Try another person, collect quotes from various sources and go for the best.

This won’t solve his problem.

Give him a free plan. We will provide him free estimates and details of reputable suppliers within Ogun state.

With that in hand, he can successfully manage the project without worries.

That’s how to solve a problem.

The project is 100% owner-managed with the owner acting as the General Contractor picking subtrades, suppliers and workmen he like to do the job.

A rough quote for foundation only,

The cost is too much.

Let’s assume your foundation is 75ft or 23m long. Putting each room at 15ft (4.5m) x 15ft (4.5m) and the store at 20ft x (6m)

You’ll only require 1,000 block for 1m high foundation.

Unless the land is on a steep slope, or maybe the rooms are twice bigger, you can never use up 1200 block on that small project.

Block is sold 230 - 250 in Ogun state which means the engineer gave you estimate for 2,000 blocks. That’s average of 400 - 500 blocks per room

It’s not possible! At least not in Ogun state.

The roof is most likely reinforced concrete slab with brick finish.

More like it.

I was going to mention exposed beam ceiling but the clay tiles finish on the ceiling gave a clue it’d be reinforced concrete.

As you’re ordering your tiles, you must also consider the trowel size to use as per manufacturers recommendation.

This is something you’d also find interesting. There’s specification for notch trowel usage.

Ask any tiler out there, what size of trowel is he using, he’d just tell you “Oga, that one no mean. I go put cement well well.”

I found this on the sack. The manufacturer didn’t ask me to use the adhesive to fill potholes

so you are saying its +/-N1k for 10 so N5k for 50kg, almost same as Dangote cement and we wont need sand

A bag is 20kg and it’s sold N2,000.

A 20kg bag of tiles adhesive according to the *manufacturer will cover 5sqm and you won’t need sand.

A 50kg bag of OPC according to the *manufacturer will cover 4 - 5sqm and you I’ll still need sand.
