Gammfreak: This people are not serious. Most private universities are already in 2020/2021 session, some serious public universities are already in second semester to resume 2020/2021 session b4 April. If a university is serious, they will definitely meet up b4 the end of next year.
For OAU to cancel that year, I wonder what's the fate of those that wrote Jamb that year. Well, ThankGod each universities are free to bring their decision, and not a general factor for all schs. So its their headache abeg nothing will happen to them. there will be no opportunity to choose oau should jamb conduct exam this year |

Family › Re: Who Builds A Nation; The Man Or Woman ? by bottlewater1(op): 11:56am On Jan 02, 2021 |
FinianIb: Hello, good morning. I think the answer to your question are men. Men are the foundation. Let's use a building as an example; when you see a building or rather a mansion, firstly you admire the paint, design, walls, windows etc, but you never take note of the foundation, whereas without that (strong) foundation, those beautiful things you are seeing won't stand. In as much as the most important part of every building is its foundation same with family (here the foundations are the fathers) same also with a nation. Men are the most significant and important people in a nation, they determine how it's gonna be. There's this saying I tell people: if you wanna know how a family is, check the father, if you wanna know how a country is check the men. Take a look at Nigeria; if you wanna know how the nation is and how it'll be, it's very simple, describe the men in high places in a sentence, the nation is a reflection of the kind of people they are. You can also look at USA, China, Egypt, Iraq,UAE, infact look at all(nations).... I'd have loved to go further but let me stop here for now. If you (OP) have any opposition to this, pls drop your comment, I'd try to explain in best ways I can. Thanks. Happy New Year to you too! well articulated sir |

Nairaland General › Re: How Did You Overcome Your Chronic Procrastination?. by bottlewater1(m): 11:04am On Dec 21, 2020 |
I think the best way to overcome procrastination is GO AND START
have been teaching for a while now, I plan starting my school after my service (that was 2017) in other to start the school I want to raise some funds which is normal and safe. so I applied to a school in ajah, Lagos the proprietress told me GO AND START YOUR OWN. I stayed with her for months then relocated to ife for msc this is 2020 I have not started yet. but this year two months ago I learnt what the meaning of go and start is. whatever your idea is please pick a date for your start up whether you have money or not pick the date start working towards it. read books and gather other people experience start reasoning like you have started the business already with that you can overcome procrastination. don't be so comfortable or be among people who will make you feel better than your dreams |

Nairaland General › Common Ways Or Sign To Note If A Lady Will Reject You by bottlewater1(op): 11:53am On Nov 25, 2020 |
Incase you have tried to woo some girls and they seem not to cooperate and you are feeling dejected, loosing your feet and thinking everything is wrong about you. See, there is nothing wrong with you, what is possibly wrong is that you are asking out the wrong girls. In other words, if they had accepted your proposal, they go just chop your money that's if you have and still leave you. For you to settle this case of getting a girl for a relationship you need to watch signs for a possible yes or no. Here, I had some chat with my friends we come up with many signs that a girl will show you if she doesn't want you and once you see any of the signs bro come down and enter another bus. I feel like sharing this few signs which are the common ones. I decided to share the information here if it will help a nigga. The following are the signs but this signs are not orderly arranged: 1. She doesn't ask about you and your plans 2. She doesn't show special care or concerns for you 3. She doesn't ask for your opinion 4. She don't initiate chat with you 5. She don't ask for your help 6. She doesn't offer to assist you in any way 7. If her talks are selfish 8. She doesn't talk about relationship or ask you about yours 9. She doesn't want to be around you unless she is bored and she needed to talk to anybody 10. She is playing hard to get for you. See no girl is hard to get she doesn't want you that's all. 11. She doesn't talk about family either yours or hers 12. If you have a little disagreement with her boom fight don set 13. She doesn't respect you. Respect is not just claiming seniority but showing regards for someone's presence and contribution 14. If she mocks you directly or indirectly. 15. If her friends doesn't respect you 16. If she doesn't pick your calls 17. If she doesn't reply your text asap even while on line 18. If she makes excuses
The list is long. You too can add yours
But I prefer this part, if you finally find a girl who truly loves you and stick to you when you are hustling nigga hold her tight there are few of them that remain and please take good care of her more especially when you hammer.
May God bless our hustle |
