Ok..thank you sir.

It is advised that you mail or call the airline to confirm before you buy a one way ticket, so you don't have issues with them... Confirm from airline and be on a safer side.. Thanks

Hello all,

Please when a university abroad asks of your secondary school certificate with enclosed transcript of records, what do they mean?

What am I expected to send as my secondary school transcript? For the secondary school certificate, I understand they are asking for either SSCE or WASSCE certificates. What do they mean by secondary school transcript of records please?

To be on the safe side.. Ask waec to send your result for you to the school. Wouldn't cost you much... They will have it stamped and also include ur testimonial from your school and other documentation..

@miles thanks for responding.... We are going through Russia and will leave Russia on the 24th,so I believe from ur post now that we can enter esti that date.... Please did you notarize and legalize the educational docs that you submitted or you did just one of the process? And then what docs should a Bachelor's student authenticate or legalize?

You have to submit 6months statement of account. So the huge amount should be there in the last 6months prior to visa application. And ofcourse there should be transactions in the account too.

Thanks

I gave a general information so that others could benefit.

Congratulations on your first leg visa.

The sponsor must not be same surname according to what I was told by those who have traveled. However, it will be nice for your sponsor to swear affidavit.

Guardian means anyone who is your guardian and is committed to sponsor you.

Check the police and border guard website, you will see where Guardian is stated.

Thanks brother......

Embassy in Nigeria prefer same surname, transactions in statement and huge balance. Although, not all embassies in Nigeria.

Estonian embassies (particularly feedback from India) sponsor who is a parent or a guardian with steady income like 200k naira monthly.

I am particular about the Estonian embassy.. I already got a visa to leave Nigeria.. And I didn't use a sponsor with same surname... When u say guardian, that means we mustn't bear same surname right?

It is just a general visa requirement. Embassies prefer same surname.

I work here and receive my pay slips.... If I put a huge sum of money in my account this month, so I can sponsor myself, and I am gonna apply next month at the embassy, won't it be an issue?

You and your sponsor should bear same surname.
His account balance matters more and not his monthly salary. Take his recent payslips with you on your visa interview day.

I heard of a lot of persons who used sponsors with different surnames, all they did was to include the sponsors as part of family member in their Trp application.. It will be difficult for most of us to have sponsors with same surname...
Or is there anywhere it's stated recently that sponsors must bear same surname? Thanks for ur response as always..

Please about sponsorship.... The man who was supposed to be my sponsor is a civil servant, he earns more than 120k monthly.. But because he belongs to many contribution groups, the money the bank receives monthly isn't up to 120k again..... So bank statement will definitely show lower than 120k...but his pay slip shows that he earns far more than 120k.....can I still use this man?? Please I need ur advices...

Israel
Egypt
Russia

I heard Ukraine visa is easy to get, but we have to wait for someone to use the route first due to what happened last year when someone was returned from the airport.

Ukraine has a strict policy at point of entry, you must be picked up by the person or company who invites you.. But as an international arrival, it is COMPULSORY that someone must pick you up at the airport or you are immediately deported.... I didn't hear that guy's story last year and none of us seem to know the exact reason he was sent back.. But not having someone pick you up at the airport is deportation already

Politics / Re: Expel And Prosecute Omo-agege, Group Tells Senate by bsaying(m): 6:37pm On Apr 19, 2018
The Nigerian problem is more than an omor agege.. We need a new turn, away from the politics of cabal.. We need a revolution that happened in France or Austria where they have young leaders, steering the nation...... Until these old politicians are laid to rest, Nigeria isn't going ahead

They will have to sign at the back of your original certificates when you authenticate them at Min. of Foreign Affairs. The computer centers around the office can help you remove a part of it big enough to contain a signature.

OK..... I never knew we have to authenticate our certificates.... Is it compulsory for everyone seeing that we are almost done with the admission process.. Why should we still authenticate it?

I don't think the Israel people are ready yet. They are still assembling themselves as they wait for admission letters. It will definitely be announced here, or you can keep remind me.

As at today the Israel group is almost set to move for the first batch, about 14 persons already.... Tallinn University has issued letters to many BA students..... I am seriously hoping my letter comes middle of April so that I join the April guys and come back to Nigeria afterwards....
