Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State has congratulated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for picking the Presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2019 general elections.

The very Philippians 4 you quoted did not stop there. Verse 19 said "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus' I am sure your bible has that part.

You still do not know the theme of Christianity. But let me give you a hint : Christianity is not about riches and wealth ; it is about contentment in what you have(Matthew 6:25-26, Philippians4:12-13) ; it is about salvation from perdition: the love of Christ dying for me and every other person ; God dying for us that we may be saved from a written judgment(Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23). The Christianity the bible preaches does not say I should seek wealth ; it says I should seek God and His kingdom (Matthew 6:33)

]If Christianity is just about the letter, you have been deceived. You need to read the letter and embrace the spirit which gives life. I am not wealth drunk mind you. Neither do I run after money. Having money is not the root of evil. The love of money is. We are saved to gain the dominion God gave humanity and not to be mentally tied to the deception demonising wealth.
You are not out of facts but Christianity is not meant to be done in misery.
Let us draw the line. Maybe you are thinking mo one can be wealthy and be righteous at the same time. That is not true.
What I think you should probe is the origin of the wealth of Christians and how they righteously spend the God-given wealth helping people. I was in Israel in 2015 and I entered the church of covenant where the ark of covenant rested for 20years in Kiryat Ye'arim . There I made a promise to sponsor as many people as God empowers me to come to Israel on pilgrimage. Don't ask me how many I have sponsored yet but worry about how God keep blessing me to do that. It is a kingdom commitment.
It is an error to say
christians are not meant to be rich. You would be crucifying Christ the second time if he is to die again for you to understand that He already gave you the glory God has given Him. I am not saying we shouldn't work out our salvation with fear and trembling but you must do so from the stand point of grace and not works. This consciousness of being poor to get to heaven is a pointer to the works of self righteousness. You have to learn to come down from the throne of your heart.
These men of God have a humble beginning that will awe you. That you don't know it doesn't mean they woke up into wealth. Many have sort first the kingdom of God and are still seeking its righteousness. The blessings are the all other things added that you have now seen.
They may have their own pitfalls. They are men before the God inclusion just like you should identify your own little foxes and deal with them. That is the part of working out your salvation with fear and trembling and not whitewashing the understanding you don't have. I wont like to continue this discussion here. I only wish there is another platform to discuss this. Just stop demonising wealth and those who have it because your are scared of wealth and righteousness.
My prayer is that you and I make heaven but please as you are praying to be poorer, keep praying for me to be richer on my way to heaven. I can handle wealth and righteousness if you are scared of it.

If I may ask you, what currency do they spend in heaven? Haven't you read that Jesus said 'in my Father's house, there are many mansions there' John 14:2, and that the streets of heaven are laid with gold? Revelation 21. The riches you are to store up in heaven is your spiritual wealth and reward for your work in God's vineyard. According to John 14:2, Jesus has gone to prepare a place for you and i already.
God must have been so wrong blessing those whom He choses to bless from your thinking. My mindset is not carnal. I understand the scriptures and God's purpose for humanity on earth. Poverty starts from the mindset before it infects the man himself. I do not worship any man of God but I chose to dissociate from the gospel of being poor because we are chasing heaving. It is not a sin to be rich and be a.christian. Jesus had a rich ministry. Wealth is of God. He blessed His sons so they can be a blessing to others. If you want to start getting rich, be a blessing to people and if you want to getting rich, stop blessing others. Stop demonising it or attacking wealth or those who are rich because you have been programmed by a doctrine to believe such. Indeed, some men can be blinded by their wealth and chose to forsake God. That should however not be the reason to generalise. There are a thousand and one reasons for everyman not to make heaven. The mindset is man's greatest pitfall. Once the devil has it polluted, the battle is almost lost. God's people perish for lack of wisdom. That is why the bible told us to constantly renew our mind. God is dynamic. Do not be too rigid. Jesus, Paul and others would have spread the gospel by using jets and fastest airline to travel the whole world and I bet you would have castigated them all the same. Bro, just keep praying for me to be richer. I have souls to touch for God, including yours.

You have not given any scripture to verify your claim . Now allow me show you with ample proof that the focus of riches are not apart of Christ. Matthew 6:20: "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal." Also see this one : Mark 10:25: In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!"...or how about the this one : Matthew 19:21:Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure". So ask yourself sincerely if these men are doing what Jesus commanded from this scriptures?

[b]2 Cor 8:9 (Jesus became poor so we can be rich),3 John 2 (God wants me to prosper and be in health),Proverbs 10:22 (blessings of the Lord makes rich without sorrow). These are verses from the bible and not the quran or any other book. These verses should open your eyes to the fact that God wants you wealthy. In fact, He sends wealth the way of His children. I can see you have a problem with wealth. I chose to be heavenly conscious and earthly relevant. Being rich is not a crime as a christian. God wouldn't have blessed Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and other patriarchs of faith if wealth is a sin. I am not a Christ Embassy member but i can testify that even the Federal Government does not give a tenth of what Christ Embassy gives to the society through their mission arm. I know Mountain of Fire does the same. I don't know if you or your church/mosque does that. Stop judging a book by its cover. You don't know what financial sacrifices these men are paying. That they do not blow their trumpets does not mean they are who your mindset has programmed you to see. You only see their blessings and it is like you are jealous of it. You need to shake yourself out of the shackles of the mentality of the pharisees and the Sadducee. Money is not the root of all evil. Love of money is. That you don't have it yet does not mean you can't have it forever. Honor those whom God has blessed with it. Don't envy them. If the disciples could suggest to him if they were to take money from the purse and feed 5,000 men(Mark 6:37), they had the money to do that. Mind you, feeding 5,000 men(without counting children and women) would cost them about the wage of 200 workers.
More so, Jesus was not dressed as a beggar. If He had worn a rag the day He was killed, the soldiers wouldn't have caste lot to share his garment.
Jesus rode on a donkey, and boats. The disciples traveled by boats and ships. these were the commonest and available means of traveling then. With the passion by which they were spreading the gospel all over the world that time, I bet they would have traveled by the fastest airline and jets if they had their ministries this time
It is not a crime for anyone to be rich. I bet you would have mocked any man of God who wears rag.
If anyone of them is not upright before God, He alone can judge them. It is not in any man's place to judge them lest the judgment of Miriam and Aaron fall on any. [/b]

I was in Canaan of Galilee where Jesus turned water into wine. The venue of the marriage is still preserved till date and the pots used in providing wine is as tall as a man. That is to tell you that the wedding event was a societal wedding yet Jesus attended.
Besides, I am sure the celebrity pastors are closer to Jesus than you are.

That is why British and American curricular excel over Nigerian curriculum. They test understanding and ability to creatively apply learnt concepts while Nigerian curriculum test for knowledge and ability to clone what you have been taught

I was in Israel once and I know what a typical Israeli look like, my doubt over all these claims is that 'how much have we (Ibos or Yorubas) evolved over a long time to have diluted our gene pool so much that we have lost total DNA relationship with our alleged Israeli root?' History and cultural evidences are not enough. DNA test will lay all doubts to rest.
Lastly, God will not punish you for not being an Israeli or bless you for being one. My pilgrimage made me understand that a lot of aged Israelites are in wheel chairs. Being an Israeli is not a sure bet to blessing from God. Your identity in Christ is

In Genesis 22, when Onan, the second son of Judah spilled his semen on the ground because he did not want to raise a child (surrogate child) for his brother and God struck him dead because what he did displeased God.
In Matthew 22, Jesus gave a story to emphasize that surrogacy was a common practice and God was not mad about it, in fact, He supported it and struck the brothers who wouldn't raise kids for their dead brother.
It is however a matter of moral and sanity that we do not drag God into matters concerning into matters relating to our human thoughts and theological divides. If you are confused about a matter, take it to God or go to your pastor. Opinions of e-Christians and e-people could have a damaging effect on your faith.

I totally agree. Nurses and some female doctors are not nice at all. Female police are rude and mean too. I am beginning to think that rudeness and professionalism is actually a gender thing. More professional females are more rude than their male counterparts.
