Anyone one with an idea of this please drop de details with their website and office contacts.Preferably LAGOS. P.s online stocks, forex traders, info merchants, online business punch lines and other stories please keep off. |

I've run it through download accelerator plus, download accelerator premium, free download manager, mozilla downloads, seamonkey download, opera transfer and internet download manager, which give me accurate time for download and a bandwith download speed of 7kps maximum. So guys please enlighten me cos so far internet explore, mozilla firefox and opera done seem to open pages faster than sea monkey on my laptop and 3 other laptops. i've tried. Sea monkey got my gmail standard html view open in 37seconds,mail.yahoo.com in 29sec,and facebook in 1min 28sec.I have not tried safari and chrome yet.but will look at them.for messengers,it seems skype opens well but aol and yahoo got issues with that proxy, have not tried msn yet. Mail servers like outlook, opera and seamonkey via port 110 and 25,ssl and tsl don't work. Ftp works fine. So which browser are you guys using for zain and which download accelerator cos i did like to know the one that gave u 30kps per sec. |
I'm looking at buying an internet connection and i don't just know which one to go for and which of them is fast enough. Also is it possible to get any internet connect service from any of these cdma network providers for as low as 10k. Plus if anyone in the house got an internet connect from these cdma networks,he or she wants to sell.please let me know. P.s please note,i mentioned cdma networks not gsm so fb scamer's keep off. |
I noticed that this has been quite a problem as most of these stations hardly repeat the on air numbers they use for their shows. After days of listening in lagos,i was able to get cool fm and inspiration fm's call in and text numbers.for inspiration fm call 012773939, text 33939.For cool fm its 33967 for text while call 7303969. But i'm wondering if anyone out there can supply us with the call in numbers for programs on other radio and tv stations in lagos and other states. As most of them don't have a listing or website to gather this information. |
I'm guessing your not online often so surveys, hyips and internet business does not cut it for you. I'm also guessing that you don't have a large capital base so that presents another problem. And as nigerian's don't invest so much in reading, being an info merchant does not cut it also. So your looking at either a product or service you can sell, either your or someone elses product. One way to start is to consider the school, its hostels if any,the students and the lecturers. Write down what you notice and develop business areas out of it. For instance,a cousin of mine from nau,who was looking for an area of business, started a mobile phone software installation business, also with his knowledge in ccna, started home tutoring for students interested to learn networking and ccna.for this he had to find an examination centre for his students to write the exam once he had finished training them. He graduated last year but is still doing business in the school. Its about knowing what you have and wat to do with it. |
Guys all this depends on how much you put in. I got 13% on 1.2m for a 90days renewable fixed deposit account, and i'm running it for one year straight. Thats a total of 156k per 90days. But what i heard,it all depends on the amount you put in,something lower than 1m gives you low interest, higher than 1m gives you high interests |
I have been considering running an investment on some funds, and after weighting the options,i went to the banks to invest it. After much hassling i got a bank to give me 13% for that amount (ranging about N1.2m)for a 3 months fixed deposit account.which i plan to run for one year. What i'm asking is if there are viable investment companies, banks and established asset/fund managers that can give between 7 and 10% monthly not yearly on an investment.because i've a list of interested investors who want me to research these investment options before they invest. P.s online busines, forex traders and people without offices in major states in nigeria please don't bother replying. Also this is not open for business partnership as we are looking at investments not businesses ventures. |
Alright this is a poll to find ideas that would be easy for people to start, has been researched and can yield a good monthly income. P.s all online so called businesses please keep off, because we are talking business not fraud. |

I've an earlier post on oil palm business on the topic starting a business.check for it there. |
I have found that most nigerian's dream of being in their own business.Being self employed and making tons of money daily. Its possible only if your ready to put in the sacrific needed at the beginning to put the business afloat. This will involve a lot of brainstorming, thinking and research to know the best business area, product or service for you to start with. But if your ready to put your mind to work, and start now,the best bet for you would be either being a service provider or a broker(check it up in a dictionary)in your location. Basic tools you will need are 1. A computer 2. A printer 3. A business card that proclaims your business name and its services 4. An office,of which your home address if the best starting point. Now for your service of product you want to render to the public. As my mentor would say, read books, read people and just look around you for what is lacked or needed by most people. Please don't use a day to do this.Take a pen and paper, sit, observe and write down what you saw or heard, spend between 1 and 4 hours a days,at choice times morning afternoon or night for as long a period as you require. Ask questions from the people around you to find out what they lack or what they want. What you don't know can be googled up.if you got access to the net, don't spend time chatting or on facebook, spend it googling up info on you business area,or research and read what you find. When you feel you have gathered enough intel and know all.Your next move will be to put a plan around what you have learnt and where you want your business to grow to.(google up business plan). Finally just start the business following what your plan outlines. I hope this helps all you wanna be entrepreneurs,if you need more detail, mail or chat with me on cjpumping2020 yahoo.or call 017308706 |
I was working on something pertaining to that. But its still a long way off till i finish. So in the spirit of sharing a bit of detail.let me enlighten you on what bankers need to do to. Nigeria is changing so are nigerians.if a marketer can think of any other way to market apart from hitting the streets and referrals, then they might as well park up.With so much competition in the land, one has to be as innovative yet as cunning as the other. I know most of marketing targets for bankers mean simply find customers to open accounts, but aren't there accounts that you think can benefit the clients. When booking a meeting wit a prospect is it all about opening an account or how an account will help will help the clients business and even you proffering advise and solutions to minor business or investment problems for a business owner or investor. Do you draw a plan of strategies when you cold conference for clients and keep trying each till you get one strategy that works or do you go wit no plan at all. Also do you spend time to think about the problem, brainstorm on it for solutions and find out from other professionals what the feel about your findings. If you still need help, feel free to im me cjpumping2020 or call 017308706 |
i just sent you a mail |
Hey folks,i need to activate my zain sim i bought last year. I called their customer care and they say its activated but i never got a message from them. I've sent a text to 232 but no reply for 3days now. Anyone out there who can help. Please constructive replies not fb promotions. |
When i said buy laptops,i meant buy them outright. My cousin got his tosiba sat pro for £240,your £1k is arm robbery for a sony viao. The kind of laptops you should be looking for are those sold online and are on sales. Also try looking for a chinese or japanese contact to get the laptops cos they are far more cheaper there but they don't come with guarantees or warrantees. Same applies for the phones. Buy brand names. Now as for whether there is a market for that, the answer is yes. Currently computer villa is experiencing lack of patronage for laptops as sellers can sit for a week at most wit no sale. If you can build a list of interested buyer and present your prices to them, you will get sales. This is what my firm handles for some of our partners in computer villa,we get clients for their products, they deliver to the clients,we pay them. I won't go into the process.Cos it took us time to get it right. My advise if you decide to dabble into it is,build a list of client who are interested in your price. Which if you are getting the laptops are £210 upwards will give u at most 15k gain after import, tax and sale. |

You can get quality business cards from printers in oshodi, ikeja, palm groove and surulere. If you have a design for the cards,a quality card laminated won't cost you more than N2000 or less for a 100 cards, the more you print,in batch of 100 the cheaper they are. If you don't have the designs,it will cost you between N800 and N2k for a graphics designer to design it for you. |
Oh recharge card printing business is a business where u buy the pins and print by yourself then sell to the public. The good thing is that the pins are a bit cheaper than the ones sold on paper. The bad part are 1.you have to buy paper and print the pins, which when estimated via paper and printing, costs more or same as those sold by dealers 2.can only print 100 and 200 naira cards, 3. 2 or 3pins out of a batch might not work 4.you have to find a market for your pins as most phone stands buy from dedicated dealers in their area. 5.opportunity for making money here depends on the pins you get and your ability to find a large pull of clients you will supply to. |
Well look at the good side If you come home and go for nysc, you would be working and getting paid, little as that may seem. That presents an advantage, you can possibily start a business with that funds at where ever nysc posts you. Ok,about investments i did say if you had 10k pounds best bet would be a fixed deposit for de duration of your service year 12months,find a bank that will give u between 10 and 14% per 3months. Give the bank the money and complete your nyse by which time you will have gain some more money ontop of your initial investment. Or you could find an importable product that can fly well in nigeria and bring them in as you come back, say laptops or phones. If your interested in the business part, hit me on cjpumping2020 on yahoo so we can chat later. |
I hear alot of people talk about having money but no business idea.Or that the have an idea but no money. Those are not what really matter,as most just want a business that they will do little or nothing and suddenly their bank accounts are reading 1m daily. The truth is that yes there are ideas that can yield large returns and require little effort.BUT before the yield returns there must be an initial growth, which will require large amounts of effort and time. The final reward can only be acquired throught dedication. Being in business means having a plan, goals and being dedicated to those goals and plan no matter the situation. Being in business, means if offer be,going to bed by 11pm and getting up by 5am and being happy to be at it each day. Being in business means, believing in your business even when your broke and have to walk a distance just to get there. Being in business means work. If you think you can't handle any of the stress involved. Then you have no right starting a business. |
This is the year where,if you have a shop and you don't look for your customers, you might just have to close down. Business has gone mobile this year, where young business owners are out looking for clients not waiting for them. Even those in home business, laptop, printer and N1500 business cards. Are out looking for clients to patronise them. So all you shop owners, get off your lazy butts and go find your customers. |
Investing in a stock or in a business. If its stocks you want to invest in,then listen to radio and watch 9pm news there are alot of options there. But if its a business you want to invest in,then check out firms like kpmg, zenith bank, gtbank, uba, generis and bigplus. They all have business ideas and businesses that one can become a partial owner of. You might want to stay clear of some of them cos invest deposit can be as high as 10m. |
Thats great, you got the funds and you have the office. Now you need to sit down and think up an idea that is business worth.Once you find one,do the research to know its viability and its financials. I'll give you some ideas but you will have to research them to know how you will start and how you will plan it,dedicate your time to it and run it. 1.BE A BROKER: as in,connect a service, business or product to a client. 2.OFFER TRAININGS: look for a new area that people want to know about and employ a trainer to teach them. 3.OFFICE RENTALS:there are alot of people looking for office space to use for meetings or client calls. 4.START A SERVICE:look at your area and start a service that people can't seem to do without. I could go on and on. If your smart you will think these throught and do a research into them. If not you should be confused at this point. If your confused, then there is only one option for you.Use the money to go study a course in IT that you can do business with,or spend it on something worthwhile,Cos business ain't for you. If your smart and need help with the research, then give me a call 07035803388 let me enlighten you more. |
