With the high unemployment rate some people are still this picky when given accommodation rent-free, many others would appreciate that accommodation and turn it into something spectacular. She sounds so entitled! 17 Likes |

This place that I'm seeing is not that bad. It looks decent. I don't believe this is her reason to quit the job. I read somewhere in her post where she wrote that she walks in the sun to bring lunch to her boss which wasn't in the job contract. I think that's it. Well, there are two sides to a story. Let's hear from her former employer. 12 Likes |

GardenGreen: That isn't part of the condition and the company isn't doing her a favor. If you say the job comes with an accommodation, the accommodation should be decent and conducive enough for living. She shouldn't be fixing their property. People should watch out for such greedy employers as they can never do any better. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

Perfect words used..I was expecting to see a very bad place, this accommodation is not close to anything bad,I just pity the to be spouse of this employee of the person is not married. The employee is problem to think the toilet and bath is bad ,the main bedroom is not bad, just having old tiles which can be cleaned and kept cleaned always. I hope to know this evil employee. GardenGreen: Well, I respect your view and like your approach to life. Most likely that OP will be a lady. They don't really want to think that way. You are not employed as a management staff for Christ sake. That room there is OK, you just need to tosh it up to your own taste. Or manage it like that and collect your salary. 9 Likes |

Unless the restaurant is some 5 star location where the employees are "A class". I see nothing wrong in that apartment. It is dirty yes, but it is decent. 10 Likes |

Treat people with decency. Nigerians and many employers here don't understand that concept even when they are well educated and know better. To me they are not civilised. There is decency in labour. 8 Likes |

But to be sincere I'll say this lady is really proud and full of herself..You're offered a job with free accommodation and still you keep complaining that the wall is not well painted and the floor is not well fixed.you're there to work and not to show off. Imagine see the foam they even gave her.some don't even have it in their House.. In this life perseverance ,patience and contentment are values that'll take one far in life. I can't remember the last time I slept on a bed.where I work I slept on the floor though tiled..it's not that I'm satisfied with it but I have target and some certain things I want to achieve before I leave..so sometimes one just have to endure some certain things. 16 Likes |

tegrianonigltd: Some of you talk like you are the only ones who have travelled abroad to work before... It depends on the job offer and the conditions...the accommodation might just be a "BONUS"...even many jobs in UK do not give free accommodation to its staff..and if the accommodation happens , it becomes a bonus.. not an entitlement...it is not salary... The house is not well-kept..no proper hygiene...but in terms of size and taste....I have experienced it in Leicester,UK.. make una rest... 7 Likes |
