maziude: Bosses,
Congratulations to everyone that got their approvals recently.
This is to show that delay is not denial.
For those who are in Canada already, I am sure most of our classes have started and the movie script is turning out as we "hoped" it would. The busy schedule will soon take most of your time, but I would admonish us all to at least take out time to appear here once in a while to provide answers to pertinent issues that incoming applicants might have. It is not a requirement but a plea. Any little help will be appreciated. And please stay focused; remember how hard it was to get the TRV (whether first application or more than one, it wasn't easy), so please remember that. If you must have fun, please do but remember to work hard too. In fact, PLAY HARD-WORK HARDER.
Also to the newbies or those who have one questions or the other to ask those in Canada already ( about application for admission, TRV, live in Canada etc), please, go straight to the point and ask. No matter how "stupid", you think the question is, please ask but be straight and concise about it.
To everyone still waiting for their TRV approvals, please hang in there, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. It will surely end in praises for us all.
To the bosses that have been providing answers to questions, may God bless you guys richly. You are my bosses of the century.
To those flying in this month and next month, congratulations once more (and carry my garri when coming sha).
I appreciate.
Peace
Mazi. You are indeed a good person, always willing to help. May God continue to bless you. If them go gree I for bring one bag of garri for you |

Jejelaye01: Flywire portal is very friendly. All you need do is register with a valid email and password and you are good to go. After registration, u select the name of your school and click on start payment. You input the amount you want to pay in a box and you are asked in subsequent column the mode of payment ranging from payment with card to payment with form A in dollars, pounds or exact amount in canadian dollars. If you are paying with form A, You click form A and the conversion is done for you by the system. Once you click continue to payment, your payment instructions appears and it's also sent to your mail (the mail you use in registering). Its this payment instruction you will take to your bank along side your passport, your undergraduate certificate, nysc, ur admission letter and also a kind of authorization letter from your school. With the above you are good to go. But note that the payment instructions from flywire to your bank will expire after 72hours.
Please pardon my tenses. Please did you make your payment from a naira account or a dom account? Its stated in the website that they cannot accept local currency from Nigeria. |

maziude: Hello boss,
Who is or are they?
You dont put what matters to you in the hands of "they" without doing your own bit.
Go to google, make it your best friend and see if you wont find answers that would help you.
If you search and still cant get a good result, come back here with your findings so that people can advise you based on your findings.
This also goes to the newbies, the era of spoonfeeding is coming to a close gradually. Use google or any other website, search for that which matters to your case, then come back here with your results for guidance. That saves everyone including you time and energy.
I wish us well... Daddy has spoken... hope you don arrange your garri warehouse. |

Imagine the money wasted on visa fees ahhhhh this people are corrupt this is one way they're embezzling money Hello, You are putting too much pressure on yourself & acting kinda desperate. You need to calm down, carefully outline all your worries in one post rather than write every time. If you have ordered for your gcms note good, but just put your profile before the house so people can suggest what went wrong with your application. Start with your undergraduate study to your intended program & the list of documents submitted. You can also help yourself by reading from page 0 of this part. With patience & perseverance I believe you will get the next application right. Regards. |

binaboi: Good morning House,
Yahweh has glorifed his name .I give all glory to GOD that i am here to celebrate with my TRV applicants , hopefuls and to encourage those who were delayed. I know exactly where i was this same time last year, on my birthday i received that sad mail that my application was refused due to the reasons :
1. insufficient funds 2. Home ties ,personal assests
Then help came along - I discovered this forum , and read through the relevant contributions from veterans like @maziude, @canadianurse , @Austinpee4 @Osemigho @SURGEE guys you rock ,thanks for your invaluable insight and help.
For guys that were delayed - dont wait start early order your gcms notes . dont rush to re-apply instead think like the VO and ask yourself all the questions that you think may invalidate your application . Your application needs to be watertight to be eligible. You need to convince the VO to see your application as inalienable . Dont see your application from your eyes alone seek help as early as possible -Prov 15:22 'Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed' .
Timestamp :
May 19 - Submitted application ( paper route) August 10 - medical notification received August 15 - Medical passed August 28 - study permit approval mail received
Next awaiting delivery of passport .don't know how long this takes before it arrives at the VFS office in Lagos.

Application Approved!
Exactly 12 weeks after I submitted (I told God that 12 represents completion (12 tribes of Israel & the 12 disciples) and that my eligibility and background must be complete today, even though my eligibility was not being reviewed as at this morning)
Application Date: 5th June, 2017 Approval Date: 28th August, 2017
I sent mails to Accra Like four (4) times reminding them of my resumption date and that my degree requirements can only be fully achieved if I start my program in the fall term.
But above all it was God’s mercy that gave me this approval.
I fasted and prayed, and enjoined my fathers in the faith to remember me in prayers.
I’m still coming with a comprehensive story as I always do, especially with Rocorleone my Guy. As its being said on this forum, you can actually make the best of friends on this forum – God really made our case different.
In the meantime, attached were the documents I submitted. It was written in PanRoman hence i couldn't copy it here but all the same i think being in jpeg is even kind of better as you can easily download for easy referencing,
….they that sow in tears shall reap in Joy!!, He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him Ps 126: 5 – 6.
I sowed in tears and this was God’s personal word to me.
Thank you Jesus once again.
It ended in Praise
More TRV approvals IJN Congratulations & thank God for fulfilling his words in your life. |

shadesofgrey: Hello everyone,
This thread is quite resourceful, I must admit. I am posting this to encourage someone out there. The wait isn't easy, no doubt, but keep the faith, stay strong, above all...pray and praise! It may sound ridiculous especially when you see people who submitted way after you getting responses, trust me, just rejoice with them, key into that great news and watch God work for you. But I also need to mention this, do your research, be ready to know the "ins and outs" of visa application, even the bible says, "Study to show yourself approved..." Many a time, God wants you to take action, before He can begin to work for you.
Kindly see below my timeline:

maziude: Hello bosses,
I think it is high time we all stopped this dissecting issues between which programme is best to go for or which gets your TRV approved faster.
Everyone has a reason for choosing the programme he or she chose be it career change or pre-requisite requirement.
Every application is treated based on the information at the disposal to the VOs and the policy the VOs are required to follow.
Summarily, if
1) You are going for BSc(either as a second degree or whatever fits in here), please ensure you have all the angles covered with respect to VISA application. Submit every relevant and needed documents, have enough funds and proofs to support this fund. Ensure you make the VO see why you are going for this programme especially if you are going for another degree (the VOs might not understand why you are going for this except you explain to them). The onus is on you to prove to them without reasonable doubt that you are indeed a genuine student.
2) You are going for PGD/PGC, please ensure you satisfy or meet the requirements for choosing this. It is one thing to get admitted and another thing to get your VISA approved. If you choose PGD for career change, please include supplementary evidence to back your claim and make the VO see it from your point of view, genuinely. If you chose it to meet a specific pre-requisite (like minimum grade requirement or change of course or because you have HND or whatever you think), also back it up with evidence to show why you need to do this. Showing this and how you show it is entirely up to you, but you owe it to yourself to present the best argument to support your case of being a genuine student.
3) You are going for Masters/PhD whether funded or not. Please endeavor to submit an airtight application. Having a masters/PhD admission whether funded or not does not guarantee VISA (like we have seen in most cases here). So please do your best to do what is required of you. Present your case in a way that leaves the VOs satisfied. Submit relevant and required documents . And if your case is unique (e.g course switch etc), please explain to the VOs why.
VISA approval is possible no matter the cases involved all you have to do is cross the T's and dot the I's, pray to GOD (or whoever you believe in) and trust that GOD will come through for you.
You might not get it at first (Nobody likes this though), but with perseverance and CHANGE OF APPROACH, you will get it.
Everything is truly possible to they that believe, all you have to do is believe and not relent in your efforts.
Once again, it shall end in praises for us all.
Peace,
Mazi
PS: All of una wey dey owe my garri, una don dey use style go silent mode abi? Make I catch una first... Well said boss. But you & this your garri, hope you go get enough space for am |
