Get a hold of yourself. The OP clearly has the opinion that ALL Atheists are the way they are due to scientific assumptions. What he doesn't realize is that a lot of non-religious folks have little or no idea about scientific prepositions rather they have come to a point where they've realized the stupidity of religion and dumped it. Some weren't even born into religious households (e.g in European countries).

Furthermore, a lot of scientists who have come forth with theories of evolution are RELIGIOUS (most especially Christians). How do you reconcile this anomaly?

Even with your common sense you should know that nothing appears from nothing. God or not, you can't tell a kindergarten that nothing just appears from nowhere, your arguments should be who did this or not. Even pure science preaches every life begins from somewhere not from nowhere. What is basic common sense when you tell your sense what to believe and when not. Up till tomorrow some people even with common sense believes AIDS is not real. So how can a product appears without a manufacturer? How can a product has all wisdom about its manufacturer? How can a product question maybe its manufacturer is real or not? I think you should use the part of your sense that thinks normal not the common one.What is your life span as you are right now? Why do you believe in the tomorrow you can't see now, or feel now? Why can't your eyes see more than where you are now? Why can't you brain see, believe and know more than what has being stored in it? why can't you be in different places at the same time with the same body? That is to tell you we are humans and limited and there is more we don't know than what we know. Science will continue to find and want to discover new things because they know all things have an origin and they want to link everything to that origin. so they go everywhere to find and discover answers to a lot of questions. If you have tried God and you believe He failed you , have you asked why he failed you. Maybe you failed him first. You are just a product of His hands and no generation can question their creator. Someone said there is no God, you too just sat down lazy saying there is no God. You have power to believe what you want to believe but ultimately your power can not create life. And mind you God is not begging you but He has given you a choice to accept and know Him more deeply because when you finally close your eyes(die) and see Him there will be no excuse or discussion like this again.

Can you prove everything was created by this fellow? I laugh,If you can prove God, then he is not God. The only reason you will and can never prove him is that he doesn't sit in your head and where you want Him to sit. Thanks mazaje, it was an experience that i would always like to share. He spoke the language He knows i understood. He told me 3 things about my life when i was in a confuse state and i wept throughout the night. I cried i tell you, and i told him if only i get an answer to my problems i will not live him for a second. I remember that first experience, i was still on my bed when he spoke in my ears 3 things concerning my problems, the next day manifestation of those things came in, when the third one came in i shed tears of Joy, i knew God can never lie after 7 good years i am still enjoying those things.

Please i want to believe all these argument and thought about God is a joke. Have you ever thought about man's existence should be for a purpose? Have you ever asked yourself this question, why am i hear in the first place, what is my mission and purpose on this earth. It hasn't being on any record that some men fell from the sky and began to live their lives. There must be a reason why man was created by someone and it must to be for a purpose either good or bad. and once the life expires we will be faced with the unknown, and the unknown could be very dangerous. From a logic and free mind, man can not exist by error without any purpose, then that means man should have a time limit, but the time limit is for us to know that we can not exist for life that we all have time to do some specific thing within the proportional time allotted to every creature. Just because you have not seen or heard about something doesn't not give a proof that such never existed, technology did everything humanly possible to launch a satellite to the orbit even when people believe that it was only a blue sky.If no one can see tomorrow before it comes and we all believe that tomorrow will come and it exist then no one has excuse not to believe that God just like tomorrow does exist. No scientist have proven that life exist or do not exist after death. But if some one says that He has assurance of life after death then I will blame myself if i am still waiting for a prove to be seen after death.

Coldfeet: How would you advice I handle a situation where a young girl confides in me that my father molests her!! She claims its not once but several times! No penetrative sex yet! This last one made me realise most things are sheer coincidence:
When my daughter turned 10 months, my mother in law was worried that she has not started walking so she went to the village and complained to some people who told her to get white chalk, ground it into powder and mix it with soap. She was to bath my daughter using the mixture of soap, chalk, administered with a local sponge and her body should be rinsed with water warmed by the morning sunlight. she brought the chalk and native and local sponge but for one reason or the other she couldnt perform the silly ritual before she went back home but she promised to come back the following week and bathe for my daughter. i am so surprised that Nigerians complain that the decrease water level affects the production of Electricity and we are fooled because they know we don't Know. In an Hydro power dam, once there is decrease in water level there is a process that re-cycles the water(pumps water back to the dam), so that all through the year there is constant supply of water in the dam to power the turbine. So because of government's inefficiency and corrupt practices, Nigerian governments finds a foolish excuse to feed the foolish Nigerians who will receive the foolish excuse and confidently say it outside to other foolish friends who will tell their generations.
