Yes. Educated igbos like me would believe because u can't unnecessarily keep killing to get to Nnamdi when u know that more than a thousand sorrounds him. Common sense for sale.
Paranoia. Is there a warrant for his arrest? Has the court declared him wanted? Let me tell you. Nobody had time to be chasing him yet.

If the army wanted to take him away they would; sticks, stones and all.

Don't flatter yourself.

ASUU is the real problem of universities in Nigeria. Next thing for them is to compare university funding with other countries. Can we also compare teaching methods with other countries?

A word to students at home. Learn an IT skill. Learn photography, interior decoration, music production, etc. The parties in this impasse don't care a hoot about you.

I expected this lie.

According to Kanu, sticks and stones can stop armoured tanks and assault rifles.

grin The funny thing is seemingly educated igbos believe this.

If you allow a rabid dog lead you, the consequences will consume you.

Kanu has nothing to offer igbos but defeat and death, reminiscent of ojukwu's misguided approach. "NIGERIA will burn". "I will destroy the zoo". Does that sound like peaceful agitation? Blind people. He inaugurated his BSS and your elders tried to downplay their militant purpose. Now the chicken has come home to roost.

The videos in circulation show young men confronting and later attacking an armoured tank with sticks, bottles and stones. An armoured tank! Was Kanu anywhere near the scene? No. But these misguided young men confronted a military vehicle on patrol. That was very stupìd of them.

Politics › Re: North Cautions Yoruba, Southerners On Clamour For 1963 Constitution by Brugo(m): 5:06pm On Sep 10, 2017
The constitution has no provision for negotiating the unity of Nigeria.

If you want to do so, ask your lawmakers to amend the constitution. SE lawmakers are busy collecting Prado SUVs and "hardship" allowances but cannot push for amendment to include a clause for division.

You lot are here blaming yorubas for the sound defeat you received 50 years ago.

Oya, ask your man Ekweremmadu why he is so comfortable being the butthole of two consecutive Northern Senate presidents. Ask your pdp delegates why they agreed to zone the presidency to the same north ahead of 2019. Now tell me, who is the real slave here?
Politics › Re: North Cautions Yoruba, Southerners On Clamour For 1963 Constitution by Brugo(m): 4:56pm On Sep 10, 2017
If I hear any Igbo mention national conference there...

I said it before and I'll say it again.

Jonathan should never have convened that jamboree he called a national conference. It was a powerless meeting and a wasteful one to boot!

Any national conference that can be ignored or overruled by the national assembly is simply a waste of time and resources. Why? Because it lacks sovereign powers?

You igbos talking trash here. Why did you not ask your senators and federal reps to accept and push for the adoption of the recommendations of that conference? You kept mum because Ebele was your person and you wouldn'the mind your so-called marginalisation as long as he is president.

Bigotry has blinded you lot.
Politics › Re: Atiku Abubakar Replies Twitter User by Brugo(m): 12:29am On Sep 10, 2017
Notice biafrans supporting atiku for president. First they supported pdp to zone presidency to the north now they support this man of all people?

Later they will be shouting "marginalisation".

You people should step up your political game!

I was on business in the UK when Wole Soyinka was interviewed on a popular BBC radio 4 breakfast show talking about why he would vote for Buhari.
That interview is still very fresh in my mind. After listening to Wole was when I realised Nigeria as a country is finished.
I will try and dig out that interview because most of them are archived as a podcast.
Your are right. I have seen links to the effect.

Quite disappointing.

Ignorance is bliss. I'm doing this for others reading this and not for you.

“We were left with two credible contestants in terms of catchment area for the nation. We had reached, in my view, the bottom. I became convinced that if this country underwent four more years under President Jonathan, the country would run aground completely. I looked at the record and said this cannot go on, this has to stop"

“Then I looked at this man who had contested elections three times before and said he would not contest anymore and then decided to throw his hat in the ring. I talked to people and I said do you know what you’re doing?”

“And after weighing all the options, I said let’s try a new one. And since in electoral terms, he was the one, I guardedly, with reservations, announced that no, not a continuation under Jonathan"

"And so very reluctantly, I want this on record, because I made it quite clear, I weighed the two of them and I said this nation stands a better chance under Buhari. And what has been coming out now? Look at all that has been coming out? Look at the figures (loot) which virtually hammer one into the ground just the sheer enormity of the robbery of this nation that is getting exposed progressively. It shows that we did not make a bad choice.”

Soyinka stated clearly not once nor twice but severally that Buhari was a repented Democrat.

If you must know, Soyinka was one of those who called for military intervention to oust the shagari democratic civilian govt and still defends the Dec 31, 1983 coup till this day.

Soyinka is a fraud, a Marxist fool and western destabilising agent.
You are reaching. cheesy You don't need to stretch the truth to suit your purposes. The fact is Soyinka actually spoke against Buhari's candidacy and has never ever support him for president.

That would have got us the product of arresting Nnamdi Kanu. It would have been legal and moral but poorly thought. It would be catastrophic. I know how the pulse of Buhari's supporters beat. I blame men who knew better but sold an ostrich sh'it.

I was disappointed at men like Wole Soyinka who knew better. A man, who in the past, wrote about the outcome of a disdain for Buhari's history. He knew better. Their were other smarter men like Martin Onovo of the National Conscience Party we should had voted for.

Support for this unpopular men/man by a popular person could have rewritten and changed perception and results. The idea that it's either GEJ or PMB is dangerous. Even more disastrous when an erudite buys into such lies. I blame men who knew better, men who informed but chose to be mischievous.
Let me correct this common falsehood.

The fact is, Wole Soyinka has never at any time supported Buhari. In fact, before the 2015 elections, he implied he'd rather dine with the devil than with Buhari.

Keep your falsehoods to yourself.

The fact that Soyinka criticized Jonathan's ineptitude does not translate into support for Buhari.

Actually, you can boast "of" or "about" something.

14. You get covered with sth and not by it.

You could be independent from (no longer ruled by) a country.

Politics › Re: Nnamdi Kanu: "Buhari Is Not In Nigeria, Man From Sudan Impersonating Him" by Brugo(m): 9:01am On Sep 04, 2017
In summary, Kanu is a terrorist who is afraid to return to prison after begging for bail on health grounds.

Throwback:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzg84rCnMPA

I have long maintained that this man is a terrorist who has no regard for any law despite making himself to be a victim who has been denied his rights.

I do not believe in peace, I only believe in justice. So if by law he his deemed worthy of an arrest, and as a result his terrorist group attempt to "bomb Nigeria down to the ground", then every single one of them should be neutralized. 2 million terrorists under oath to his command in Abuja is of no significance to the case of facts before the judge, so Kanu should stop being scared of returning to the prison he voluntarily campaigned to return to. Terrorism disguised as people power will not stop the Judge from revoking a bail that has been vehemently abused.

Those who love to cry to the UN and US, should also send in this video recording showing their leader at his menacing finest. This video is enough evidence to conclude the treason prosecution of the accused. This video is also enough evidence when the anarchy he has consistently campaigned for is unfolded at Abuja.
They will attempt to play the victim card, but this video is all that will matter, to show that the victim propaganda is only a tool designed by the aggressor.

Give this arrogant egoist a microphone, and in due time he talks himself into destruction. I really do not envy his lawyers who have to argue the case of a difficult man who makes their work tedious.

IPOB is a terrorist group, and Kanu is the chief terrorist.

No . You need to explain to yourself first why you hate anything or anyone who is not like you, or who does not dress like you, or who does not talk like you, or sing like you or who does not come from the same family, village, town, or state or tribe as you. When you explain that and solve that problem then all the other problems like, no electricity, no roads, no good hospitals will be solved.
I believe you should answer that first

We already have designs like this in Eko Atlantic City. The only missing thing is electricity. At least for now.

Nigerian leaders need to explain to us why we cannot solve electricity after 56 years of independence.

Of course, its not yet ripe enough for people of her calibre to reveal their true identity. We shall come to that. Chimamanda was mentored and inspired by Chinua Achebe who wrote There Was a Country on his dying bed-there he revealed where his heart has been all these years. That book actually reignited the call for Biafra. Chimamanda wrote half of a yellow sun-another Biafra inspired book. She doesnt need to tell you where she belongs in words before you get it except you are a fool. Action speaks louder than voice

I wonder if we still have exchange program students. Imagine someone leaving his university in a sane country just to be delayed here by ASUU strike.

Students should spend this foolish break learning a skill (programming, catering, interior decor, photography, fashion design, graphics design, shoe making, etc) that may come in handy later in life. I would have mentioned learning the art of makeup but I think there are more artists than clients these days.

Students don't just sit down at home eating and growing fat and coming online to fight political enemies. Engage yourselves.
Politics › Re: Senator Shehu Sani Has A Question For Secessionists? by Brugo(m):
Emotional igbos have started again. cheesy It is easy to manipulate you. Just look at FFK (who unrepentantly objectified prominent igbo women including your hero's widow Bianca); you love him simply because he hates PMB. Even fayose (who's major achievement in Ekiti is to share food with the state allocation and share half-grown christmas chickens using part of the December salaries of workers) is a darling of ndigbo because of his constant vilification of the FG. You guys are in love with "hate". SMH.

Now, look at igbos falling over themselves to hurl insults at this man. Not long ago, this very man, Shehu, was a biafran hero because he opposed Buhari. Now that he has attempted to address the question of intolerance, they are willing to tear him apart. What has changed? Why do you suddenly now remember his origins? grin

Do you igbos realise that the question Shehu raised, can also be directed at those arewa youths who issued the ultimatum against you?

It is a simple question for those who preach intolerance.

Your Kanu repeatedly preached violent (do or die) secession in audio and video broadcasts but the igbos turned a blind eye to his hate speeches. Years later (few weeks ago), some northern youths made similar hate speeches against igbos with an ultimatum, now the whole world cannot sleep because of the noise of the same igbos crying foul. Okay, consequently, they have withdrawn the ultimatum, yet you still insult them. For what? Your wahala is too much.

Please, let us hear word. "Hate jam hate". Kanu insults every other tribe at will. Now they have served you, his supporters, the very same dose of your own medicine, you won't let us rest.

Let me tell you, Hate often breeds hate.

I have said it before that there is not a single good thing PMB can do that would not earn him insults from biafrans. Even if the FG diverted all federal projects and funds to the South East, IPOB would still insult him and wish him dead.

Best solution:

Let all those whom Kanu labelled pigs and idiòts, pack their belongings and leave northern Nigeria. Do not trade with your so-called enemies who are Yorubas and northerners. Kindly face Cameroon and develop it for them thoroughly.

The hatred oozing from Igbos is just too pungent. Well, na you go tire. You had better learn to respect and live peacefully with your host communities. If you want to go your own way, do it peaceably, without threats and insults.
