Whether or not the letter was written by her, I don't care. For all I care, the letter gives more insight to Obasanjo's personality. He is a disappointment for he had the chance to become a national hero and he squandered it due to his selfishness and opted to become a national trash can. 8 yrs to rebuild the nation after the menace of khakistocracy and he did nothing... We all know he is a wolf in sheep clothing and the clothing doesn't fit!

HealthRe: Medical Doctors Begin Nationwide Strike Wednesday by boolet: 10:40am On Dec 16, 2013
Doctors make me shake my head each time they come up with issues like this. When they strike, they obviously kill intentionally... There are those who should never go on strike viz; soldiers, policemen and doctors in the actual sense. Maybe security agencies should go on strike to make these doctors realize that the homes they wish to sit down in could become hell and that service to humanity ought to go beyond satisfaction of oneself. If you ask me, I will tell you that soldiers deserve to be permanently on strike because of how they are treated... My opinion though and still smh.

Foreign AffairsRe: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by boolet: 10:22am On Dec 13, 2013
In my opinion, I think it will be erroneous to place Kwame and Nelson side by side. What Kwame did wasn't in any way greater than what Awo and Zik did. At best, we could regard the trio of Kwame, Awo and Zik as contemporaries. We must not forget that the end of the colonial era in most parts of Africa came to be due to the desire of the elites to 'continue' from where the colonialists stopped. However the anti-apartheid campaign by Nelson as well as other S/Africans was a more genuine undertaking. I cannot remember if Kwame was victimized to the extent of spending the core part of his youth in jail. If you ask me, Nelson was an activist, while Kwame and his Nigerian brothers only wanted the dividends of their exposure to the Western education by being champions over the "illiterate" masses of their people.

FamilyRe: Can A Fiancee Beater Change In A Marriage? by boolet: 1:37pm On Dec 12, 2013
coogar: yes, he can.....

change is constant in life. all these yahoo boys & runs girls would marry one day & their partners would expect them to change. scratch that, they would even embrace changes cos old age & marital maturity would take it's course. if we expect changes in those ones, how is this fiancée abuser any different?
you make sense

To Eastern morning blood
And Western noon flood
To sounds of separation
And the pangs of division.

To the nukes and cartridges
And the hateful messages
To the skates on burning ice
In no way a diplomatic device!

To be a bee or squirt a spree
To sting and send shower pee
To roar, ramble and rave
And dig an impromptu grave!

What is the fate of animal high
When he breathes his last and sigh?

akintaj5: Let me use this opportunity to welcome the new otondos, am sure you are gonna enjoy camp. Iseyin is a nice place, electricity is constant at least. Things to note: Airtel is one of the best networks, go with enough money, cross check your credentials and make photocopies. If you like stress, go early enough and you should get ready to carry your luggage on your head for those that are going on tuesday (if you like carry 10 boxes). Don't travel late cos the road isn't really that good and prone to robbery. For the guyz; don't rush for hostel. Hostels 1 to 4 na die ESPECIALLY HOSTEL 4. The best hostel is hostel 4c and 5 facing the man o war stand. The kitchen food is ok at times and you can also send some of the women washing to buy you food outside cos its cheap. If you can smuggle extension box inside then u would be free of charging your phone with #50 every time. There are women there to wash cloths for you and even fetch water for you provided you pay them. The camp is stress free depending on how you work ur way out. Am sure everybody wants to be posted to ibadan, well if you have accomodation there then go for it. If you want a stress free service year; work ur posting to any public school. If you want money then make sure you serve in the lg cos allowee is constant especially in oyo town and state government might not pay you. To the ladies, no soldier can help u influence ur posting, he would just sleep with u and dats all. Not disputing the fact that we have people that can runs ur posting in camp for you with ur money just like I did during my own days. You are also permitted to go outside the camp to use the ATM upon request cos dem fit steal ur money o. If u have any other question holla at me
Did u participate in camp activities? If not - as I guess - what hiding tactics did you employ?

femmyb: Useless country with useless illiterate Army, camo dat civilians wear freely
all over the world.
I'm sure the army has @ least a few men and women who are bolder, smarter and more disciplined than you are. For you to call your country useless and those pple who fight for ur mouth not to get bombed illiterate... I reserve my comments.
FashionRe: CAMOUFLAGE CLOTHES: Is It Illegal For Civilians In Nigeria?! by boolet: 2:59pm On Apr 03, 2013
OlaAjia: Folly, you say? There is no such thing as dress code for imams in existence, thus there could be no such thing as dressing as am imam. Admittedly, military dress codes do exist, but it is well defined beyond just 'camo', thus wearing camo in and of itself is not neccessarily a violation of the military dress code.

Moreover, you did not answer the question which sought the legality or otherwise of the act.

What I consider folly is passing off the acceptance of oppression and dehumanisation of one's own self as wisdom; and this is perhaps, quite the lucid demonstration on why people remaining oppressed is self indicting; or as has been more eloquently put by Joseph De Maistre, that "Every country has the leadership it deserves".
For all I care, many pple sought d camouflage and went into the military for it. These pple dug it out because they couldn't just buy for it. If anyone believes he wants to wear it at will, let him do likewise. What u regard as dehumanising was the hard prize the valiant and gallant men had to pay with their own sweat, and even blood; did u ever visit a military training institution? Bro, forget about the sentiments... D first thing that comes to mind when one see camouflage is the military, let's leave it to them.
FashionRe: CAMOUFLAGE CLOTHES: Is It Illegal For Civilians In Nigeria?! by boolet: 1:56pm On Apr 03, 2013
Folly is the only excuse for someone to dress an an imam while he's not one. Why would one choose to use military paraphernalia when he/she is not in d military?
