segcymoor:8m deep piles inside 10" casing |
segcymoor:No reason cos I see no importance unless you give me a cogent reason why it should be done other keeping the reinforcement free from dirt and prevent the same from puncturing the damp proof membrane. We have already taken care off these. The reinforcement are never in contact with the DPM.

Foundation Design When Nature Gets in the Way Piles are deep foundation solutions used to secure new or repair existing foundations. They are most commonly used whenever soil conditions prevent standard foundation solutions. Instead of having to do large excavation work or preparing a 2.4 - 3m deep raft foundation, piles are threaded into the ground in shortest time, with little soil disturbance, and most importantly help transfer the weight of the structure to load bearing soil. Follow us as we build our project in Awoyaya town, Ibeju/Lekki Lagos.

5th Annual Affordable Housing Projects - Singapore Housing the nation has always been a challenge for Governments around the world. Issues of affordable housing are vital for countries with growing population and escalating housing prices. Attend the 5th Annual Affordable Housing Projects to examine the critical issues facing the housing industry, explore how the housing sector can grow in the context of an economic crisis and how to deliver more with less, thereby taking advantage of the unprecedented opportunities in this sector. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the line-up of key international speakers and to network with a very niche and targeted group of delegates from across the world. http://affordablehousingprojectslse.marcusevans.com/EventDetails.asp?EventID=20758&PageID=520 |
Just picture updates. Final check prior to casting of the slab coming later today. Also the rough-in plumbing work will happen today.

Parapet thingy

babaeko1:There are million reason to go for Aluminium parapet system over concrete fascia. 1. Weight - think of how much load is added unto a structure when you do concrete fascia as compared with the lightness of Aluminium system. This means you can choose to have a parapet system on a small bungalow even without pillars. 2. Adaptability - there are many people who wish they can take off their roofs and install a parapet system in order to facelift a very boring design. With Aluminium parapet system, facelifting an old house with fascia boards is much easier as all you have to do is to remove the fascia boards and install the parapet system without the need to remove the roofs or perform any structural modification to the building. Isn't that good enough? 3. Neat and Perfect Installation - I don't know how to explain this but Aluminium parapet system comes in different range of designs to choose from. If you're a DIYer, someone who like stressfree installation, a buy-and-fix setup then Aluminium parapet system is right for you. But if you are comfortable dealing with iron benders, carpenters, casters, labourers, material suppliers and all other artisans then concrete parapet is equally good. More reasons to choose Aluminium system over concrete later on this thread tonight. I need to drive now |
