Good day everyone i need more information about the process of application for the US visa . I want my wife to travel to the US for child birth.

Please i want to know if it is ok to say that she is going for childbirth or rather to say she is going for a visit because we have a family member that wants to send us invitation letter.

Please any one that have passed through the US interview at the embassey recently should please help me out with advice.

To God be ALL the Glory...My baby arrived 4th June.I used St Peters in NJ, good hospital I must say.
VD Bill was 7754, (baby-2136, mom 5618), docs fees was 3000.
Hospital accepts cash, cheque or card, no wire transfers.
She had a bit of jaundice on the high side, so was readmitted, waiting for the bill for that, Lord have mercy!
Just one bilirubin test cost me $180 and we had about 5 or more while on admission.

Contacted both Ambassador Stella and Tanko this week. Prices have increased for both ETC and VISA $320 for ETC (cost of FedEx inclusive), Visa $350.

Much cheaper if you do it yourself buto if you're pressed for time you may want a guaranteed delivery date and you can get it from them.

However, my SIL told her it's not allowed, from her own experience because it has chicken....mom is worried as she leaves tomorrow night, I also don't want anything that'll stress her at POE.. @bubelahot,u can call them back and tell them you do not have time as u still need to process the baby's visa,was told the same story when I called and that I must wait for 2wee ks to travel date b4 booking appointment but I told them I do no have time as I still need to process visa and the appoint was booked and picking up today.

Just go there very early. They always say appointment but most people walk in

Appointment ke. Is it different in Houston? In Dallas walk in appointments are accepted. I applied same day i got my birth certificate. Maybe check another county?

Baby arrived 7.35am on 7th of May, thank God for a safe VD at Abrazo west valley hospital Arizona.Baby and Mama doing good.
