These 2 statements are not the same and the misrepresentation is glaring. The 2nd statement about doing woodwork suggests the woodwork in that pic is somehow connected to getting to the pic in the 1st statement but that is completely inaccurate.

The pic in the 2nd statement has nothing to do with the pic in the 1st statement. The 2nd pic woodwork is typically used overhead and not for storage. The 1st pic is obviously to act as a storage cover for something below or at ground level.

In addition, the 1st statement clearly states that you are working on a project and that statement was made to sound like the pic is from your project.

I understand the question and I gave the right answer but the screenshot below should help though.

If it was me I’d have asked “Is this your work?” and not “Is this project in Nigeria?” So I'm not responsible for the misrepresentation.

I had to take it over and give each wire its dedicated hole. When I did he retorted are you happy now?

Some of these guys know what to do, but visual appeal is none of their business.

Same reason I opted for those silver plate with red monitor light socket faceplates made by ABB, and when they said, not in stock, I said I will wait till Monday. The white does the job, but the silver faceplates are more visually appealing and will match with my intended interior wall colors.

At the end of this exercise, he told me he likes things plain. So be sure the guy you are employing cares about not just function but both form and function.

I recently did a surface wiring in a clients house. The electrician asked me to bring fund for trunk pipes. I smiled and told him “I have what I’m going to use for this part of the job. It’s not the regular trunk but something that’ll blend with the building aesthetics and it’ll still be the dreaded surface wiring.”

I’m currently doing some window where embedded burglar proof design is not viable. So we are doing standalone burglary that is openable.

Take for instance, having an embedded burglar proof in a window where subframe is installed makes no sense as the only thing holding the window and the burglar proof is just the piece of screw used to fasten it to the subframe and that can be easily removed.

I’m currently managing offline a clear case of fraud between a client and supplier here. The client has been handling the situation with maturity and respect.

But at the end, try to fix the roof as soon as you can.

A few months of exposure to rain and sun cannot have serious adverse effect on your build. Just try to get the water to flow off and not pool on the floor.
