davide470: I have watched the trend of conversations and I noticed nobody talks about the "big boys", always making the weekly Top 5 stockbrokers by NSE ~ FBN Securities, RenCap Sec., CSL, et al.. Abi nobody here can afford them? Just asking o Will they agree to purchase just the usual 2,000units of C and I leasing for me? 1 Like |

vgirl: Hi guys! i have been an following this thread αϞ∂ reading the whole post αϞ∂ have benefited a great deal. i need. Help as my stock broker , has sold my 120,000 units of Transcopr shares without my authority. Ireally want to nail this broker as most of you will not be surprised if i name the broker. i need some to advise me how to approach SEC. Can you imagine? That broker needs to be locked up. i wont be surprised if he sold your units and bought them for himself pending when transcorp might release their Q2result. You can go ahead and mention the broker if you wish but also ensure you go to the broking firm tomorrow if posible and demand that your shares be bought back at the exact value you had before or else you report them to SEC. SEC is now on twitter because of the rising issue of these fraudulent brokers. dont let the broker get away and always make sure you give us a feedback daily to enable us direct you until you recover your investment. Enjoy. 3 Likes |

Chibuking81: good information, thanks for that, I find out that my stockbroker charges me upto 2% at each purchase, within the new week, I will go ahead with the Morgan online account opening, pls I need two more information about the morgan account opening, 1. must I put the exact date for my bank account opening date, as am yet to know the exact date from my bank, 2. How will I pay #50,000 minimum opening amount, can I do that via ATM fund transfer? once again, thanks. Your own is good. There was one of my brokers that was charging me about 7%. Now he is on the run and i will make sure i bring him totally to the ground. I am just giving him time because of the employees, they better start looking for another work as i will ensure that broking firm is closed down. 4 Likes |

Religion / Re: Pastor Makes Members Eat Grass by Born2beRich1(m): 6:17pm On Jan 10, 2014 |
I thought it was only Nigerians that are highly gullible in respect to religion but now i can see that the Black man in general is totally blinded by these sets of dubious people..Why would God want us to eat grass? black man is so gullible that they even allowed the pastor to be walking on their bodies..SMH BTW, there is one lady from southafrica that is always posting negative things about Nigerian pastors on nairaland by writing long epistles...I wonder what she will say about her own south african pastor now. |

Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Born2beRich1(m): 11:21am On Jan 10, 2014 |
T-john: I really feel for you but one thing i have learnt is never buy a stock when it is on a run..i have noticed on several occasions when clients want to make a stock purchase..If the stock is on high bid or is moving, some brokers wont buy for you, rather they tell you it isnt available then they go ahead to either buy for themselves or finally fulfill your purchase order at a higher price by offloading theirs on your head.. Take japaul for example, it was on high bid for some time, i quickly gave a purchase order but when i was told that it wasnt available by my broker and i checked the price, immediately i told them to cancel the order for japaul and added more money to it to purchase more units of oando on mon/tuesday which was done.. I have learnt several things in this market and one is BUY LOW SELL HIGH, second one is to never chase a speeding stock train for you could get run down by it..It is always advisable to board and balance in the train/bus before it takes off.. My 2kobo thoughts |

gosj: True..thats why i am seriously waiting at the N0.50k to N0.54K junction to matchette this stock.. |
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Born2beRich1(m): 2:15pm On Jan 09, 2014 |

Well because people dont have sufficient information about what japaul does doesnt mean that they dont have information about the market..You only make enquiries on stocks you are interested in buying/investing..We all know Japaul will gain very soon but not they type of rally we expect in the likes of FO, conoil etc..it is good that the knwoledge gap concerning japaul has been reduced as we now know that they are into oil bunkering.. **still looks for stone to sharpen cutlass** |
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Born2beRich1(m): 1:10pm On Jan 09, 2014 |
gosj: megainvest: ^ It's really a matter of risk. Some people were waiting for Oando at N20 just yesterday and suddenly boom!!! It was actually a joke i learnt from oga 9free (as per mentor thingz).. But i see japaul coming down further before any increase in price.. Also you have to ask yourself, how many people even know that Japaul is into Oil Bunkering business becos if not that Oga megainvest posted it, i can assure you many of us here, myself inclusive, didnt know Japaul was into bunkering, so it might take some time before sentiments on this news comes to play...My 5kobo thoughts Ooo.( remember that i might be wrong though) **looks for stone to sharpen cutlass** |

gosj: Hi everyone in the house? What is pushing Japaul oil? High vol of trade still ending on bid, why? What is pushing japaul oil IMO is nothing but market sentiments in the oil sector of the nse...people that didnt enjoy the rally in FO, Conoil, mrs and oando have decided to take positions in this stock (and likely eterna) with a believe of an imminent rally..as at last week friday japaul was scarce as i contacted a broker about the stock..however, i foresee profit takers coming in soon.. |
