Aliko Dangote: The Stock Market is All about Gambling I will rather use my money to do real business than take it to the gambling market. if u are a good gambler that always win more than loosing then go to the stock market. As for me the real market is where I belong. However after building my companies in the real market I will bring it to the stock market for gambler to gamble on it while my wealth increases

Thanks.

Are you the real aliko dangote or are you just an impersonator?

immanuello: Thank you born2 to be rich,i so much appreciate your response indeed.I also love your quitessential example and elderly role on this thread.More grease to your elbow.More success on our investment theme in year 2014.please i want to ask,do you think buying oando late at 25-26 will not be too expensive and if so,can oando touch #50 or #70 realistically b4 january 24 or before conoco philips deal is sealed.Be free to me,dont worry about anything becos any decision i take base on whatever u may say will be at my discretion.Thank you.

Well Oga Immanuello, first of all na small boy i be o..i no be elder at all ( currently an U17 person)...If you wan see elder na bra emmanuel ewumi side you go look.. cheesy

As for buying Oando, IMO if i have some extra cash now i will still buy some more units as i believe that the deal is already sealed, however, this is risky so it isnt adviseable to buy so much units while we await the conclusion of the aquisition of COP....I bought Oando at N11 and kept on accumulating..I would have continued but you have to keep some money this festive season..i am thinking of getting more units before weekend sha.

immanuello: what do you have to say on this stocks:redstar express, vitafoam, upl, may and baker base on valuations.Meanwhile, born 2 to be rich, mercylicious this is directed to you.when do you just think this bull will enter intermediate bear or corrections or do you just think this will continue through out the next 2 weeks without people taking profit and if it should continued like that then there will soon be a BUBBLE that will soon BURST let us remember what happened in 2007 before the burst of 2008/2009.Although based on my thought i dont see what is fueling the bulls on FIDSON in particular that has a fair result for 2013 q3 with Eps of 25kobo and fyeps maybe30-32kobo as against the projection of 54kobo which i had cut down to btw 30-32kobo becos i just see 54kobo Eps as a means of selling unrealistic take through news. And with this eps this coy can pay atleast 15kobo if they will be paying atleast 50% of year end eps but base on d coy behavior of paying almost all their earnings as dividend as they last year when they paid 12kobo frm 14kobo made. That means they could pay surprisely 18kobo to 20kobo as dividen for year end 2013.So is that what is making the coy bullish even though i know alots of people buying this coy might not know this. But for this stock trading at #2.90 show mr market could just be too drunk sometimes expecially when lots of money is readily available to push a stock price unjustifiable. This same act is also playing on Ubcap, afriprudential bulls as its evidenced that they cant pay less than 10kobo-15kobo as dividend by year end.And looking at what smart Ubcap and Afriprudential mgt did by raising right issue so that they can pay dividend comfortly without them dipping their hands into their reserve or profit and yet people didnt note this smart play on them, hmmm.using "awo abu se abu lalejo".

Sorry my response is coming late...Although i believe mercylicious has answered most of your questions, i would like to add that the bull this season will be longer than usual..why? look at this period before christmas, most people expected the market to drop some weights due to profit takers but it didnt..this bullish trend on the Nigerian stock market is growing stronger and stronger as we move to the end of the year..The beginning of 2014 will be good for investors but i advise constant monitoring and caution..

Kindly read this for more info: http://www.proshareng.com/news/21851

To the bolded on Fidson, yes, but IMO the bull will still push this one up to N3 and beyond as the stock looks strong at the moment...As for redstar and Vitafoam, honestly i have never studied or looked at those stocks but may and baker will move up most likely due to sentiments this period..Sorry i cant type much..

Enjoy.

I want to congratulate everybody as i can see that most stocks are in the green becos of the arrival of the bull, however, please i would like to appeal to every one here especially Bigass and Dumexoga, kindly refrain from using harsh, insultive and provocative words...This is a forum i believe matured people are in to make money, be friends and analyse the stock market...We are all from different family backgrounds so please lets control our emotions and try to live as one..If you have been following this forum, you will see that we try to keep our emotions in check and respect each others opinions..

Once there is peace and unity, we will always make money...Please everyone lets learn to control our emotions ok..

I still wish every member a bullish season as we gradually enter to 2014..

Religion / Re: Greatest Religion Section Quotes ( sticky) by Born2beRich1(m): 8:49am On Dec 31, 2013
Honestly, i give this credit to joel lala.. he has really tackled some tough atheists here and this one, he tackled logicboy and ooman to the ground in respect to evolution..

joel lala:

Ok then, please it will do your ego well if you could explain the following below...Please ensure that you give reasonable answers, no beating about the bush or talking gibberish.

Contradictions:

1. From the concept of evolution, evolution says that animals evolved as they progressed the evolutionary scale, so, If man evolved from apes like you said, why is the so called inferior ape family still existing till today?...Why haven't they evolved totally.? or did evolution forget some species?

2. How come the modern apes we have around today have no fossil record or did they just spring out of thin air?

3. If humans actually came from apes, then where did apes come from? ( ps:i need a sensible answer here)...Remember you said it is impossible for something to come out of nothing.

4. If evolution is claiming as you believed, that life itself emerged as a result of pure coincidence and natural phenomenon, then explain to us here the origin of life with that pure chance or coincidence.

5. Why is there no specific evidence for a biological change in the brain structure since your so called Homo sapiens appeared in the fossil records many years ago?

6. It has been discovered/ exposed in 1953, the hoax your white master tried to use to deceive the masses to accept evolution concept..The hoax involved some scientist that tried connecting human and ape bones together and was artificially aged to draw up an apelike missing link and presented to the press (Insert from link: The significance of the specimen remained the subject of controversy until it was exposed in 1953 as a forgery, consisting of the lower jawbone of an orangutan deliberately combined with the skull of a fully developed modern human.).. Read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piltdown_Man

7. If man evolved from apes, then why don't we have the hypothetical ape-like ancestor, the real missing link? Atleast there should be some evidence of it.

8. It has been discovered recently that the fossils records available actually shows a distinct and separate origin for apes and human beings..So why is there no evidence linking man to the apelike creature you want us to believe in.

9. I want to ask, what actually can you give as an explanation that caused evolution to produce modern human beings with a distinctively highly specialized brain all of a sudden?

Please give sensible answers.

and,

joel lala:

As long as you believe you evolved from apes, you are and will continue to be a white man's slave..

As long as you continue to use the white man's theory or concept to counter religious beliefs or theories, you will also be ensnared by your white masters..if you dont want to be enslaved by the white man, then look for and use our very own african theories to prove christianity/islam as false...
