An estate surveyor who lives in Abuja posed with a huge snake along with a policeman after capturing the reptile. The man joined other Nigerians to make a joke about the bizarre report trending of a snake swallowing N36 million from the vault of one of its state branches.

Posing with the big snake along the road, Usman wrote online; Caught at last, the snake that swallowed #36M!!! Oga Police, well-done!!!

Report had it that a mystery snake was said to have sneaked into the accounts office of the Board in Makurdi and ‘stolen’ N36 million cash....

It was gathered that a team of auditors was dispatched to different state offices of JAMB to take inventory of the sold and unsold scratch cards and recover whatever money that might have either been generated or mismanaged during the period of the sale.

A 21-year old university student can't seem to contain her joy after welcoming a bouncing baby boy yesterday. According to reports shared online, the young lady who was having problems with her boyfriend - got pregnant for him. The man reportedly wanted her to abort the pregnancy, but she wanted to keep it.

According to Emeka who shared the news, the boyfriend, who was a political appointee in Anambra State Government, insisted on abortion. He refused to pay for the highly needed medical checkups unless it was for abortion. He even attempted to deny responsibility for the pregnancy. This made the young lady consider abortion.

Yesterday, the baby that would have been aborted was safely delivered.

The excited mother named the baby Chukwuemeka Mark in order to appreciate the man who urged her along with others not to abort the baby.

A Nigerian national was arrested in South Africa after crashing his car during a speed chase for possession of illegal substance. The unidentified suspect was arrested by JMPD K9 officers in Lenasia area and is currently being detained to help with investigation. A police officer was found dead at his home in Akwanga town, Akwanga Local Government Area, of Nasarawa State. According to Eche Amos, the corpse of 45-year-old Corporal simply identified as Ibrahim was discovered by neighbours in front of his house this morning, Sunday, 11th February, 2018.

Corporal Ibrahim's colleagues were then notified and later went to collect his remains.

Report has it that the Akwanga General Hospital is said to perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The late Corporal Ibrahim is said to leave behind a wife and five children.

The Akwa Ibom state police has arrested 16 suspected cult members during their meeting in Uyo. On the 21st January, 2018, on a tip-off, through a text message received on a suspect’s phone in custody under investigation which read: “Greetings sir, with due respect the trench town will sit out today @ Hero’s World Hotel, Itu road, by 7pm – Sheriff”.

On the receipt of the information, Operatives from the police command swung into action and cordon the premises of the said Hotel and arrested the following suspects: -

2. Udoh, Ndiponkeabasi ‘m’ aged 24 yrs
3. Akpan, uduakobong Moses ‘m’ aged 20 yrs

Who are natives of various villages and Local Government Areas of the State. Further investigation revealed that, two suspects detained in the cell received information on their phones, inviting them for the “KLAN KULUS KLUB” (K.K.K) meeting on 21st January, 2018 at Hero’s World Hotel and Bar, located along Ikpa Road by Itu Road, Uyo.

The eighteen (18) suspects arrested in connection to the case confessed being members of “KLAN KULUS KLUB” (K.K.K) and one locally made revolver pistol was recovered.

POLICE ARRESTED 7 SUSPECTS OVER CHILD TRAFFICKING

On 20th January, 2018, through a credible intelligence, one Eno Archibong Emah ‘f' of ikot Eman Itam in Itu L. G. Area who gave birth to a baby boy on 12th November, 2017 conspired with one Emmanuel Akpabio Okon ‘m’ and Emem Asuquo Okon ‘f’ and sold the one-month old child to one Kate ‘f’ (surname and address unknown) of Aba, Abia State at the cost of four hundred thousand naira (N 400,000.00). Operatives of Akwa Ibom State Command monitored and promptly arrested the mother of the child who later led the Operatives to the arrest of other accomplices in the illicit trade. They are: Utibe Sunday John ‘m’, Imo Ime Udoetuk ‘m’, Friday John Amiang ‘m’ and Uwana Ime ‘f’ who all confessed to the crime and their individual roles in the offence, including how the proceeds where shared amongst themselves. Culprits were arraigned in court to serve as deterrent to others.

POLICE NABBED 4 ARMED ROBBERY SYNDICATE

Following an intensive patrol by Operatives of Akwa Ibom State Police Command. On 27th January, 2018 at about 0130hrs, three young men, one Otobong Emmanuel Elijah ‘m’, Amos Cosmos Ukofia ‘m’ and Umoren John Michael ‘m’ all of Uniuyo permanent site, stopped the team along Nwanaiba Road by Stanbic IBTC Bank and informed them that they were robbed at gun point by occupants of one XTERA jeep. Base on the strength of the information, the team swung into action and gave the robbers in the XTERA jeep a hot chase to IBB road, by Nigerian Christian Institute (NCI) where one of the hoodlums name withheld hang at the door of their vehicle and exchanged firing with the Police, during the incident, sustained gun shot and fell from the vehicle while others drove off.

He was arrested and eighteen thousand, eight hundred and thirty naira (N18,830.00) only was recovered from him. On 31st January, 2018 while on intensive patrol at about 0300hrs, the Nissan XTERA jeep was sighted at Mobil Filling Station, Oron Road by Uruan Street, Uyo with four (4) occupants; one Daniel Ubong Harrison ‘m’, Ekemini Udo Effiom ‘m’, Udeme-Obong Bassey ‘m’, and Joseph Eno Eduok ‘m’ who were the fleeing hoodlums of the said robbery at Nwanaiba, relaxing in the said vehicle, all of them were arrested and recovered one Nissan XTERA JEEP, on instant searched, extra number plate that was used during the robbery operation on the 27th of February, 2018 was recovered in the pigeonhole of the XTERA jeep.

During investigation, suspects confessed to the crime and will soon be charged to court.

Some people really have no shame. A young man was seriously dealt with for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl who asked him for some money in Bayelsa state. According to reports, the young man took advantage of the little girl as he allegedly raped her in the process.

This did not go down well with the residents of the area after the news broke as they accosted the accused, stripped him off his clothes and flogged him mercilessly in front of a baying crowd including children and women.

A young girl simply identified as Taofika Onaolapo has been found roaming on the streets of Ondo state. The pregnant girl, who could not give a vivid account of how she got to Igbara-oke in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, said both her father and mother were dead.

According to reports, the girl could only remember her father was shuttling between Ede and Ibadan, but was unable to give a leading description to their address either in Ede or Ibadan.

She has been taken to the Ondo State Ministry of Women Affairs.

A Nigerian man,Uchenna Irechukwu was so elated after catching an antelope during a hunting expedition in Owerri, Imo state. According to the graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, he caught the antelope while hunting last night before skinning the dead animal and butchering it in preparation for pepper soup. An eight year old girl who went for an injection at a chemist shop was sexually assaulted by a pharmacist in Otuocha, Anambra state. The pharmacist identified as Onwuegbuka raised the girl's skirt and inserted his finger into her private part - causing her serious pain in the process.

The pharmacist was arrested and later released on bail as the family planned to settle the case with N200,000.

"I was sick and my father (Her mother is late) sent me to buy drugs at the chemist shop and also take injection. Getting there the man raised my skirt, removed my pant and used his finger to insert into my private part. He continued until I started having pains and he stopped and warned me not to tell anybody. Getting home I told my Grandmother who reported it to my father".Her father reported the case at Otuocha Divisioner Police station and a medical report was issued to visit a Government hospital. The Doctor confirmed that the girl has been sexually abused (Medical Report Attach). The man #ONWUEGBUKA was arrested and detained in the station.

In what look like a tradition in the community (Investigation proved) the family of the suspect with the police has already pleaded with the girl father for settlement.

They had a meeting with the girl's father and agreement was reached to settle the case with N200,000 and they paid 150,000 to balance N50, 000.

The police released the suspect #Onwuegbuka with the sum of N70,000 two days after he was arrested.

At the Police station yesterday, I met with the Police officers and also the victim father to know his reasons of accepting money from them. He told me he was under duress and accepted the money to enable him treat her child who couldn't sit down due to the injury she sustained and that he didn't agree for settlement.

I left the community at about 5:40pm. The case will be charged to court and we will take care of her Medical treatment.

Her case will end the tradition in that community that support Sexual Assault on Minors and the girl child.

A mobile police unit from Jos, Plateau state were involved in a fatal motor accident along Gombe-Adamawa road on their way to Adamawa state on a special duty. According to a report by Daru B. Ibrahim‎, one Inspector Gideon lost his life in the tragic accident. May his soul rest in peace.

A Nigerian relationship counselor and writer has revealed what his son was told by his friends after having his first kiss. According to Victor Ibeh, his son was told to sleep with the virgin girl whom he kissed in order to "own her permanently".

Victor also narrated his similar experience at the university some years back as he deflowered a virgin who is now happily married to another man.

When I was in the Uni I had this same experience with a girl I loved. My friend told me the same thing. Unfortunately, I didn’t have someone to give me healthy counsel. Anything you do and take away another person’s power of choice is never motivated by love. As an individual, if I feel you are expressly or subtly taking away my power of choice, I will fight back. Whatever love I have for you can turn into hate in a blink.

I hear some people spell others into marriage. They are mad. Really mad. Even if you use gifts to enslave people, you are evil. The power of choice is a fundamental need of humans.

By the way, adults who also believe in Okafor’s law are morons. They are not better than this my 19 year old son who doesn’t know how to wash his back properly while bathing. The fact that an emotionally broken woman allows you to have sex with her every time you knock, isn’t something to brag about. An emotionally broken woman is almost like a lunatic on the street. How does one brag with the fact that he slept with a lunatic who isn’t in the best of her mind?

Who even said women don’t find their way back into the lives of men they have bleeped before. Who are these married men who keep going back to Bleep their exes. Shebi Nkechi’s law does not affect them?

Hymen doesn’t buy you a woman’s loyalty. Relationship thrives on values. If a person’s romantic values are not guaranteed in a relationship, don’t expect him/her to stick.

A woman who appeared to look like former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, was spotted in an African store today in London. According to Mr. Aremu, she came with two of her domestic staff as she was trying to hide her identity.

Mrs. Diezani Allison Madueke has been severely accused of financial impropriety leveled against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The looting was said to have happened during the administration of former president, Goodluck Jonathan.

A father allegedly brutalized his young daughter in this manner for refusing to have sex with him. According to reports, the little girl who hails from Okpe Isoko in Isoko north Local government area of Delta state was maltreated and assaulted by her father, John Okeregu, who allegedly attempted to rape her. The girl was taken into custody of a good Samaritan as report has it that the king of the community is trying to cover up the case.

According to reports, after the news broke out, the Commissioner of Women affairs and the Attorney General of Delta State are said to have been made aware and are now interested in the case.

The local government chairman has also sent the counselor representing the ward to meet with the little girl to help serve justice. .
