Christianity Etc › Re: How Have Prophecies Affected Your Life? by brodalikeme(m): 3:58pm On Nov 05, 2012 |
Biblical prophesies has had alot of positive effect on my life. Though I don't accept things just becos there from 'a bible carrying man'. It is always best to weigh the prophesy against the Word of God in the bible, then secondly check under what authority the prophet is even speaking- his or God |

amenamen1010: @poster
I know how you feel as i am a parent as well. My son will be 3 in a few weeks and says a handflul of words rarely and at random.
I have done all kinds if tests abroad from stool, urine, blood, genetics etc...
Basically you need to do the following: 1. Remove all dairy food from his diet - milk products, yoghurt, milk shake etc... do this for 2 weeks and see if there is any improvement in his behaviour. Basically there are proteins - casein protein that they can't digest which is one of the reason they behave they do... ( look at gfcf diet) 2. Remove all food contaiing gluten for from is diet. 3. Only give him fresh produce, healthy foods, loads of fruits - vitmain C is good for them.... no packaged food e.g indomie, pasta etc. 4. Put alot of cold pressed olive oil in his food, and let him take Omega 3 supplements...( please no preservatives in any food or supplements you give him); PURE cod liver oil is good and pure coconut oil.Let him eat a lot of eggs... 5.put alot of Onion and Garlic in his food. Diet is very important, SCD diet is most recommended for them please google it.
Interventions:
Speech and language therapist, occupational therapist and encourage a lot of interaction at home and at school. Go to talkingchild.com on tips on how you can encourage him to talk. You will need a lot of toys, puzzles, shape sorters, flash cards, number and alphabet games etc....
IN the last few weeks my child receptive understanding has improved a lot, now left for him to vocalise. We interact with him daily all day when at home. His school is just for him to interact with other children which needs to be encouraged as they are very much in their world. The real work starts at home !!!! After school he has a nursery teacher who is being trained to teach him how to do things....
Wish you the best! Thank you my brother, your information has been most helpful. It seems the therapist that came visiting us today was reading your post. I'll contact you for more insights. Stay blessed! |

@occam. we visit an ENT ( Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist to determine if he hand problems with hearing and all that. first he was said to be tongue tied. a surgery was performed with no real positive impact. He's had some neurological test too, that was were we started getting the pointers to autism. like i said before, it the lack of concentration and the impaired speech sort of confirms that he is suffering from autism. Thanks for your point of view though. |

Health › My Nephew Has Autism, How Do We Manage It? by brodalikeme(op): 6:00pm On Sep 12, 2012 |
My favourite nephew who is almost 4 years old was having a challenge with speaking, so we decided to do some medical examination. All the results points in one direction- Autism. The major signs or symptons of this disorder he shows are impaired speech development and poor level of concentration.
Before we were confronted with this problem, we knew very little about this health disorder. From what the doctors are saying, there is no know cure for autism, that it can only be managed. The problem with managing it is that there is no clear cut direction to it. Please can anyone who has got an experience in this are help us out. Thanks |
