A fatal car accident happened on Sunday evening – killing one in the process. The unfortunate incident involving a private car occurred between Urhonigbe and Obiaruku in Ukwuani local government area of Delta state as the driver was killed instantly.

The pictures were shared online in order to locate the family of the deceased.

It was earlier reported that a 9-year-old girl abused by an official of the Federal Road Safety Corp, FRSC, in Benue state. The road safety official identified as Mr Charles Ali has been arrested, according to Ukan Kurugh who broke the story.

It was revealed that when Mr Ali discovered that the case was getting serious after bragging to the girl's father that nothing can happen to him, he took off from the Police headquarter in Makurdi, the state capital when he was called for question and afterwards excused himself to make a call then disappeared for 4 days.

The police moved into action and was arrested him yesterday.

According to Ukan Kurugh, the suspect agreed to the crime before his pastor and also agreed to the police in writing too.

The Deputy commissioner of Police Benue state command, have reportedly asked he should be charged to court tomorrow or next.

It can be recalled that the FRSC official was caught unclad in the car on top of the young girl. After the act was exposed to the girl's father, he took the child to the hospital and had necessary tests run on her which confirmed that the child had been raped.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen Thursday attacked residents of Agasha town in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State - killing at least 10 villagers in the process. According to reports, the herdsmen invaded the town from the neighbouring Nasarawa State and opened fire on the unsuspecting residents.

10 people were reportedly killed while several others sustained injuries.

This is even as Naka town in Gwer West Local Government Area was razed down by angry soldiers who were protesting the killing of one of them by youths of the area.

In Naka, the capital of Gwer West Local Government Area of the state, men of the Nigerian army deployed to the area went on rampage, arresting and burning down several commercial and residential houses following the killing of a soldier by unknown men.

The soldier, Private Danlami Gambo, was said to be missing for some days from his duty post, but was later discovered dead and was buried in a shallow grave.

It was alleged that the soldier was mistaken for a herdsman among those terrorising the area and killing several persons last week.

The lavish dinner is ahead of anointing the Queen's successor on Friday, as she told foreign dignitaries earlier today of her 'sincere wish' that they pick Prince Charles to take over as leader of the Commonwealth.

There were plenty of colourful outfits, with many guests arriving in traditional dress for the dinner in the Palace's picture gallery.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen wrecked havoc by allegedly killing four harmless men in a recent attack in Plateau state. According to reports, the tipper loaders were working when their attackers alleged to be Fulani herdsmen ambushed and killed them in Bassa, Plateau State yesterday.

Their corpses were dumped around Angwan Rogo behind 3rd Armoured Division Golf Coast.

The deceased victims have been identified as Adam Sunday, Jatau Alan, Chohu Awarhei and Markus Mali....

May their souls rest in peace.

Suspected political thugs today attacked a member of the Rivers House of Assembly, Hon. Promise Chisom Dike of Oyigbo local government area of the state. The group of hoodlums set the lawmaker's SUV on fire after allegedly parking his car in front of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP office in Oyigbo.

According to information gathered, the attack was as a result of squabble between the attacked and a group of politicians ahead of the PDP election in the state.

There was pandemonium earlier today after armed robbers attacked First bank in Ifake Ekiti, Ekiti state. The hoodlums were said to have killed a mobile police officer who was stationed at the bank as they carted away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The incident has attracted a large number of residents who gathered in their numbers after the robbery as security operatives arrived the scene few hours later.

The corpse of the slain policeman is yet to be evacuated as at the time of filing this report.

Here are graphic pictured of the four police officers of who were killed by suspected herdsmen in Benue state. According to the statement by the Benue Police Command spokesman, ASP Moses Yamu, the incident happened at Anyibe, in Logo Local Government Area of the state.

Logo and Guma local government areas have been under severe attacks of suspected Fulani herdsmen since the New Year, resulting in loss of lives.

Yamu, in the statement issued, stated that the Policemen came under the fire of insurgents at Anyibe, Logo LGA between 18.00 hours of Sunday and early Monday morning.

“Sadly at the moment, four casualties have been suffered by Police,” Yamu noted.

Yamu said that additional reinforcement, including the air asset of the Police, has been deployed by Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.

The PPRO expressed assurance that the attackers would soon be arrested and be made to face the wrath of the law.

A member of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and a female aspirant for Ward 2 councillorship in Bonny, Rivers state, has raised an alarm after her staunch supporter was attacked and injured yesterday by some political thugs ahead of Tuesday's primary election.

According to Ruth Dienye Hart, the brutal attack was sponsored by a desperate councillorship aspirant who wants her dead.

A young man met his untimely end few days ago in Jattu town, Edo state while trying to cross a road. The young man was knocked down by a speeding vehilce which smashed his head and killed him on the spot. The shocking accident was said to have caused tension in the area before removal of the man's corpse.

The corpse of Pastor Pius Oromusele was brought to Edo state government house (Osadebe Avenue) today by his family members. The pastor was reportedly killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in his farm at odigie community in the Ovia North -East Local Government Area of Edo State.

It was gathered that Eromosele was abducted by the gunmen while working on his farm at Odighi community on March 29.

The body of the deceased and that of another person were discovered in the bush by a search team comprising hunters and vigilantes on April 3.

According to the son of the deceased, Dr. Richard Eromosele, the killers had earlier demanded a ransom of N4m before the decomposing body was found.

The Edo State Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo, said one person has been arrested one suspect in connection with the killing.

This is really hilarious. A video footage trending online shows how a man was knocked out with a single punch while trying to defend a lady who was fighting with another guy. The man tried to attack and beat a young man who was fighting with a lady in public.

Onlookers tried to stop the fight between the young man and the lady as they held each other before the man decided to step in and fight for her.

The young man gave him a single punch which threw the man off balance as he collapsed and had difficulty in getting up.
