[Abeg which select stores are applicable for tax return quote author=telias post=46565080]
Not applicable in all States but Texas does. They are at the Galleria in Houston and Dallas and the airports. However, the last time I did, only items purchased within one month of date of return from the select stores on the list. Was paid half of the tax value though.[/quote] |

Thank God for you and your LO... Its well. Don't worry too much abt d bills. God will help you sort it out somehow..... MommaT: To God be ALL the Glory...My baby arrived 4th June.I used St Peters in NJ, good hospital I must say. VD Bill was 7754, (baby-2136, mom 5618), docs fees was 3000. Hospital accepts cash, cheque or card, no wire transfers. She had a bit of jaundice on the high side, so was readmitted, waiting for the bill for that, Lord have mercy! Just one bilirubin test cost me $180 and we had about 5 or more while on admission. |

Hello Theleaky tribe.. Pls to do it yourself for the visa..is it just the $160 for visa and $30 processing fee? Is there any fees inclusive ??....kinda confused!! Thanks TheLeakyTribe: Contacted both Ambassador Stella and Tanko this week. Prices have increased for both ETC and VISA $320 for ETC (cost of FedEx inclusive), Visa $350.
Much cheaper if you do it yourself buto if you're pressed for time you may want a guaranteed delivery date and you can get it from them. |

MommaT: Please can anyone confirm if 1 carton of indomie noodles will pose a challenge for my mum at POE, I brought a carton which I declared and it was scanned but not seized. However, my SIL told her it's not allowed, from her own experience because it has chicken....mom is worried as she leaves tomorrow night, I also don't want anything that'll stress her at POE.. Any specific rules guiding this? Chicken kwa? ??didn't know that noodles contained chicken! !# |

luckyman23: How's emirate trip to US like. And what is the experience like flying emirate as a pregnant lady My dear, the flight is long......to Houston its 16hrs+. So brase ursef. Depending on where you are flying from...abuja has 4hrs waiting time in Dubai while lagos has 7hrs but on the flight back, you might have 15hrs waiting time at Dubai. While flight is okay..good hostess.... My flight was really empty from abuja to Dubai n to Houston so stretched on the seat....the middle that had 4 seats...thank God but the trip is long.... Dreading the long trip back but the good think is you are entitled to a hotel on your trip back cos of the 15hrs waiting time and then baby has 23kg added to your luggage... Hope I was helpful |
