Found throughout the world, most kissing bugs are no threat to humans besides an abnormally painful bite; however, several species that inhabit Central and South America transmit a dangerous disease called Chagas disease. Even without treatment, mortality rates are low from Chagas disease, but the widespread nature of the parasitic infection means that even the five percent death rate causes between 12,000-15,000 deaths per year from organ failure resulting from the parasitic infection.

7. HIPPOPOTAMUS
Hippo is a large semiaquatic herbivorous mammal that is mainly seen on land at night.

This animal is deadly when in water during the day, this animal when angered always swim across the water body knocking down any object on the water surface. Many fishermen and travellers on the water surface have perished because of this animal. Or at night, this animal roam free around the water body it lives in, anybody or any animal that will be roaming around and come into its vision will meet its death instantly.

The hippo too is a destroyer to plants, it always destroys any plant and crop that comes its the way due to its phenomenal size and strength. This has made this animal very dangerous to both plants and fellow animals.

8. LION
This is the king of the jungle, if it were to have the same mental capability as man, then man would be extinct by now.

A lion (Panthera leo) is a mammal that is cat-like but bigger with a muscular body, rounded head and a hairy tuft at the end of its tail. They are sexually dimorphic, adult male is always larger compared to the females.

This animal never feeds on grass, you understand what I mean? It is a carnivore with all the adaptations including carnassial teeth that help it to grip the prey.

To elaborate on how dangerous this animal is, there was an incident where a troop escaped from the zoo parks and invaded a nearby village, people lost their lives and livestock were killed leaving the village in a quagmire state.

The lions are apex predators, who keep populations of other animals in check, as nature is afterall a fine balance.

1. THE MOSQUITOES
The mosquito is the single deadliest animal in the world and also one of the smallest. Mosquitoes are estimated to cause between 750,000 and one million human deaths per year. They are a vector for many diseases that are deadly to mankind including malaria, dengue fever, and the West Nile and Zika viruses. Malaria alone accounts for over half a million fatal infections annually.

Only the female mosquito feeds on humans with the male feeding on nectar. Some scientists have estimated that potentially half of all human deaths since the beginning of our species may be the result of illnesses transmitted by mosquitoes. Even without such a wild historical estimate, the mosquito has solidly cemented its place at number one on our list of deadliest animals with both their aggression and the deaths of nearly one million people per year.

2. THE SNAKES
It turns out that the fear of snakes or ophidiophobia may not be so unreasonable after all. Snakes account for over 100,000 fatalities a year based on conservative estimates. A worldwide shortage of antivenin as well as the remote locations inhabited by some of the most venomous snake species all contribute to this high death toll.

While many people fear large snakes like boa constrictors and anacondas, the snake responsible for the most deaths is actually the saw-scaled viper which only measures up to three feet long! Also called the carpet viper, this snake resides in Africa, the Middle East, and India, and the females of the species are more than twice as venomous as the males. Aside from the high death rate, the carpet viper’s venom is a neurotoxin that causes an extremely high number of amputations in those victims that it doesn’t kill outright.

3.DOGS AND WOLVES
Man’s best friend is also one of our deadliest threats. Directly fatal dog and wolf encounters are exceedingly rare in comparison to the number of deaths resulting from canine transmitted rabies infections. We are several hundred years removed from when wolf packs actively hunted humans in India causing over 200 deaths per year in the 18th and 19th centuries, but 40,000-50,000 deaths annually are caused by the rabies virus alone. Again, the vast majority of those deaths take place outside of first-world countries and are the result of a lack of advanced medical care. Rabies transmission from wolf species is much lower than those from dogs, but they are not zero.

4.HUMANS
In all history humans also known as man is one of the animals with the largest brain capacity hence capable of controlling all the other planet animals.

Having the ability to control all the other animals, man is believed to have evolved from ape species. Dryopithecus to the current Homo sapiens, has negatively impacted the earth in one way or the other. This has not only endangered the life of most species of the world, but has lead to the extinction many fauna and flora species on planet earth.

First, the survival of man is fully dependent on other animals and plants of the earth. But the rapid increase in human population is a great threat to planet earth. Hence, humans earn the number one spot on the list of the deadliest animals in the world. With the rise in human population there has been a degradation of worlds resources. Entire forests are deforested impacting climate change on a massive and irreparable scale.

Global warming is a threat to the entire universe and is a cause of human activities. Industrialisation has led to the depletion of the ozone layer and now plants and animals are becoming extinct in all regions of the world. What about the increasing climate that has led to fish dying in the lakes and our oceans. Dangerous agricultural chemicals now threaten to all the aquatic animals and even human beings themselves.

Most animals and plants of the earth are now extinct due to the existence of one animal, the human being. That is how deadly man is to fellow living organisms and even the planet itself.
