Gov. Wike you be man. Gov Akeredolu, you be man. (Aketi himself). All the southern govs., my kudos to you. Anyone fighting for fair, just and progressive Nigeria has my support. God bless Nigeria. |
This is a question of income and a person's life goals or desires. This will happen at the point you realize that your life goals don't tally with salary jobs. Nobody go tell you to quit after that. Naa you gan gan go japa and pursue another level of income, because you will be filled with enough fire inside to pursue your life dreams and goals, which most times salary can't affords (except you are getting sth more than your salary from the employment, hence you will stay put. This theory applies to all govt work in 9ja and some other privates jobs too). The simple truth is just that every good desires, goals, dreams we have got are all possible. It just takes efforts, focus, time (process). The question is can you afford the time (process)? Intentional patience is not our thing in 9ja. |
Hmm. |
Nice post! Kudos Op! |
It shouldn't take rocket science to understand that each sector of the economy relates. Maybe, our govt is the only one that doesn't have people there that don't understand, with all the money they are collecting. Na wah o. 2 yrs count-down Sha. |

Greetings GOAT. One of the sports professional per excellence. We would miss his entertaining performance this time. Get well soon. |
(A) The best work-life-balance is to work for yourself. You work at your pace, pay and time. (B) And, if need be that you work for someone else or a company, let it be for (1) the experiences needed in order to start your own (2) for a ridiculous pay that will help your career path. It is until you get the (A & B) right, that your family life will benefit greatly. |
Fed govt. Should spare Twitter. The company follows it's policy irrespective of the account owner. For an account to be suspended or a tweet to be deleted, there must be sufficient report on such. Kanu post was not deleted earlier because alot of people were not reporting the abuse to Twitter. And, it was later deleted, because people had pointed out the abuse in the tweet. Baba buhari tweet was quickly deleted because it was sufficiently reported. Twitter should know that present govt in Nigeria, on every issue, emotions have beclouded their sense of objective thinking. The obvious and the right steps to be taken are always left as the last option or discarded. My advise to twitter is to continue to discharge their policy without favor and equitably to all. If they maintain that standard, they are going to survive any storm and even thrive in the years to come: simply because, they are the real voice of the voiceless. They have broken the barriers in reaching our leaders directly. |
Nice one! |
One needs to leave a job for a work. Job is what you do for others, earning a living. Work is what you do for yourself, earning a living. You can multiply your pay when you work for yourself and also be your own boss. Learning and mastering a skill-set is the starting point to life of financial freedom. Skills are in levels. Just go for the ones you could accept it's risk and you have interest in. If you don't like the job you have and life is hard at present, don't be in a hurry, just plan for your exit. In 2016! I quit my job without plan b to focus on a skill-set. Today, am super glad I took the the decision. Only depressing jobs are around now, except you work for yourself. |
Alot of contradictions in the Universe. Our neighbor planet, Venus is a world of fire and heat. Here on Earth, ours is a world water and ice. Kudos to this kind of research o. We need to know what is happening there, in case something similar could happen to earth and plan ahead. Black race, where are we? What are we bringing on board o? If we want respect and equality, this is the kind of thing we need to show up for and be counted. |
I thought we had recorded zero deaths many weeks before? What is happening again? Lord have mercy o! In addition, kudos to our frontline health workers all over the world. You are the real MVP. Kudos to science and those in the lab having sleepless nights toiling to get us the vaccines and make this virus 'death warrant' pass over the human race. You are the real GOAT. Gracias, we are grateful. |
What else would you expect from a region that believes education is 'haram'? And never commits their kids to sound development of their mind, except sending them to quranic centres 'Almajiri' centre. They only see the world with one colour 'bias' sense: religion. Anyways, Dem no they tell blind man, e dey rain for outside. Maybe, this experiences will help them realize the critical values of 'western' education for development and peace, both for each one of them and their region. I see this as the root of their challenges over there. |
Ahhh! Nigeria ti k'eran m'ero. May God help us! |

The most forward looking submission I hv ever come across in a while. Unfornatetly for for us in Africa, we are divested from reality. We wud see a problem starring us in our face, instead to get appropriate solutions tht exist somewhere already and applied, naa so so spiritual solution we go dey find upandan. Who dey do us? Who tell us say naa only spiritual problem we get? All over the world they are deploying scientific & technological solutions and they are advancing forward. Progress and prosperity will always elude africa, except we embrace research & development and deploy science & technology as a way to solving our problems. Kudos guy. Jlow2: |

I never thought I will ever come across somebody, particularly a female, with much understanding of the issues with our mentality/cultural practices that has kept us in poverty/under-development in 9ja and africa. Abi, naa outside 9ja u dey live? Lolz! For any development/progress/success etc ( be it personal or general) to happen, process always preceeds the result. You can't get any success that will be worthwhile and long-lasting in your life with wishful thinking, luck, star, sooth-saying, and even prayer(yes, 9ja kind of prayer, lolz), except through the process needed. You wanted to become something great in 10yrs, you have to be committed to the process now. keep sowing the seed of wilfull practice & keep improving. Very soon, you will be where you intended. You can't usurp the process. Everything around us respects that principle, it is only us, humans, that is drowning in confusion about it. Poverty is as a result of subverting the process of how to get rich. What is the principle for getting rich? Finding solutions to problems/challenges and Service to humanity. There you have it. The tougher the problem you are investing your time, energy and brain power to solve (solution provider) plus the more the people you are thinking about to solve their problem (service to humanity), the richer you will get. Simple. it will always work, forever. So, put your ideas cap on, there-in lies the money. Unfortunately, in Africa, our idea of how to get rich get k-leg. People will tell you that you can't get rich except you do illegal stuff. I don't think anyone on Forbes list will accept that theory too. Again, our movies and musics re-inforces this cultural practices, ( in movies, solutions are always from herbalist, pastors, alfas or one magical events. Also, the themes of most of our movies are about voodoos, magic, diabolical stuffs, witches, wizards, wickedness, all manner of curses, somebody somewhere is behind your ill-luck, mediocrity, luck and stars. You will hardly see a movie that celebrate excellence, highlight ideas, focus, diligence, or top top-notch services or research that results in success. It is always one herbalist, babalawo, or priest that usually has the royal message that will bring success) hence, we seems to be kept in circle of seeking clairvoyance for solutions. The truth is clairvoyance, sooth-saying and the likes will NEVER bring true and lasting progress and prosperity. Abi, with all the 'Powers' these people claimed they have, tell me, which continent is the most backward and poorest? Our eyes go clare one day sha. However, there is aboundance of happiness, progress, prosperity in the universe, only for those that follows the principles that attract aboundance. OP, as you have stated, if our cultural practices refuse to reinforce the right principles and processes that will bring true prosperity and happiness, those that depends on that cultural practices for lessons and direcrion are doomed. I will like to chat with you outside this forum op. Thanks. Nice write-up. Peace and victory. |
