Cheers to the Mother bear.

I remember when the war started and how i was always arguing with my colleagues and bosses who said Russia will see pepper and their economy will crumble.
Some said Russia will pull out in no time and even pay for the repair of Ukraine. LMAOOOO

Today, they all keep quiet like they ain`t seeing Russia show US and Europe that same pepper, sanctions my slightly dark, hairy booty.

I have always loved Putin, my mentor and strong man. I had plans of joining the military, rising tru the ranks and taking over the country then leading it to real greatness on the African continent not the fake African giantism that the current C -in-C and his fellow urchins have degraded the country to.

Unfortunately i ended up in the bank making some 6million annually with broken dreams banging around in my head each time my boss makes me get up from my system.

Hungry man hoping to get some crumbs to munch like the beggar he is from the plate of the vegetative druggie hoping to be C-in-C.

Ewwwwww, he`d most likely get crumbs covered in spittle.

See his nose like Pinocchio`s own, lying son of the gutter.

Onidoti, obun, agbaya, ole, alapamasise, werey.

Fake man of God, like the sneakers i got for 14k with two designers on its body. Still pained i got subbed the day i wore it out. Had to trash it like the above fake pastor.

Nigeria has really never had it this bad, the country is on a downward trajectory. Nothing seems to be working, security, economy, education, food security, standard of living, sports etc all just bad.
Bad is too light a word, things are extremely terrible.

And yet some people are still campaigning for this demonic party and its almost vegetative candidate who has nothing to offer than emi lokan.

I really hope our eyes get open and we vote for the only candidate we all know can set the country on the right path, i won`t mention his name cos we all know. Even the brain dead APC urchins are well aware.

Career / Re: 100k Job On The Mainland Vs 150k Job On Island. Please Help!!! by BrodaAgbaya: 3:37pm On Jul 21, 2022

Most of you saying career growth this and that, have you considered the health of the OP? How long is he going to keep waking by 4am and return home as early as 12 am?

Is the gross 50k worth the mental and physical stress? If you have no where to stay at the island, please take up the 100k mainland job and keep searching for a better one.

I can recall neighbour's HOUSE WIFE locking him out on daily basis when he returns by 1 am from his island job. Same man as you all know leaves home by 4 am. He's the one that opens and locks the gate daily.

Abeg rest with the 4am and 12am talk, he can get a room around shomolu. I wake up 5;30/6am and i get back home by 7:730pm for this same shomolu.

Bro/Sis,

Pls go for the Island Job, reasons are below;

1. Teller job is a waste of your time, you won`t be promoted and you won`t be converted to a full staff anytime soon.. Prolly you`d end up being an ET at age 35.
2. As a teller, you don`t even get HMO or pension plans. If you are a full staff at the Island place, you should be entitled to these plans.
3. Career growth is very important, after a year or two at these place you can afford to change jobs and certainly you should be negotiating 250 above depending on your skills.
4. You can always get a room around yaba, gbagada, shomolu, bariga, oworo, surulere, ojuelegba to reduce the stress of traffic.
5. You are getting a higher pay, 150k is still better than 100k.
6. The change of environment is always good, you`d meet new people on the island (finer working babes mostly)
7. Teller job na useless job once again, i`d rather sell puff puff by the junction that do teller.

You really cant get it wrong with this new job, pls do

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: My First Major Job Interview In Germany (true Life Story) by BrodaAgbaya: 11:49am On Jul 13, 2022
monkmike:

You can study in TUM or any other part of Germany without German proficiency, especially at the Master's level. In courses where German language is required at the Master level, it may only be up to A2, which is, in my opinion, easy to attain.

Learning German was easy for me; I had the interest and practised as much as possible using all the means exposed to me - neighbours at home, colleagues mini-job, listening to radio stations, watching German TV shows and movies, tandem classes and practising on my own. The secret is simply PRACTICE!

Munich vs Berlin; this depends on your field of study or career path. Munich offers more soft works than Berlin. You will find more of Software/IT companies in Munich, and the state generally pays higher than Berlin. However, accommodation and other living costs are quite higher in Munich compared to Berlin.

Berlin, on the other hand, has all types of jobs, including Software/IT, and the cost of living is relatively cheaper. Also, Berlin is way more multi-cultural and international than Munich.

So, in the end, it really depends on you and what you are looking for.

Feel free to connect with me on Setlinn, where I share regular insights and experience about Germany, plus guide people who are interested in migrating.
https://setlinn.com/groups/da-lounge/

Thanks a lot bro, when the time comes i think i`d just pick universities in both cities and whichever works out is where i head to

NICE
Would like to come for a Masters in TUM, Munich but the language barrier has always been a bother for me. How easy was it for you to learn the language and how`s life in Munich or Berlin. I know they are both like Abuja and Lagos respectively.

I hope there are good paying jobs for Africans without discrimination

Four cylinder m40 or m42 engines have timing issues once the top is changed you can never get the ideal settings
And most of them easily have misfiring issues leading to grinding of valves and all that .
And the overall engine sound is boring loool ..
M50 engines hardly ever have those issues ..your main problem would just be the legs .
That also is a small thing to fix

I'll advise you go the automatic also ..the manual are not the most reliable in terms of clutch plate and disk

Thank, certainly going for an Automatic, can`t even drive manual for this Lagos.

Haha Mobil 1 oil on 2005 BMW 3 series known as Coja in Nigeria.I used this car way back 2006,damn expensive then but with 150k salary now the guy is free to own the car.He should just go for 4 cylinder 316i and 318i with low fuel consumption that can be compared to any Japanese car.

Thanks this is noted, read somewhere about the 316i always having issues accelerating cos of the weight compared to the power. How true is this pls??

with a salary 150k, you want to start driving beamer. Bro, that car is above you, in fact, if you're not thinking about car you could very much use to get more money, then you don't have any business buying a car right now. It doesn't pay to use over one year salary to buy a car, such money should go for investment. Mobile 1 oil is almost 50k now, I'm sure you won't be happy using over 40% of your salary to service car.

With 150k monthly income in this type economy, you're only putting so much stress on yourself buying any car, and bmw to say the least.

A 2004 civic which you can use to hustle once in while might even do you better

My last car was a 06 Civic, certainly ain`t going back to an 04 or to the Civic itself. I want a BMW, that`s why i am asking about it.
Back to the oil issue, doesn`t the Bimmer use the same type of oil a normal sedan car would use??

It’s a good car when maintained regularly
It’s one of the most reliable bmw made.
But with your salary, you shouldn’t be looking at Germans, though it can carry routine maintenance but you’ll have to pray no serious issue comes up.
I will suggest you use the money to get a Japanese.
If you have the car already and it has a good maintenance history, it should be good to go
But with your salary, you should be looking at Bullet, Baby boy, EODs, pencil light them.

Thanks, i have read its the most reliable Bimmer so far. I am actually dislike all the listed cars above. Would have gone for an Evil Spirit at most but the price for tokunbo no be here at all.

Hi guys and BMW gurus,

I want to get a BMW 325I for daily commute to work, mainland to island and maybe once a month journey to ijebu ode. That`s the farthest i`d ever be going with my car. I have been in love with this car for years now.

Pls is it a sensible car to get in terms of fuel consumption, mechanics know how, cost of spare parts and servicing. I know this model is a 6-cylinder engine so the fuel consumption can`t be compared to say Honda civic or toyota corolla, two cars i have used previously.

Also can i comfortably afford the running of this car on a salary of 150k?

Attached is the image of the car

Business / Side Hustles To Start For A 9-5er by BrodaAgbaya: 12:11pm On Apr 12, 2022
Dear Party People,

Pls i need help with what side hustle or business i can start this year, with the rate of inflation in the country salary no dey reach anywhere again. For the past three months now, i get broke before the end of the month. Most times, 2nd week of the month, i`m broke. I don`t live extravagant, maybe i go to a lounge once a month or two months where i hardly spend 5/6k. Though i spend quite a lot on dry cleaning cos i wear white shirts everyday to work.

There`s a shop in front of my house that is not in use and just lying there, i think the landlord has a plan for it. Not sure but i am thinking of opening a dry cleaning business with the shop if the landlord agrees to this. I would appreciate other options that are possible with the shop. Its on a somewhat quite street.

Been thinking of selling corporate suits, shirts and shoes as well at my work place, but the lack of a car has been a limiting factor.

If i had a car, i`d prolly do uber after close of work but that`s out of the option for now.

What other options are available as a side hustle pls?? I get home most times around 7/8pm so this is also a factor in whatever business i plan starting. My weekends are free though. Nairaland business man and women, pls help me with ideas oh. Make sapa no become my friend.
