Sports › Iheanacho, Alexis Sanchez, Ozil Included In “The Worst” XI Spoof Awards by BoneBlogger(op): 5:18pm On Sep 25, 2018
Manchester United stars, Alexis Sanchez, Victor Lindelof and Arsenal star; Mesut Ozil have all be named in “The Worst” XI in Marca’s spoof awards. Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho was also not left out.

Loris Karius unsurprisingly makes the XI after his Champions League final horror show, while Tiemoue Bakayoko is also in after a nightmare year at Chelsea.

On the back of last night’s Fifa The Best Awards, the Spanish publication have held no punches in outing the players who endured a year to forget.

And unfortunately for fans of English football, there’s a decidedly strong Premier League flavour.

Check out the full XI as named by Marca.

Politics › Police Offers N9.5M Reward Over Death Of Lawmaker’s Son In UK. Photos by BoneBlogger(op): 4:53pm On Sep 25, 2018
Six months on from the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Abraham Badru in Hackney, officers continue to appeal for help from the public in catching his killers and piecing together details of Abraham’s life. The graduate son of House of Representatives member, Hon. Enitan Dolapo Badru, representing Lagos Island, was shot dead near his family’s London home.

A £20,000 (over N9.5 million) reward remains on offer for anyone with information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the murder.

Police were called on Sunday, 25 March to Ferncliff Road, E8, following reports of gunshots heard. Abraham, a personal trainer, was found suffering from shotgun injuries. He died at the scene from a shotgun wound to the chest.

Moments after the shooting, a black male believed to be wearing a black Puffa-type jacket made off from the scene on foot, before getting on a bicycle; he had rucksack on his back. The bicycle is described as white and didn't have any lights.

Detectives investigating the murder have taken 163 statements, followed up over 600 lines of inquiry and viewed 200 hours of CCTV footage - this has been a challenge in itself with some video formats taking hours to view 10 minutes of footage.

Officers believe there are still a number of witnesses to be traced and they have released a timeline of Abraham’s final movements in a bid for them to come forward.

Abraham Badru, 26, who was given a police bravery award as a teenager for saving a woman from a sex attack, was gunned down in the street.

Crime › See What Berom People Did After Fulani Villagers Were Killed In Plateau. Photos by BoneBlogger(op): 2:41pm On Sep 25, 2018
Some days ago, it was reported that over three persons were killed in Gura-Riyom community of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. The victims said to be coming from Sabongida Kanang on Sunday were attacked by some youths from Gura-Riyom in Sot Ward of Gyel under Jos South Local Government Area.

Among the victims was one Aisha Musa, a nine months pregnant woman who was killed on Sunday, 16/9/2018 and her remains were recovered on Monday 17/9/2018. Aisha was a cow milk seller in Bukuru area, according to reports.

In a Facebook post made by one Adamu Mohammed, he stated that, upon receiving news that the victims were missing, the Fulani Youth leader immediately called upon The Gwomre, "Gyel Village Head" of Jos South LGA, who is also the Ward Head of “Kwata Ward” the location where the ugly incident happened.

Mohammed reported that the Gwomre immediately called the Vigilante Commander of Jos South, the Berom Youth Leader of Jos South, the Fulani Youth leader of Jos South, the JNI Director and the DPO of B. Division, Bukuru, who commissioned a joint search for the missing persons.

This combine efforts and the positive role each person played, led to the discovery of the dead victims.

Mohammed said an investigation was carried out by the team and they gathered first hand information from the good people of Berom who revealed their displeasure with what happened to the victims. The Berom Youth leader, The VGN commander, who is also Berom and the Ward Head of Kwata, reportedly went from house to house in search of those who were suspected to be responsible for the killings. The team handed the suspects over to the Police under the authority of the Gyel Village Head and the Jos South LGA Chairman, who did not sleep that very day following what happened.

Muhammad, in his Facebook post said; "I am a living witness of what the Beroms did, which is worthy of commendation and Allah will surely bless them for their intentions are for peace to re-install at Jos South and Plateau at large.  Now we are waiting to see which measure Government will take to put an end to such."

Crime › UK Based Man Disappointed With Police After This Happened In Imo. Photos by BoneBlogger(op): 9:26am On Sep 20, 2018
A Nigerian man based in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, has taken to social media to reveal his disappointment with the Nigeria Police force following a robbery at his house in Nkwerre, Imo state. In a lengthy piece posted on Wednesday, September 19th (yesterday), Chin Akano, revealed how some of the thieves who burgled his home are now free, no thanks to the police.

Read what Chin Akano shared on Facebook;

Nigeria is a finished country and i doubt if any president can save it. There are certain things i see as someone who lives where things are done properly and my heart bleeds profusely. Long RANT:

Late 2016 my home in Nkwerre was massively burgled by Hausa people in connivance with my Hausa security man and police were called in. Sadly police could not do anything. They could not do jack. They were interested in how to make money off my predicament. Out of frustration and not being around, i handed the matter to Nkwerre Vigilante who swung into action, found the criminals and took them to the police. I put pressure and police took them to court and they were remanded. DPO of the police station had to call me to send money to transport these criminals to Owerri from Nkwerre.

He told me they needed to hire a vehicle. I sent money. This DPO who has now been transferred away from Nkwerre did so much to deceive me. Each time i asked him the adjourned date for the case , he would tell me no date and a wrong date. I did not know who the IPO was , neither did i know who the prosecutor was. So what happened was that each time the case was called up, the complainant (me) or his representative was not in court. The magistrate was at the verge of striking out the case, if not that i decided to send someone to the court to find out the actual hearing date and appeared in person. Clearly this DPO was compromised and i would prove it to him, should the need arise.

Every aspect of the investigation, i parted with money. Each time a hearing is fixed, i have to give money to the court to send someone to Owerri to notify the prison authorities to bring the suspects to court. Sometimes i would send money to transport the hoodlums from Owerri prison to the Court in Nkwerre. If i did not give money, they will not appear in court and case will be adjourned.

Then these criminals were granted bail. These were Hausa boys who damaged my house terribly and carted away properties worth several millions of Naira. They were granted bail by a court and the guarantor (surety) was another hausa man whose address was not verrified by the court. The first accused who admitted participating in the crime and explained how they did it and where my properties were, was granted bail and his surety was a fulani herdsman i would say. Of course this man jumped bail and never returned and his name was struck out of the case. Before then the ring leader was never arrested because Noah was said to have ran to Sokoto and police wanted me to fund their journey to Sokoto to look for him. SMH.

The penultimate hearing, i had a serious altercation with the Magistrate who got so irate that she threatened to deal with me , if i did not stop disrespecting her court. Maybe she would have remanded me for contempt of her court. I told her that her court was non-diligent for granting a criminal who has accepted such a crime bail without ensuring that his surety is well known and address verified.

The Police man prosecuting the case for the police is a totally different matter. Very dishonest. When he was asked to look for the escaped suspect or his suerty, he asked me for money which i gave. He just diverted the money and did nothing. When i asked him about the surety, he said he did not find him and that he wandered all the nook and cranny of Anara in Mbano looking for the surety. Anara i asked, he said yes. Little did he know that i had found out that the surety's documented address was 5 minutes walk from his police station ( Okwu in Nkwerre) which is no where near where he said he was wandering about. So sad and pathetic. Heads must roll after this case. Surely.

Case is still progressing and anyone that is called to give his prosecution testimonies ( witness), I am asked to pay them. Now its the turn of the IPO to give his own account ( testimony). Prosecutor told me that i needed to pay the IPO before he would come. Meanwhile the police station is a minute walk from the court. I gave a few thousands reluctantly and after vehement protest. Next hearing, where is the IPO , i asked.

Prosecutor said that the person he thought was the IPO said he wasn't. This was the response of a trained police officer prosecuting a criminal offence of this magnitude. What then, i asked?. He said the actual IPO was on transfer and he would need to be signalled to come, also at my expense. If i insisted that they did the job they are being paid for, case will stall and be struck out. I had to part with money again.

Last last i decided to engage a lawyer to sit in for me and follow things through. The case is ongoing now as i type and i am in far away UK hoping that the witnesses paid appeared in court . In this UK, if you are a victim of crime, all you need do is report to police and they would work with you to prosecute. Victim will even get help and free professional counselling if necessary.

But back home, if you are a victim of crime and have no money, your case will die. I really weep for my country.

Travel › Over 20 Africans Nabbed In A Small Car In Failed Smuggling Attempt. Photos by BoneBlogger(op): 11:59am On Sep 18, 2018
This shows the extent Africans are willing to go in the quest for greener pastures abroad. A shocking video which is currently trending online - shows the moment over 20 African migrants were caught in a small vehicle while trying to be smuggled into one of the countries in Europe.

The Africans including ladies who packed themselves in the small vehicle like sardines - were stopped by soldiers at a border as they ordered all the occupants to come out.

Even the security operatives were surprised by the number of migrants that came out from both inside the car and the booth.

This is not the first time Africans are hiding themselves in a vehicle in a bid to enter an European country.

Some time ago, four Africans were found hidden in a secret boot, engine bay and dashboard of a BMW at Spain’s border with Morocco.
