The foundation of mathematics from primary school matters alot even in english language particulerly spelling,once you miss the fundamentals during the tender age,there the failure begins.I think many people fall in this category.Some people also pick up from secondary school at least during the JSS level but i see that as last chance,once it crosses this level       even Desmond Tutu of south Africa will find it difficult.

Well said,even if the equipments are purchased for the institution without embeslement,we don't have the qualified personnel to operate these equipments in those institution as they will be damaged before the year runs out. Most of the equipments in most of our polytechnics are new but has been damaged by unqualified personels.I went to one of these poytechnics during october last year,there i saw one ward Leonard machine & it was the current model but it has been damaged by one of the lecturers who claimed to be qualified for the operation. I managed to operate it by twisting some of the terminals together without the knobs cause some of the knobs are no more intact, i can't imagine the so called qualified personels glancing at me as if am performing magick.This is where the problem is,can they use it for the purpose of teaching & learning?some of these lecturers can not even supervise simple project given to OND students before defense. I don't know where this country is heading to.

My dear just go to uniport by october/November & purchase a form for Post HND program,it's a weekend programs that run for 3years @ 3 semester/year. I think it's better every weekend you can stroll down there before you know it, the cirtificate is yours.Note: companies no more depend on degrees now it's, do it that thing which you know let's see,final!

This shouldn't cause alarm, i merited both qualification( HND & BSC ) as i stated few years ago on this same forum, but in my own case HND cirtificate was used for my employment instead of BSC. I appreciate my BSC but HND made my day,the work load in poly is very high in such that when i was in poly i don't have to time party but in uni i think i did party well. How ever both are good but i vote for poly students cause many poly graduate don't wait for Government recruitment as they can be self employed but a university graduate have to wait for such! If you like field work like rig worker then go to the poly but if you like office aircondition,then go to the university.Nigeria need those that can make things work & not those that can design & hands up without making it work. If you believe poly students don't do much of theory i sugest you go there your self or try them.

What do we expect? Those are one of the children that drinks small stout! The father knows where he conjoured that child from & if the child is punished to death of cause conjouring another one will be difficult, that is psychology behind the act. The problem here is that 90% of our gadgets are analog while the white uses digital so in this case they will still lack behind,just try visit an upgraded police station & what i mean!

FG should employ more guys from Nairaland to serve in the army, we may do better since there is no employment in companies & more so am begining to understand that Nigeria don't have enough army as required to combat crime in this country. Infact i am ready!
