Sermwell: How was your laws obeyed in Lagos? A speaker was removed for fraud, what happened next? We have too many brainwashed fools in this country oh! So if the wrong thing was done in Lagos, it should be the norm and replicated across the country? Are you one of those who usually complain about Nigeria? Shame on you. |

lexy2014: if that is the case, then you are very qualified to answer my questions.
over to you:
1. Can you please tell me why the 27 lawmakers in question are loyal to Wike instead of the people of rivers state?
2. As at May 2024, at least 6 commissioners had resigned their appointments.
They were referred to as "Pro-Wike Commissioners". why were they referred to as such and why did they resign?
3. In December 2023, it was reported that Tinubu brokered a "peace deal" between Fubara and Wike. what was the purpose of the "peace deal"? Go to my previous replies and get those answers. |

bentenny: Look into your broken mirror and you will see a benighted rambler!
You just jumped into my comments with irrational and ch.ildi.sh rants without seeking questions for clarity!
If EFCC was actually doing their job like you are blindly claiming, why haven't they started with wike who was part and parcel of that same administration? Or are you not aware that any investigation on Odili will indirectly affect one of your newly favourite politician in wike?
Was EFCC not the same agency that vowed to investigate Wike's administration? So why are they quiet now that Wike is working with their boss Tinubu?
Since you have become the inglorious spokesman and defender of the toothless EFCC,what happened to the investigative report that they submitted to the president about the corrupt acts of former humanitarian ministers Betta Edu and Sadiya Umar Farouq?
While I await your predictable and prevaricating reply, has the EFCC not yet finished their investigation on the embezzlement charges against former governors now senators Akpabio and Orji Uzor Kalu when they were governors?
Whether you like it or yes,EFCC is a toothless bulldog used by the presidency to harass and witchhunt their perceived political opponent until they become part of them! Shameless defender of the corrupt. I can see through your charade. You won't dictate how EFCC will do its job. They want to investigate Odili and they shall. Why do you care so much? Did Odili share his money with you? Nonsense. |

If you obey the laws, you have nothing to fear. Unfortunately, Fubara has violated so many laws, and turned Rivers State Judiciary to a laughing stock with the help of the Chief Judge. Enough is enough. |

It is within their powers to do so. Rivers State might probably need a new Chief Judge because under the watch of this present one, Rivers State judiciary has become a joke, especially the High Court. |
Politics › Re: Fubara Insincere, Whipping Up Sentiments — Rivers Assembly by BondRiv: 1:14pm On Mar 13, 2025 |
The governor keeps creating more problems for himself with his silly games. Communicate to the Assembly through the appropriate channel on a suitable date for the presentation of the budget and wait for a reply. Not this rubbish of sending a letter the previous day and showing up at the Assembly residence, the next day. The Assembly building you demolished out of your desperation to stop impeachment, have you been able to rebuild it? It is easy to destroy. Repent of your unlawful ways. Also, reduce your entourage and come with only relevant people because you are going to their residence. |

Ignorant fellow, what audacity? Or you are simply accustomed to the abnormalities in Nigeria. Is the Speaker an aide to the governor? He heads a separate branch of government, just like the governor. What is needed is mutual respect, no branch is superior to the other in a democracy. The governor initiated this disrespect by instructing his staff to ignore correspondence from the Assembly. Enough of this hypocrisy. |

Isn't the court infringing on the powers of the legislature by restraining it from proceeding with its investigation? Each branch of government must respect the other. Natasha was in a haste and pre-empted the committee. The Senate should have been allowed to conclude its investigation, before the institution of any suit in court. The woman is just all over the place. |

He should know that one day he will be in this same shoe as Sim and we will remind him of this and just may be on that day it will be one small boy from Ogoni that will frustrate him like this. Keep quiet. Some of you don't appreciate the doctrine of separation of powers and the principles of checks and balances because you are used to rubber-stamp assemblies. The governor should wait for a reply, if he sent a letter. He had 48 hours to present the budget, but let his ego run wild as it has done so far. |

Justice for Rivers people at last. That perpetual injunction was a miscarriage of justice. Peter Odili must be held accountable. Also one of the major elements misleading Fubara on this lawless path.
