Good morning, please I have a question. Am asking on behalf of a friend. She did biometrics last year when she applied for visiting visa, the date is currently showing on her account. Now she has been invited for another biometrics after she passed medicals.
Should she go ahead with the biometrics or contact IRCC?
Thanks |

Jasmine17: Have you watched acrimony? If yes, just remove the battery and cheating scenes.
Thats me. Hi Jasmine17, this response may be coming late as am still in page 127 trying to read up. Divorce may take a long time since she's very bitter with you. While don't you try dissolving the marriage in a customary court. It shouldn't take more than a month, get the documents & add to your application. |

dolat55: Hello house, I am a first timer, I have actually been following the thread, from 1 - 4. Here is my question,
My husband is going to be the principal applicant, he is rounding up his MSC. He has over 5years work experience.
I am also yet to complete my MSC program, and my years of experience is not more than 2 years.
My question is between work experience and MSC for me, and of course with a good score in IELTS for both of us, which of these ( MSC and work experience for me) would help boost our points?
Cos I am seriously considering getting enough work experience, by the time we would start the application and leaving the MSC since its taking forever to complete.
PS. He would be 32 and I will be 31 by next year. We intend to start the application next year.
Thanks Try using the CRS tool to simulate your score & that of your husband. That way you'll know what best would boost your score |

Morning great people, in a situation where a person's former place of employment changes its address, online shows the old address & reference letter shows the new address. What can one possibly do? Is it advisable to include an LOE? |

Fadia: Hello everyone,
Please I’m post ITA and I have an issue that I need opinions on.
When filling my profile I stated that I have an aunt as a “Relative/Family” and who would also be my host. Time to upload documents and I’m seeing that I have to show “Proof of relationship” apart from “Family member proof of status”.
Now here lies the issue, my mum and her sister have different dads and as of now my grandma isn’t married to either of them anymore (I have a third grandpa). How can I show the proof of relationship when my mum and her sister never bore the same last name?
Also, when my grandma was married to my mum’s Dad she was a Muslim but when she married my aunt’s Dad she converted to Christianity and changed her name so her name on their birth certificates (when we eventually find it) isn’t even the same.
My aunt wrote a letter describing the family tree but I don’t know if that would suffice as it’s our word against theirs (VOs).
I want to know how I can go about proving this and if it has any effect on my CRS because I’ve been seeing that people are usually only awarded points for siblings. I think you should go to NPC to get attestation of birth for you mum & aunt. Ensure that the attestation shows their mother's (your grandmother) maiden name that's one way to prove they have the same mother. |

Also make sure you're delisted everywhere including from their website and from the HR and receptionist's brains (in case employment verificatioon by phone call is carried out). Will do that. The firm has no online presence. Thanks a lot |

ysteph: Since you have another employment why not let the firm use a letter head paper that doesn't have your name on it. It's better to keep it simple. I know it's a family firm, but the truth is, you're no longer an associate there. However, if you can explain all these if you get ADR, then go ahead and get the letter with your name on it. Thanks |

Good morning everyone, lawyers please put mouth for this matter. My former place of employment has my name on the letter head as one of the associates & I intend to use it to gain points. The reason why my name hasn't been removed is because my employer is my grand mum (the name of the firm is my surname). Will getting a reference letter from this employer under this circumstance raise a red flag or create room for further investigation?
Should I request for another without my name on the letter head? Kindly advise cc @ysteph, ethelia et al |

Announcing Announcing. The miraculous approval of my TRV after 2 denials (paper based application.
Third application: Online. Submitted April 13th (coinidentally my mum's death anniversary). Medical request 13th of June. Approved 19th. Just saw it today
This application was not in anyway much different from the previous two. In fact it lacked more content than the previous two. No explanation provided for the points raised for the denials, less money in my sponsor's account, no properties document, even my SOP was very brief and just one page.
The difference was just God (i fasted and prayed like never before in my life) and the fact that my sponsor (sister) is now a PR, who is still living in Nigeria.
My pple at Brandon. Abeg make we link up
Profile Bsc Computer Science 18 yrs old Only one sponsor Paid my school fees since first application
Special thanks to MaxiUde, Glitteringstar and Erons. My sister reached out to you guys and you all helped out Congratulations! Only God makes the difference |

jnyuwa02: Sorry been away from online a few days now. What' going on? I will try and catch up. Yes I was persecuted and stood my ground. I remember one belligerent critic of me garnering 36 likes for an epistle he wrote about me. I continued to help people here regardless. Then people started to testify left and right that they won their TRV due to my help. Even those who persecuted me started to approach me for help. One moniker here I remembered famously coined them "two faced." Now I can't even keep up with the PMs. Anyways keep up the good work bro. After 5 Months since I filed my application, I was called for medicals last week. Half down, half to go. USASK Fall 2018. Jesus is Lord!!! Congratulations |

[quote author=bbclue post=65040645]Good pm ...please questions 10....says treasury bill...now my sponsor has a lump sum of 60million credited by cbn. ..and the narration in the bank statement was interest from cbn for N/Treasury bill...for 182days.....and the second was interest from cbn of 24million for 91days.....now my sponsor is not around to give me the treasury bill certificate but on my own i wrote a separate letter of Explanation for lump sum credited by cbn....n I subhead it with date...narration.....reference number and amount......explaining how the money came in...hope it will not stop my application but all other documents like employment letter....payslips are attached ...please advise [/]
@bbclue ask your sponsor to contact his/her account officer to give you certificate of Tbill or tell your sponsor to check the mail sent to him when he initiated the Tbill. Just to be on a safe side documentary evidence is more convincing. |
