I will tell you this, ATIKU brought Obi to limelight by making him the VP in PDP so the Igbos saw their best chance. When they now thought it was the time of the south again, the only person they had was the person that was recently a VP candidate and since he was not getting what he wanted,they left the party. At the slightest opportunity, they abandoned the party.

Igbos rally around Peter Obi out of desperation and frustration. I actually feel for them . However, it is better to say you want an Igbo presidency because you are due for it than to say Peter Obi that failed as a governor is the best candidate. It is comical

Let me tell you the difference. How many states did Apga win in SE? For Ojukwu to be taken seriously as a candidate, you would at least vote his party in your states ans we would all know he was a regional leader. If you noe rejected him at the national level after that then we can say you rejected your best candidate for other candidates. Ojukwu was never a serious contender in any election. You all knew that other parts of the country would never trust a seccesionist that engineered the civil war to become president so you and I know that his candidacy was a joke.

The only common denominator was that Igbo was always voting PDP. Nothing more, nothing less. PDP was formed by an Igbo man who had high hopes of becoming president. Igbo has never voted any other party apart from PDP so voting Yardua was no different. You had no other candidate

My own cousin in his community in lagos few years ago refused to pay 1k contribution per appartment on his street to repair some electrical issue. The community organiser went to his appartment to talk to him, but met his wife who he dropped a message with. He came home and raised hell that they came to his house and said if anything happens to his wife na wahala. Knowing he is related to me, the community guy called me and I pleaded with him to be patient. I called my cousin and instructed him to keep quite and pay immediately.
Once a group, organisation or community decides on something, comply even if you do not agree with it, do not be the spoiler. Imagine you saying he can take them to court, over 1k? How much will you pay lawyer or is even 1k worth the time wasted going to court?

Who was your candidate in 2007 that had the national spread that you rejected for Yaradua ? By 2007, every state in SE was sympathetic to PDP. Tell me who you would have voted in 2007 that you rejected for Yaardua that could have won the election? You made it sound like the Yorubas didn't vote for Yardua? We also had Pastor Bakare in that election. You want me to say we rejected Bakare for Yardua or what?

Igbo has always voted with ethnic bias. You only voted other regional candidates because you had no choice.

In 1979, you voted Shagari against Awolowo because your son, Ekwueme was the VP.

The same Ekwueme formed PDP with some other people . Igbo believed that Ekwueme was going to become President via PDP so you always voted PDP. In 1999, you voted PDP, the party of Ekwueme against the Yoruba candidate even though both of them were yorubas. In 2023, all your governors and senators were pdp and you naturally voted PDP because APGA was a one party state that was so useless. It was just like Yorubas saying they rejected pastor Bakare..Of course even if we didn't reject him, he was going no where. I dont want to keep going on and on but Igbo is the most tribalism voting block we have in Nigeria and they gaslight others when they support their own.

Tell us you want an Igbo president. It makes more sense than saying Peter Obi that was a classical failure is the messiah that will rescue Nigeria. It is disgusting.
