Keys To Answered Prayer (2) Mon, 6 Jun 2022 ‘If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.’ 1 John 5:14 Knowing God’s will. John writes: ‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.’ (1 John 5:14–15 NIV) One of the surest ways to know you’re praying according to God’s will is to pray according to His Word. Use the Scriptures to back up what you’re praying for. Say, ‘Lord, You promised it in Your Word, and I’m believing You for it.’ Sometimes there are things we want to pray for, but we aren’t sure whether those things are God’s will for us according to Scripture. In that case, you need to ask God to give it to you if it’s His will—and to help you be satisfied with His decision. Augustine of Hippo prayed, ‘Grant that I may do Thy will as if it were my will, so that Thou mayest do my will as if it were Thy will.’ DL Moody put it this way: ‘Spread out your petition before God, and then say, “Thy will, not mine, be done.” The sweetest lesson I have learned in God’s school is to let the Lord choose for me.’ Now you may have to wait, because God’s timing is part of His will. Be patient; it will happen. You may not see it yet, but God has promised and it’s on the way. And remember, if He doesn’t give you what you asked for, He will give you something better when you walk in faith and keep a good attitude. |

Keys To Answered Prayer (1) Sun, 5 Jun 2022 ‘We must believe that God is real and rewards everyone who searches for Him.’ Hebrews 11:6 Just as the right key opens the door, there are Scriptural principles that act as keys to prayer. For the next few days, let’s look at them. Faith. ‘Without faith no one can please God. We must believe that God is real and rewards everyone who searches for Him.’ (Hebrews 11:6 CEV) God doesn’t necessarily respond to your need. Look around and you will see that everyone has unmet needs. So what does God respond to? Your faith! But Satan will try to fill your mind with doubts. And when he does, you need to examine your heart and see what it says. You can believe God’s Word in your heart even when your mind questions it. So stand on what’s in your heart instead of what’s in your head. Sometimes doubt begins with distraction. When you’re distracted from God’s promises, you start to doubt. And as you focus more and more on your problems, your faith begins to waver. When that happens, you must refocus like a laser on God’s promises—and merely glance at your problems. Don’t try to deny them, but don’t give them undue attention. The Bible says: ‘When you ask for something, you must have faith and not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like an ocean wave tossed around in a storm. If you are that kind of person, you can’t make up your mind, and you surely can’t be trusted. So don’t expect the Lord to give you anything at all.’ (James 1:6–8 CEV) Stay anchored to God’s Word, and don’t drift all over the place when your circumstances begin to change. |
Intimacy With Jesus—The Secret To Victory Sat, 4 Jun 2022 ‘I want to know Christ.’ Philippians 3:10 Paul said, ‘I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead. I want to suffer with Him, sharing in His death.’ Let’s take an in-depth look at this verse. (1) ‘I want to know Christ.’ In Scripture, the word ‘know’ indicates physical intimacy between two people who love one another. For example, ‘Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain.’ (Genesis 4:1 NKJV) (2) ‘And experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead.’ What’s dead in your life that needs to be raised? There is no problem that Christ’s resurrection power can’t handle. And how do you access it? When you make intimacy with Christ your top priority, you tap into His power. Some of us would be more comfortable if the verse ended after the words, ‘the mighty power that raised Him from the dead.’ But the truth is, if you want intimacy with Christ, you must be willing to ‘suffer with Him.’ Here, the word ‘suffer’ isn’t referring to a bad allergy season or a losing streak on the stock market. For Paul, it meant being beaten, betrayed, and bullied. But it brought a level of intimacy with Jesus that can’t be experienced any other way. If you have ever suffered deeply with another person, you understand this principle. You will never experience true intimacy with somebody by telling them, ‘I only want to share the good times with you.’ Often, the strongest relationship bonds come from the suffering we go through together; trials that cause us to know, love, and trust each another in a newer, deeper dimension. |

Recognise Your Triggers Fri, 3 Jun 2022 ‘Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm.’ Psalm 37:8 A weapon can either protect or destroy; it all depends on who is using it. Anger works the same way; that’s why it’s wise to know what triggers or sets you off. Some of the most common triggers surface at these times: (1) When your rights have been violated. Is it always bad to get mad? No, sometimes the problem that infuriates you most is the one God has called you to help solve. This world is a better place because of men and women who devoted their lives to fighting disease, poverty, corruption, and injustice. That’s what Jesus did when He purged the temple of extortionists. The Bible says, ‘If you are angry, be sure that it is not out of wounded pride or bad temper… don’t give the devil that sort of foothold.’ (Ephesians 4:26–27 PHPS) (2) When you’re frustrated because things aren’t going right for you. A recent news report told of a man who went hunting on his mountain bike. When it broke down, he got mad and shot it to pieces. That makes no sense! Robert Ingersoll observed, ‘Anger is a wind which blows out the lamp of the mind.’ (3) When you’re under constant stress. Paul writes, ‘Have a sane estimate of your capabilities.’ (Romans 12:3 PHPS) By cramming too much activity into too little time, you set yourself up for stress. Like a violin string that’s pulled tighter and tighter, you end up snapping. Then you feel guilty and think you’re not spiritual enough. Anticipate challenges and allow time for the unexpected. Bottom line: ‘Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm.’ |

Begin To Say What God Says Thu, 2 Jun 2022 ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue.’ Proverbs 18:21 Don’t speak without thinking. And don’t say things that contradict God’s Word. Those aren’t easy principles to live by, but they’re life-and-death issues. The Bible says, ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue.’ That means you can bless yourself by what you say. ‘He who invokes a blessing on himself… shall do so by saying, “May the God of truth… bless me… because the former troubles are forgotten.”’ (Isaiah 65:16 AMPC) Notice two important things in this Scripture: (1) Your own words have more power to influence you than anyone else’s words. In the final analysis, it’s not what others say that matters, it’s what you tell yourself when they’re finished talking. Bottom line: you always have the last word! (2) You will never enter into what God has planned for your future while you’re still living in the past. You can’t undo your past, so don’t relive it over and over in your head. God said, ‘Don’t remember the former things; don’t dwell on things past. Watch! I’m about to carry out something new!’ (Isaiah 43:18–19 ISV) It’s time to come into agreement with God and start saying what He says about you. That’s no small matter. What you say from the time you get up in the morning until you go to bed at night not only influences your day; it influences the entire outlook and direction of your life. If you have been praying and asking God for specific answers, you can affect the outcome by making sure what you say lines up with what He says. So when you speak, always keep that in mind! |

When You Die! (6) Wed, 1 Jun 2022 ‘Longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling.’ 2 Corinthians 5:2 Dr Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, a leading authority on death and dying, and Dr Raymond Moody Jr, a well-known psychiatrist, examined the case histories of over five hundred people who came back to life after being pronounced dead by their physicians. Their research convinces anyone with an open mind. The people in the study described either a location of beauty, marvel, joy, and peace, or they described something dreadful. And although their bodies were real, they reported floating outside them. After being confirmed ‘dead’, some who were blind were able to see. They talked about people who came into the room, what they looked like, and what they did while they were there. Yet when these people were brought back, the ones who were blind could no longer see. In his book Life After Life, Dr Moody writes: ‘A doctor told me of his experience in attending a man who had been pronounced clinically dead. He succeeded in resuscitating the man, who then sued the doctor for bringing him back into this miserable existence from the glory he had experienced. One woman, describing her situation after she had suffered a respiratory arrest, reports that the doctors trying to resuscitate her were pounding on her body trying to get her back while she was over them, looking down, and saying, “Leave me alone!”’ The apostle Paul explains why: ‘For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in Heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling.’ (2 Corinthians 5:1–2 NIV) Bottom line: when you die—you really come to life! |
Eeyah! I'm so sorry for you loss OP. But do you know the best you can do for her is to pick your life up and start living normal again. I mean, I understand especially since she passed on in your arms. It could be so emotional or traumatic for you. But all the same, you need to just carry on dear. I prayed the Lord to give you strength to get on with life in Jesus name. My sincere condolences. |
When You Die! (5) Tue, 31 May 2022 ‘He set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.’ Hebrews 2:15 The Bible says: ‘Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could He die, and only by dying could He break the power… of death… He set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.’ (Hebrews 2:14–15 NLT) Adolf von Harnack had doubts about the gospels but still admitted: ‘Christ’s grave was the birthplace of an indestructible belief that death is vanquished and there is life eternal. It is useless to cite Plato… useless to point to the Persian religion and the ideas and literature of later Judaism. All that would have perished; but the certainty of the resurrection and of a life eternal which is bound up with the grave in Joseph’s garden has not perished; and on the conviction that Jesus lives we still base those hopes of citizenship in an Eternal City, which make our earthly life worth living and tolerable. He delivered them “who, through fear of death, were all their lifetime subject to bondage”.’ Good news: you don’t have to be in bondage to the fear of death! Dr Simon Greenleaf, world-renowned authority on legal evidence, shone the searchlight of his immense knowledge on the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and revealed every thread of that evidence to the most probing critique. And when he did, he concluded that the evidence was so tremendous that in any unbiased courtroom on earth, it would be proclaimed a historical fact. So what does all this mean for us as believers? Simply this: Christ’s resurrection guarantees ours! |
Congratulations Obi Peter. May the good Lord see you through in Jesus name. |

SOLUTION TO TOOTH PAIN Tooth ache is a pain or inflammation in or around the tooth, often caused by tooth decay or infection. Toothache has been one of life's worst nightmares. Throughout history, man has been searching for solution that will help with healing and to reduce swelling and pain. Local plants were recognized for their medicinal properties but efficacy does not last as the pain resurfaces after a while. If you eventually go to hospital to seek for solution to your tooth ache, they will remove the affected tooth and after a while, the infection will be transferred to another tooth, if you go back they will happily remove that one and so on, for me there is no solution there because they keep removing your teeth and making money without solution, until they empty your mouth. There is a simple remedy that solve the problem of toothache permanently and without much cost, this remedy has been tested as trusted by thousands of people who previously had tooth challenges. This remedy is ALUM Alum , is a transparent ice/salt like substance that is used in filtration of pond water, as well as for medicinal purposes. There are various types of Alum such as Potassium Alum or potash. This is the remedy that had been sought, for centuries without success. We are lucky to have it here as i unveil the direction for usage. How to get ALUM Alum is sold in all the food markets in Nigeria, just visit food market and ask of Alum, they will give it to you. After your dinner, brush your teeth with our normal tooth paste, take a piece of ALUM, put it directly to the affected tooth, close your mouth and not swallow your spit (not that it is dangerous to the health), the spit in your mouth is what is going to react with ALUM. After about 10-15minutes, remove the first spit and repeat same again, then you can go to bed. Secondly, before breakfast put a small quantity of the alum at the affected part of the teeth, hold it tight and gaggle the saliva for 10- 15 minutes before spitting it out, after your breakfast, repeat the remedy as instructed, you must definitely notice that the pain had subsided. Do not relent as the pain has gone down, repeat the process for 5days, then watch and see the miracles unfolding. After reading this, please, share with your contacts. Know that everybody will not have the opportunity to obtain this information. Many people are dying in pains caused by tooth ache... COPIED......... |
