Do not meet with him. Why has he not presented the budget? The meeting is unnecessary. He should simply abide by the Supreme Court judgment and obey our laws.

make una dey push am. Continue.
Don't mind them. Fubara himself is unrepentant. The house invited him first, in line with the implementation of the Supreme Court judgment. He subsequently gave a lame excuse about CTC and now this. Only a fool will honour that invitation.

All of u will spend your honorable in your houses till 2027.

A governor can ignore court order. He's under immunity.

If I were Fabura, Rivers will be non grata to you people. Infact,u will all hide till 2031
You don't know the implications of what you are talking about. Even if he is under immunity, does it last forever? The same clueless man is harbouring second term ambitions. He will still need the Supreme Court. Currently, if he disregards this judgment, he is calling for anarchy and will leave that office by whatever means possible.

Politics › Re: Governor Fubara invites Amaewhule, Rivers Assembly over Supreme Court Judgement by BondRiv:
Ominous.

Attend such a meeting at your own peril. Let Fubara go to the assembly and present the budget. A man that doesn't keep to his word. Only a foolish person will honour that invitation. No meeting is needed for our laws to be obeyed, which includes everything in that letter.

The meeting is unnecessary and meaningless.

What is wrong with the FG? You fought and won a battle, yet unwilling to take necessary actions. This is why sometimes I admire the U.S.

I totally condemn this dangerous and unserious approach to governance. ALGON is right.
Politics › Re: Pro-Wike Lawmaker Mocks Fubara Over Invitation For Peace Meeting by BondRiv: 11:03pm On Mar 09, 2025
Assembly members do not go anywhere!

Here's what I know, Fubara is not a man of his word. Proof of which is in the public domain. Ab initio, the meeting is meaningless. I wouldn't advise the lawmakers to honour that meeting. He can implement the Supreme Court judgment without the meeting and should do so quickly for his own good.

For a clueless person, Fubara seems to have an over bloated and unchecked ego. Then again, he isn't called clueless for nothing, so there is the answer.

Wonder shall never end....in Port Harcourt. ...

A common charge and bail lawyer is compelling River State duly elected legislators in the state to hold their sittings where he wants them to. This is not only laughable, but also an abuse of the school that issued his legal certificate....LMAO!!!
Perhaps one day he will approach the Senate president and instruct him on how to conduct their meetings in the hallow chamber....Perhaps I should even tell my oga to arrive at work by 6:30 a.m., as stated on his offer of employment letter.....
.
Lawyers like that ought to be disbarred.

You keep displaying a classic case of GIGO. You fill your head with trash and think yourself wise.

The judgement talks about defection to another party. Did I talk about defection to another party?

People can look at things from various perspectives. Not everyone is an unthinking buffon such as yourself.

Maggot that thinks itself a bettle.
Empty-headed arrogance. Obviously, you can't even comprehend your post. Using words you don't understand. Were all the things I highlighted not in your post? Like I stated earlier, you don't know what you're talking about. You probably copied the incoherent rubbish somewhere. Keep displaying your foolishness. I will still advise you to read the judgment. Irredeemable element.

Wike will surely see the war he is calling for. Thank God Niger delta militants are already on rampage. Tinubu is the unwise one here. I know he will soon abandon Wike when the polity is too hot. Ijaw are not the type that will cow down easily. They will make sure their demand is met. Even if federal government declare state of emergency, that's where the real war will begin.
Coconut head. Instead of you to tell the governor to obey our laws, you are rambling to your doom. No one is forcing him to be the governor, he can resign at any time. However, if he wants to remain there, he MUST obey the constitution of Nigeria.

I want to ask please. Many Rivers people bear Chibuike, Emenike etc., and other names most Igbos bear. I am yearning to know if the names mean the same thing as it does in Igbo or does it mean sth else?

For example, Chibuike means God is my stronghold/strength, I guess. Does it mean the same thing in Rivers?
Notorious unity beggars, leave Ikwerre people alone. It is not by force. Haba! Dem curse una?
Politics › Re: Two RSIEC Commissioners Resign In Rivers State by BondRiv: 6:11pm On Mar 08, 2025
These people must account for their lawless actions. The governor spent unappropriated Rivers State money on a sham election. The same clueless thing is yet to present the budget to the assembly and busy mingling with criminals, including those he calls commissioners because the lawmakers didn't screen them.

Hmm...

Hopefully, sanity prevails so the masses do not suffer this political ego fight.

That said, Fubara should have simply used the lawmakers exit from PDP (videos & court statements) as evidence that they had left pdp. The issue of cross carpeting should not have arose.

Since the Nigerian constitution does not recognise independent candidates, thier decision and action to exit pdp would have been enough for them lose thier seats.

So, while fubara can prove that they had left the pdp, he cannot prove that they decamped to apc, which is now the crux of the matter.
ivandragon:
As usual, a clown that doesn't read to understand. Was I talking about defection to another party?
Better stop displaying your comprehension deficiency here.
Go and read the judgment. You simply do not know what you are talking about. I went easy on you the first time, but you had to display your stupidity again, instead of taking my earlier correction.

You displayed sheer ignorance in your previous comment which I quoted again and highlighted.

You mentioned they "left" PDP, using the word "exit" in another sentence. My question to you now is where did they go? The fact is that they never defected, so there is nothing Fubara can prove.

If you had read the judgment, you would know this. I won't tell you what the Supreme Court said constitutes proof of membership of a political party. Go and READ the judgment

Your head is empty, still you won't humble yourself. Arrogance won't help you.

How about you read the recent Supreme Court judgment on the issue and be informed on what constitutes defection to another party? Do that and stop displaying your ignorance here.

Rubbish. Imagine the audacity. Directing the legislative arm of government to comply with a lawless executive order to sit in the government house. Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign is another useless organisation, but even worse is the law firm representing them.

Fubara should keep deceiving himself. Clueless thing.

Lanruze:
PBAT should remember the Yoruba proverb that quotes " some people cannot repair, they just destroy".

The Celebration of Nigeria meeting it's oil production quota will seem like a mirage in 30 minutes.

Dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,

Kindly note that the Agbami route, Ogoni and Escravos region with the most exclusive strain of crude oil is within the Ijaw territory and by extension Similayi Fubara is Carpon in Chief with Asari also spitting fire.

The Ijaws spread from Santa Barbara in the Gulf of Guinea axis to River Calabar whilst being the fourth dominant ethnic group in Nigeria.

Those boys will reduce Nigeria Oil production to 800,000 BPD if PBAT doesn't find a political solution to Wike (House of Assembly) & Fubara Executive impasse.
The federal government won't succumb to threats from criminals. No sensible government will. You better be careful how you amplify these criminal voices, else you will be picked up to answer questions, and you better be able to answer them.

No one is looking for any political solution. It was provided before and was rejected. The issues have now been resolved legally by the Supreme Court. Fubara must obey the judgment and laws of Nigeria.

Only small children will take these threats lightly. Former President Obasanjo knows better. Tompolo won't do pim. Asari is already on their side as Ijaw will never war Ijaw. Military gragra no dey this matter, people will die and Nigeria will lose economically. State of emergency won't deter those men instead it will only embolden their resolve for destruction.
Making useless analysis. State of emergency will do something because the governor is the one behind this. He is clueless, but should be made to know the consequences.
