It's has this earphone symbol stuck on the screen like I have earphones plugged in.
I can't recieve calls now without using one app to switch manually out of earphones mode.

It's so annoying.
I cleaned the earphone jack, but no solution still.

Anyone had an experience?

I would also try inserting a xiaomi or Samsung earphone , tinker with it a little, then restart the phone.

So these operators were defrauding the society and the nation by charging consumers VAT, by deducting Withholding Tax and not remitting on behalf of other taxpayers. We had over 3,000 of such and we said if they do not come forward, we’d follow the law and do what they call substitution.

Everyday for the thief, one day for the owner.
You deduct money as VAT and Withholding Tax yet, you refuse to remit the thing to federal government. Your case na strong one.

By the way, we need software or app for people to monitor their VAT and Withholding tax deduction and remittance to the government. That will cut out these sharp practices.

Still on the Face ID and touch ID stuff (sorry if the matter already died )........... I just found out that WhatsApp on iOS supports it but not yet on Android

Not without a few issues though.

Me thinks these developers should find better problems to solve instead of focusing on authentication. Like I said before, our regular FP scanners already unlock in milliseconds. I wonder why they are trying to make it better when there are other problem areas to focus on.

If they continue like this, one day they will make phone with two notch on the middle left and right side of the screen, giving the phone a figure 8 display. And they will call it trendy while adding extra 50k on top.

And na this kind people dey sabi owe salary.

My only explanation for this is greed.

I wouldn't know, I've not used an in display FP scanner before, but I still think that conventional FP scanners are still better and more useful.

Conventional FP scanners unlock in milliseconds
Our eyes blink in milliseconds.

Anything extra is just a tiny jara but yet you get to pay tens of thousands more for something that doesn't give any substantial extra value.

exactly, you get my train of thought, these smartphone manufacturers just be jumping up and down, trading functionlaity and practicality for trends and looks. Well Mi9 has a "fast" UD FP reader but I still don't see the need for it.

Btw aside unlocking your phone, what else can you use your Fingerprint scanner for?

Aside from unlocking my phone, I use my fingerprint scanner to sign in to certain apps e.g, Access Mobile. I also use it to unlock apps I have locked with app lock. Wondering how all of this will work with in display fingerprint scanner. I mean, would it still show the fingerprint icon to prompt you or the in display uses another interface entirely.... ..........

Why can't I change radio stations on the lock screen or on the notifications pane in the FM radio app?

That feature is common place on stock Android.

Not everyone listens to internet radio.

Hi guys please I need some help. I just updated my redmi 5a to MIUI 10 and the camera has stopped working. I've cleared both data and cache and rebooted the phone but it's still the same. I really don't want to do a factory reset because that in itself is not guaranteed.

Are you using the default camera app? Update Google play services.
Also try another camera app from the play store and update whatever camera app you are using.

A quick search on Gsmarena and i can see that it's virtually a Nokia 2.1 with a smaller screen and battery.

It's not extra-ordinary beside the Nokia competition which also does have band 28. I think it's just best to rule out the Redmi Go completely. It's a hard sell.

Assuming all the specs posted by Gsmarena arena here are all accurate, the Nokia 2.1 released last May seems better than the Redmi Go at that price point.

But it is only the US/Latin America version of Nokia 2.1 that has band 28. The EMEA version which we are most likely to receive here doesn't have it.

Also, the Redmi go seems better on paper in the camera section and the price might go lower in the coming days.

Is it possible to request transfer of your package from one post office to another?

I have a package that has been sent to the post office closest to my former address. But I have changed address and it will be challenging to go pick up the package from where it is currently located.

My point here is; Xiaomi already has several lines of brands that cater to the budget-friendly users, so why release a phone that comes with 1gb of RAM, 8gb of internal storage, 8mp camera and priced at 80$...
The whole point of Android Go was to provide the Android experience to phones with low-end specifications but this just crossed that line and went lower, this is frigging 2019 who's gonna enjoy a 1gb RAM Phone (probably with MIUI installed). Some apps don't have the Go/lite version.

I don't think it has MIUI. If anything it might only have a few MIUI features.
