A man seriously injured his own brother during a bloody fight in a village in Sumaila Local Government Area of ​​Kano state in a village in Magami, Sansani. A man was rescued after nearly committing suicide recently in Hadejia Local Government Area of ​​Jigawa State. The man was said to have tried to kill himself over an issue pertaining to his girlfriend, according to online reports.

The man was rescued by neighbors who spotted him after hanging himself.

He is now receiving medical treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

This is happening few days after a 20-year-old boy identified as Umar Muhammad committed suicide in the Kandahar suburb of Hadejia, Jigawa State.

According to reports, the depressed young man was found dead, after allegedly hanging himself on a tree near a river in Kandahar area.

In Follow up to the kidnapping of Mrs Tina Bob-Manuel, on 21/2/2018, IRT Operatives traced the kingpin, one Prosper David a "Militant General who embraced the federal Government Amnesty program but later formed a kidnapping gang in Bayelsa State.

IRT Operatives have been on his trail for a long time after he masterminded the kidnap of Mrs Tina Bob-Manuel on 22/11/2017 in her shop located at No.107 Nvuigwe Road Woji Port-Harcourt and several other kidnappings.

The suspect went underground after the collection of ransom in two installments and when he sensed that the Police were closing in on him, he changed his contact number known to his personal driver that was earlier arrested by the Police and relocated his family from Victory Estate Azikoro Yenagoa in December 2017 to the Creek all in a bid to avoid arrest.

After about 90 days of painstaking intelligence gathering with Technical assistance Support from TIU, the suspect was tracked to Asiri area of Yenagoa Bayelsa state to his new rented apartment and on sighting the operatives, he ran into his apartment ceiling from where he engaged the Operatives but was neutralized and fatally injured which led to his death.

Suspects arrested for the kidnappings are Johnson Denis driver to the kidnap kingpin and the Militant General, Prosper David (deceased) kidnap and "Militant General". Benjamin Johnson and Anthony Joshua are 2 more Gang members of the kidnap Kingpin who were also arrested between 21/2/18 and 14/3/18.

Exhibit recovered includes: One AK47 Riffle, one magazine twenty Six rounds of live ammunition, 4 expended Ammunitions and a Nokia phone belonging to his kidnap victim with which Ransom Negotiation was done.

Serious efforts are in top gear to arrest other gang members and recovery of more arms.

A video footage currently trending online shows the moment two women were apprehended after stealing food items in a shopping mall. According to reports, the women were acting suspiciously before they were apprehended by one of the staff who alerted security.

One of the women tried to run away, but was caught. The women were asked to bring out the stolen items which include packaged meat and foodstuffs which were concealed in their pants and bras.

The location where this happened is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

Tired of the incessant abduction in their region, local hunters alongside Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders nabbed a group of Kidnappers in in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The hunters and cattle breeders reportedly organized themselves and laid an ambush for the suspected kidnappers before apprehending them.

The suspects have been handed over to the police who are now conducting investigation.

A group of Badoo cultists were arrested today at Magbon Alade, Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos state. The suspected cultists were handcuffed and bundled into a car before they were handed over to the Nigerian Police, Akodo Division this afternoon by a local security outfit. Various items were said to have been recovered from the suspects. See pictures below;

A Former Permanent Secretary in Benue state, Elizabeth-Mary Shuluwa, has go herself trending online due to what she told president Muhammdu Buhari yesterday. President Buhari was in Benue state yesterday where he met with stakeholders in the state over the series of attacks in the region..

According to mulitple online reports, the brave woman criticized President Buhari over the huge number of his security personnel as she reportedly told him to his face that the high security presence that protected him during his state visit to Benue was enough to defend the state from genocide by Fulani herdsmen.

She reportedly said she had never seen so many military officers in Benue State and that the soldiers with the president could have stopped the bloodshed.

"Mr. President, I stand here today to talk on behalf of the women, children and the aged of Benue state. Ours is a cry Mr. President that we have cried since the eve of New Year, the black New Year in Benue state 2018. On that day Mr. President, your mothers and women and daughters and children and the aged of Benue State woke up to a horrendous news, news of maiming and killings by marauding herdsmen and they just didn't kill the men that were like them, they killed my sisters, pregnant women, defenseless old men and Mr. President if you were not a soldier I would have said you are in that category because you are also in your seventies and we categorize them as old sir. They were among those killed, butchered, their eyes gouged out. Mr President, we cried, we wailed.

As I speak on behalf of my sisters, the women, children and the aged of Benue state, I do not have that watery substance that comes out when you cry anymore because we have cried. For two and a half months, we have been crying. No day goes by without you hearing that they are bringing dead people from Logo, from Guma, from Okpokwu, from Kwande, from Katsina Ala, from the outskirt of Makurdi Local Government and the list continues sir and we are the ones who cry. We have shouted, we have wailed but of course now we dont have the watery substance to come out so that you can see our unhappiness and displeasure.

I know that you were a military man now you are our father in a civilian arrangement. I hear that military personnel even in war, by their terms of engagement, they dont kill women, they dont kill children and definitely they dont kill defenseless old people.

Thank you sir for coming, like Mary said to Jesus when he came to their home at the death of her brother Lazarus, she said my Lord, if you were here, my brother would not have died. I know that Mr. President you are the father of Nigeria, you are the father of all Nigerian citizens. Today that you are here, I will say to you directly sir that if you were here this genocide that has taken place in Benue state on New Year day wouldn't have occurred.

Lastly, I want to just tell you one more thing that made me cry this morning as I was coming to the Peoples House. I saw scores of soldiers, policemen, civil defence personnel and other paramilitary agencies standing all over Makurdi and I said to myself if these people as they are today were in Guma, in Okpokwu, in Agatu, in Kwande, in Logo, in Katsina Ala and in other places, would the genocide have taken place? It wouldn't have taken place.

On behalf of the women, mothers and children of Benue state, the seeming silence and insensitivity made us to cry more and more. I know that we may not cry anymore now that you are here Mr President.

Two students who were sponsored to study abroad have welcomed a bouncing new baby. Sulaiman and Maijidda were part of the 197 Students that were sponsored to Uganda by the administration of of former governor of Kano state, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, which after their graduation they got married.

Last week, they were blessed with a baby girl and they named her after Haj Salamatu Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso the Wife of Sen Kwankwaso.

In continuation of intensive patrol across the states following a report on criminal hideouts, on Sunday 11 March 2018 troops of Headquarters Commands Army Record supported by Army Headquarters Special Forces conducted a raid operation at Irovochinomi and Egee communities within Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State.

During the operation one of the prime suspect by name Mohammed Bashir a member of the gang that allegedly killed Corporal Mamman of Army Headquarters Special Forces on 27 February 2018, was apprehended and the following items were recovered, 2 AK 47 rifles with registration number 58008731 and 45 rounds of 7.62mm special was recovered.

A follow up on the operation led to recovery of additional 2 AK 47 rifles. Pictures of the suspect and the items recovered are attached.

A woman who was allegedly abused and maltreated by her husband has been begging him to come and take back his bride price for two years now. According to reports, the mocked her and taunted her with his current girlfriend whom he allegedly said is prettier than her.

The lady is seeking for help to return the bride price and obtain a receipt from the man.

Human rights lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye shared her update online. Read below;

He abused his wife. He maltreated her. He starved her. He told her that his current girlfriend is prettier. He even denied the vow he made at the altar. He said to her: "I never told you I loved you or that you would be my only wife". He neglected and abandoned her. He threatened her with divorce. He even made a "mock demand" for the refund of the bride price.

After enduring and praying for him to change, she found the courage and left the marriage. Now, for two years, she has been begging him and his people to come and take the bride price and the man has been posting her. He believes that if he does not take the bride price, he would continue to hold the lady hostage and prevent her from remarrying.

A man has taken to social media to warn people the danger of charging phone and using it to make or receive calls at the same time. According to the man identified as Ayariga Hassan, his Samsung Galaxy S5 got burnt while charging the smart phone five minutes after using it to receive call from a friend this morning.

Below is what he shared on Facebook;

Good Morning fellow country men and women, at around 9.30am today after receiving a call from a friend I left my phone on charge and less than 5 mins my Samsung galaxy S5 started burning. Please it is real, do not charge phone and receive calls at the same time.

A lady filled with appreciation has taken to Facebook to celebrate the 5th anniversary since she survived a serious car accident which left her with a spine injury. ‎Chiamaka Blessing Joseph revealed how she was made to use clutches to walk as the doctors reportedly told her that her chance of having a child is 5years+ due to the severity of the injury.

According to her, she married a year after the accident and now she has been blessed with two daughters and still counting..

She shared her testimony via Facebook. Read below;

It's the fifth year, I had terrible accident with my elder brother Uzoemeka Tochukwu that almost claimed our lives, but our lives being hidden in Christ were saved! I was most badly injured. Glasses of wilscreen pieced through my eyes, and I sustained a spine injury. For the months I battled with pains and hurt, my God surrounded me with lovely family and his grace was sure enough! I miraculously got healed.

Though I'm left using glasses for my affected eyes, then little surfacing pains @spine from time to time, I'm fine by the stripes of JESUS CHRIST!

Relating to the accident, my doctor told me my fate to have a child was from 5years above, but God broke the protocol, I got married a year after the plight, got pregnant, not just that pregnancy, but within 3years, became proud mother of two Angelic daughters in less than the 5years the doctor stated, and still counting. If death couldn't hold JESUS in the grave, it is Blessing Chiamaka Joseph that spine will hold from attaining dreams?

No way! I publicize you JESUS, you continue to be God over my life and family, and those who truly believe and follow you! No mortal speaks when God hasn't commanded!
