The reason why they allow that in the USA because there are institutions that checkmate the executive, but in Nigeria no institutions is functioning independently. The system in Nigeria allow the president to be in charge of all the government institutions that are supposed to check the president. It is only the national assembly that can help the masses if they get it right.
