supporting illegality, what effrontery There was nothing worth responding to. Why are you blaming Wike for the budget? The governor has declared several times in the past that the crisis is not hindering the performance of his job. You guys keep making excuses. And what business do I have with publication of resolutions? Can you now see the nonsense that do not warrant any response? Are resolutions at private political meetings usually made public? It is at the discretion of the participants. The Speaker simply decided to set the record straight because the governor was misleading the public. Fubara is also notorious for not honouring resolutions. If you don't understand politics, go to the entertainment section. |

Truths9ja: Breaking news Fubara: if he sees his Defêction as gaining supermacy , he will start having power tussle - opuende
Rivers State House of Assembly lawmaker Honourable Lolo Isaiah Opuende has warned Governor Siminalayi Fubara against using his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a strategy to establish dominance over FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and the state legislature.
Speaking during an interview from 7:49 with Nigerian Info FM, Opuende acknowledged the governor’s constitutional right to change party affiliation. “The governor has right and the freedom to associate the constitution, so he empowered him. So we have nothing to say. If he has defected, it is a welcome development. At least we all can be in the same party and work together for the development of the state if he sees it from that angle,” he said.
The lawmaker cautioned that Fubara should not view his party switch as a power play against his former political mentor. “But if he sees his defection as gaining supremacy over whatever that is when he will start having power tussle with some other person. You will start flexing muscle with some other persons because you defecting from PDP where you’ve lost grip and going into APC where you may not even have another grip is another question to ask because if I am leaving a party I should be able to leave with some structures that will be accepted,” Opuende stated. This is the only reasonable thing here. The rest are clowning as they usually do until harsh reality sets in. |

Upon all what Peter Obi said about Atiku, Pdp or any one associated with Apc before the 2023 election, who would have thought of seeing the same Peter Obi romancing with ADC? I predicted your response. You can't do more than your intellect. The Peter Obi analogy is totally ridiculous. What is the nexus? Can't even be equated. You don't even understand what you are talking about. The president is not concerned about Nigeria's image. Even if the president takes the country into a pit, some of you will justify it, not me. Aside the qualities and qualifications, what I'm looking at are the nuances and contexts, considering his past remarks about the president. Going by your question, if you don't know basic things, I wonder what you will do with the rest of my comment. The president is basically sacrificing everything for politics, including Nigeria's image. We know some politicians don't have self-respect and integrity anyway. It has never been this blatant. |

reddingtonblack: He went further to say that about three of such meetings have been facilitated by Minister Wike but Gov. Fubara has refused to implement any of the resolutions reached in all the meetings.
The man just stupidly admitted to what FUBara said, he did not lie ... according to both side it takes ex governor Wike to facilitate a meeting between elected assembly and a Governor .. 🤣 what kind of yeye country be this nd he can even say it
Wike a minister in abuja have to be available in Rivers for Governor nd legislative to have an engagement that will push state affairs ... this is the height of insult to ones sanity
He said Fubara have not implemented resolutions they agreed with wike, do we need IFA to guess those resolution is about Wike interest and not even the state
Yet some low lives supporters we come here nd tell us it is politics .. politics from where written by who ?? who the fvck is Wike in Nigeria political journey to democracy. we know this drunkard humble beginning Patience jonathan even breastfed him politically. I detest poor reasoning, especially one displayed with arrogance. I will ignore the falsehood in your last sentence, since anyone knowledgeable about politics will find that exaggerated nonsense laughable. Let me address this topic and the rest of your comment. What Amaewhule has actually admitted and contrary to the falsehood presented to the public by the governor is that THERE HAS INDEED BEEN MEETINGS BETWEEN THEM. That is the crux of this issue. However, the governor has not implemented what was agreed in those meetings. Simple. I am not surprised to hear that because it is the character of the governor. He has no iota of integrity. Same thing he did when the president intervened last time and told him to implement the resolutions. Now he has started again. Governor Fubara is not only politically naive, but grossly incompetent. Why would I keep scheduling and having meetings with you, when I know you won't implement the resolutions? Who is even playing with him? The cluelessness is written all over his face. Other states are busy presenting their budgets, but till date Fubara has not. Rivers State barely has more than one or two commissioners. He is not coming back to that office, and will only end up disgracing himself at the election, if he attempts to. This rubbish will end this tenure, since he doesn't want to resign. |

Dbegining: At this point, I believe this speaker guy is going beyond his borders. There's nothing he can use against Fubara now because as it's stands, Fubara - as a governor now in APC is the political leader of the speaker. Except the speaker wants to decamp again.
The speaker should keep quiet and govern instead of these political gimmicks he's throwing around. Can you read? Or you just wanted to pour out the frustration in your small head? Your comment is totally out of point. This is what happens with sycophancy. Fubara is claiming he was unable to meet with them, and The Speaker has now revealed that in fact there was a meeting, but Fubara failed to implement the resolutions. Fubara is a snake, albeit cowardly and clueless. |
