Politics / Re: NNPCL Now Sells Petrol At N194/litre As Scarcity Bites Harder by BrodaAgbaya: 9:53am On Jan 20, 2023 |
With all the shege we are seeing from the APC and BUBU in Aso rock, some people are still considering voting the same old and almost vegetative BAT. One thing is certain about Nigerians, we love and enjoy suffering. No one can convince me otherwise. I see no reason why APC campaign grounds are still always filled up. They will say BAT built Lagos, blah blah blah. For the sake of not having long arguments let`s assume BAT built Lagos. Does the current BAT look like someone that can handle the country towards a progressive direction in the situation we currently are?? Wouldn`t we be handing the country to the same set of people who have ridiculed us, hoarded palliatives from us, kept us in fuel queues, destroyed the economy and even killed us in the past 8years. I beg in God`s name, let us drop all sentiments and vote wisely. I am begging because your vote will affect about 200million other people. We can`t afford to get it wrong for the next 8years. I beg in God`s name. BAT sees 2023 as his opportunity for himself and his cronies to plunder the country since the Fulani and their cabal has also done the same. Nigeria needs to work, BAT winning will really kill the spirit of youths in the country. Personally, i would be devastated. 1 Like 1 Share |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How I Got Home After A Failed Job Interview by BrodaAgbaya: 11:17am On Jan 13, 2023 |
I think you should modify your post and include your qualifications, from the thread you can see many people are interested in helping you. Just be careful though. I also think you should broaden your scope and open your mind to think bigger, there are lots of opportunities than secretarial jobs. Wish you the best in your endeavors. 1 Like |

Business / Cocktail Making As A Side Hustle by BrodaAgbaya: 3:22pm On Nov 06, 2022 |
Hello guys, I wanted to make an enquiry here about a prospective side hustle i want to start. I have been working my 9-5 or 6-9 sha as the case might be in Lagos and pay has been good but recently the pay has not been enough for my upkeep due to the ever increasing inflation. Been thinking of a side hustle i could start to get more funds and after a whole lot of research i stumbled upon Cocktail making. This seems like an interesting side hustle for a 9-5 since i could mix weekday night and weekend gigs with my normal 9-5 job. I saw a training school charging 100k for the training and a certification. So prolly after the training, i could get a part time job with a nice restaurant on the island then later prolly go solo and start my cocktail business. To the cocktail makers and others on the platform, what do you think about this?? Is this a sensible plan? What could be the pros and cons?? Also note i currently don`t have a car but with Uber and all, i don`t think transportation should be a problem. I`m just putting all these out there cos i really want honest and sensible answers from different perspectives cos i might be a bit biased in making some decisions. I am trying to be careful cos this year i have wasted some funds on trying to get a side hustle and e still dey pain me tilll now. PS: I am quite outgong, friendly, young and handsome which i feel are attributes needed for an easy career in cocktail making. |

Career / Re: Please I Urgently Need Advice by BrodaAgbaya: 4:57pm On Oct 04, 2022 |
ankiboy: I don book space down, make i calm down type. Okay so i`d tell you a very underrated skill that you can learn, you`d have fun doing it and you`d get lots of ladies at the same time depending on how you project yourself. Its called Cocktail Making/ Bar Tending. Emphasis on the Cocktail making. You see how you got to parties, owambes, clubs, corporate events, birthday parties and pool parties. Asides food, one other constant is alcohol, we love our alcohol. Now cocktails are a touch between alcohol, soft drinks and poshness. Ladies love the light and sweet ones, the guys love the strong and harsh ones. I know of a school in Lagos that charges 100k for a 5 days training, wouldn`t mention the name though. Just giving you an idea of the price that it entails. |

crossbreedwears: I stay in Pedro, and i will need to start walking some distance once the ban is in effect. Infact i don dey walk already cos bike don dey scarce. I highly doubt there`s anywhere in Shomolu not accessible by car, this i`m quite sure of. About being jobless, if you can`t ride in Lagos cos of the ban, leave Lagos and go to neighboring states and keep riding there. No be by force to ride for Lagos. For the crime rate, make them commit the crime first and see where they`d end up. We can`t keep using high crime rate as an excuse to refuse development. A city like Lagos should not have ugly bikes around anyhow. PS; I no get money for Uber or bolt, na keke i go dey jump or i walk. |
