[quote author=CLT123]Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi has been handed a first time Nigeria call-up by coach Stephen Keshi. He was invited in 2000 under jo bonfree but he turned down to chance to rep us thinking he cud replace micheal owen |
Clemzy16: No doubt the good samaritans did their best but they didn't do well enough. How come they knew the man for more than 4yrs yet they couldn't do anything tangible to help him. The report made us understood that the man was physically balanced. Probably he had some psychological problems which made him abandoned and life-miserabled. If you ask me, I'll say those so-called good samaritans are to be blamed in one way or the other for not been able to provide any help to him despite the long period[b] they knew him.and it cost less dan 100k to get a room apartment in fagba area... God help us on the right track cos the human mind is desperately wicked |
dvdon: Where r d social worker n NGOs, where r d rich well meaning Nigerians, where is d media ? All this questions needs to be answered before more useful but helpless Nigerians die in the dumb, hospitals, in their homes and in the prisons. God save us and May pa thorpes soul RIP.U nko, wher r u? |
ehie: as real as ur faceignoramus |
IykeD: Really dude, I don't understand your point. I have given you the reason for his relevance. He and D'Banj carved a niche for themselves and it worked perfectly for them and after that, producers started getting popular in Nigeria. How come you even know the likes of Cobhams, sosick and co? If they are not talked about like celebrities, would you have known them? I remember vividly, sosick was all over Dagrin of blessed memory, wasn't it how you actually got to know him quite well, was he in the background? Don J started all that with D'Banj. People like Blacky made hits upon hits, did you ever hear about their producers? No, because no one gave a hoot about them but it's not the case today anymore, things have changed in the naija music scene and change they say is the only constant thing.well said my brov...to add to ur points dat even nelson brown was popular fo producin d likes of planteshun boiz as well as being a voice baq ind days |

Luxythere: Yep !Go to kfc club along oldkent road, xanxibar around sydnham or simply go to peckham market to meet alot of nigerias |
wild child: Don J started all this wahala himself by going on twitter to 'diss' freeze which I fink is immature,if you've got an issue with anybody you've known b4,you can always face them and tell them not doing so on a social network,so I would agree with freeze for saying Don J stooped so low.....Also,Don jazzy hasn't moved on with the whole mohit split saga,if nt I dnt see any reason for wat he did on twitter if he feel Freeze is taking side with D'banj which is very normal for humans to also av choice even Jesus had a favorite...As for the professional broadcasting issue, why frEeze shldnt be taking sides,I don't agree with that, cos he would have done that if it were Don Jazy to be in the studio with him,ask yourself,av you heard an exclusive interview like that about the mohit saga from D'banj b4? NO? Why? Cos most media personalities don't wanna ask real questions from him, even if they ask D'banj will jst skip it,but Freeze decided to take side with D'banj, make him feel comfortable, and made to speak him true mind, even addressing the illuminati issue for the very 1st time...Kudos to freeze....Don J has always been quick to use twitter to his advantage anytym he z gat issue with any1,thereby making the oda party guilty cos of his influence on twitter, cos other people don't use twitter as him doesn't mean they can't be right too cos it seems Don J is always a saint anytym he has an issue with anybody and most ppl are always quick in taking side with him...its only in Nigeria that a producer will have more power like this, nobody will say Don J is not good bt the way he z going about all dis controversies is something one should think about,is it only him? Most of y'all here knw who BRANDY is,but ow many of you knw his producer 'DARK CHILD' who's has worked relentlessly for the success of brandy sinx she was 13...I just wonder if Dark Child has more influence like Don J has in Nigeria....As for freeze,if you listen to his show very well, you wld knw he z very blunt, there's a big difference between blunt and rude, when listeners call in to a radio shw, they are expected to tune the volume of their radio down which most callers dnt do and that creates noise on the radio, what do you expect him todo? Though he talks about his family background a lot, most times, its always to buttress a point....as for humility,I don't know but none of them,Donjay and freeze is humble as IK aka wildchild, the BBA anchorur entire write-up stink of ignorance... |
ehie: banky w is highly intelligent bodering on genius, and versatile, wizkid i forsee is a one hit wonder,i see big things for banky, wizkid is probably believing his hype..it will b down hill from hereare u foreal?? |
nex: Well, to whoever wants to pay money to get Freeze of Cool FM beaten up, don't waste your money. I personally know two people who are plotting to beat him up for free. The guy behaves like a frog. One piece of advice I'll give any of his fans, don't ever approach him in public, he'll make a fool out of you for no reason, other than you approached him.hey mister u beta park ur keke well jor... did he buy dummy followers wen he donated 2m to a sick patient? He is naija tweet king and sme celebs even ask him ow he always cm up wit trending topics. If we must criticise, lets be constructive |
ORAFA: How does this make sense? Someone says something silly and gets cheered up. How on earth would he have $200 to give out and not have to feed his family? What he did is simply placing a bounty on Freeze, even the Police placed a N5million bounty on Kabiru Sokoto somtym back. Dats not to say they werent capable. Its either they needed it done faster or sum oda reason. Don't just talk, think before you talk. PEACEu make sense...som pipo jst talk like d shyt dey tink in deir head |
Freeze is a two-faced mudafvka. He had Genevieve ond road show abt 2yrs ago...d question of dbanj/gene bein an item was asked and even bfo gene cud say jack, des fake oyibo startd rappn dbanj and ow he's trying to use gene's name to blow bla bla... I was shocked @ dis guy famzin dbanj lst month on his show and throwin stones @ jazzy, actn lyk he knw t @ abt dbanj, ow he was wit him in abhu dhabi wen he met kanye... He shud tke it easy wit d misyarnin even beefin peckham, cuttin u off or laffin @ u if u re callin frm alagbado, bariga en all oda suburbs |

honeric01: I thought they were going to perform better last season but they broke my heart again.U knw der r serz admin probs wit d club as well as d sittin gov isnt a big sportsman. We can only be positive abt d comin seasons |
honeric01: Insurance of Benin disappointed me, for now i don't support them until they return to the NPL.bro d heartbreak na massive one but as a true fan, i am with them wher eva dey go. |
I still rememba baq den in 94(benin), always sneaking into ogbe stadium to watch home matches... It was fun watching the likes of iwanyanwu, rangers, julius berger and em likes come to play matches in benin with so much rivalry and fierce contests. Insurance has been relegated to d lower leagues, i only wish fo em to be baq ind top league someday soon and i will be baq supporting my beloved benin insurance. Offcuz i av tried to know wat division dey ar in right now but lack of info about lower leagues mkes it almost impossible fo me to follow em up. |
MILAN (Reuters) - An Italian court on Friday sentenced former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi to four years in jail for tax fraud in connection with the purchase of broadcasting rights by his Mediaset television company. Berlusconi has the right to appeal the ruling two more times before a definite sentence, and will not have to serve any time in jail until his final appeal is heard. Prosecutors had asked for a jail sentence of three years and eight months. The ruling comes two days after Berlusconi, 76, confirmed he would not run in next year's elections as the leader of his People of Freedom (PDL) centre-right party. Mediaset shares fell nearly 3 percent after the ruling. (Reporting By Sara Rossi) http://uk.news.yahoo.com/berlusconi-sentenced-jail-mediaset-trial-141829014--finance.html |

fellis: I used to think it was just a coincidence that the crime news that made HP were committed by a certain ethnic group, but I am beginning to think that their showing up in front page is a calculated attempt by the mods to incite tribalismSTFU! WILL U SAY DSAME IF UR MOM WAS SOLD FOR 10K BY IFEANYI FOR RITUALS? |
omenziate: This news is quite stale now, happened like 2 weeks back. Are dese moderators covertly supporting tribalism ? SMHWots tribal abt a ritualist and heartless ifeanyi?? uihebom: Omotola is a diva anytime. If you guys think its easy to shoot film in Nigeria just raise a camera up and see how horrible our environment is. They are just trying their best. I believe one day everything will change gradually. As she said they are only 16years old. Do you know how old Hollywood is. I think they started 1886, den Nigerians were still walking around nak ed.STFU... in ur own words; u wna compare an institution of more than a 100yrs to dat of 16yrs ind making Dont be fooled by d waka-pass pictures dey snap wit hollywood celebs in international airports |
