Restart your system on safe mood.it will show u admin user and ur use account,log into the admin and go to user account settings on control panel and turn ur user account to an admin account.save and restart ur system.

I'm thinking about paying for a voip service and possibly selling it to some of my yahoo friends.I had the opportunity of using one given to me by my cousin in uk till it expired early this year.
The nice thing about it, where its features,which allowed me to make free calls to the uk,us and australia for €17 fee,as in i paid 17 pounds for unlimited free calls to uk and us,while i was only charged for calling other countries,(of which the cost was cheaper than using my gsm line to call that same country).
Another feature,was that the service allow me to create any number as caller id which would show when i call another number.(in essence i could use your own phone number to call u,imagine you get a call and its your phone number calling u.)on top of it,i could set that number as my number so that u can call me back on it.
Another feature is its ability to send text messages with the above mentioned features.
Now i've run the rough estimate and found that some websites offer even cheaper services.in naira they cost between N1700 to N4000 per either one month to one year.
I just want to ask the house if its a good business to start for my pals here.

When next you connect,double click on your network icon on you task bar(looked down by the right)it blinks to show your net activity.

Problem solved.

I just formated my c600,partitions the harddrive too and installed windows 2008 by amit_talkn(2005 service pack 2).
Now upon checking my devices manager i found 3 ?'s
pci simple controller,video controller(vga compatible) and ethernet controller.
Feeling that the drivers were missing i went to Dell.com to download them upon which i found that they don't have the drivers to solve these errors.
Using google i did a search for them and found people had posted the same problems and still the same outcome from Dell(they don't have the drivers).
I went to microsoft.com to check for them cos if you do a search using the controllers as the topic,it leads you to microsoft,which still could not answer the question.

Now i ask,can anyone in the house help me with the drivers for these devices on xp or better still the device name and manufacturers(cos since i installed the os i can't even get the name of the device)that use these controllers for Dell c600 so i can solve this problem.

Where does one get a wireless card.
Cos i need one that works with PCMIC "or something like that" card slot,with an atheros chip or ra link chip,with the ability to monitor and inject packets.
Broadcom just does not cut it for distance and for what i need the card for.
And also does anyone have an idea of how much this type of wireless card or wireless cards in general,costs.

If it would please the house,i want to enquire upon the possibility of creating another partition on a harddrive with only one partition and has already had an OS(windows) installed on it.

Secondly will creating such a partition course damages to the os or harddrive.

Third.How does one go about to achieve this,as in,what utility or software can achieve success without error.

Yeah i know its an old Dell model,but i got one from a friend and here are its problems.

The screens not coming on,but works when attached to a monitor

No cd rom drive and no battery.

By now some of you might be laughing and asking is that a laptop or desktop.

Well i finally got a the screen fixed and bought a battery.
All i need now is a cd rom drive,which seem's unavailable at computer villa.

So i'm asking if any one out there has got an old Dell c600 or c610 which is either not working or sitting idle with the parts i need.

The world has come to rely on indian for handling most of their customer care issues.
In US or UK most firms handling communication,product sale,maintains etc have found that its cheaper for them to outsource their customer care issues to indian customer care firms based in indian.Where staff are trained to answer calls like they are just next door to you.
This is done mostly via voip 'voice over ip'.
Of which Only mtn has started using such technology in Nigeria.
What i wonder is,if indian could handle such situations effectivily,what are we doing in Nigeria.

I have always wondered wat platform those china phones work on.
And why they operate the same way a samsung phone operates.
And like most samsung phones i know,you can't install a java or symbian application.
So to my question,what platform do china phones operate on and which app,if any can be installed on them.Oh and where can one get such apps online or offline.

Well bigrvoar,yes i know its for ethical hackers,but at least let someone that wants to learn,learn how to install it then move on to using it.
I'm already using some tools in it on my windows,but i just like to learn -LEARN - how to use it with auditor.
So please apart from the bitter truth,you got any way to help me out with installing it,or downloading another linux os that i can easily get all those tools.Then lets hear it.
