And Black Africans earned lots of money from the trade too. What did they do with it?
So. In your opinion, the money Black Africans earned from slavery is "lots" compared to the money earned by the slavers they worked for for generations and who bred them for more profit?

Sorry IbeOkehie, but I think you need to go purchase a book on the topic and better inform yourself.

A machine is affected by depreciation over time, but imagine that machine could have babies every year that can replace it or be sold.

The below is a recommendation.

Kristi Noem’s department of homeland security took the TikTok video of a real live young black boy and AI edited it to fit a narrative of black boys being violent. Claiming they’re threatening ICE agents.

They endangered black boys lives, were caught in this lie and have not apologized.

I have a question for the resident coons on here.
You’re supporting a party that riling up white supremacist to go after black kids. If your child gets killed as a result of this, is that a price you’d consider fair? Are your children’s lives worth your dream of a white nationalist America?
I have the feeling racial tension is being saved for the second half of dump's current term, and by it's third quatre racism will become a huge thing.

I hope I'm wrong.

Fact is, they can't. And neither can caucasians in US and Europe chase non-caucasians out.

In fact, they are all doing the opposite, including Japan and China, and are inviting Africans to their countries because they need you to replace their aging populations.

Black Africans collectively were the major enablers of the Slave Trade. No amount of rationalization can erase that FACT.
The Africans went to Europe to advertise their product, and built big ships to export said product, and interbred them on site to increase that product to work the land they the Africans owned for profit Africans reaped the most of?

Seriously, I don't really know how to respond to you, especially when I follow the money gained from slavery, which in your version of history, would have flowed to Africa.

The people of the USA...the people who built and organized the nation called the USA...are a wise people.

The major trouble they have now is they've been infiltrated by uncivilized hordes who don't understand the concept of LIMITED GOVERNMENT. Slavery was a terrible error, it opened the door to all these claims of victimization, even from people who SOLD the slaves. And without it I likely wouldn't be a blessed citizen of the USA. And that is life.

Good Luck to Nigeria.
I think you've admitted here that slaves did not have the socialism you claim USA had, but I'm amused you don't seem to include them amongst "people who built and organized the nation called the USA". It's like you saying cotton picking don't count.

But piqued am I by your, "without it I likely wouldn't be a blessed citizen of the USA". It makes me want to ask if you are a descendant, for it might make a particular sense than if coming from a Nigerian in America.

On consideration and testing, I can't but not note the absurdity of saying, 'slavery likely blessed me to be a citizen of my blessed country', like I couldn't have gotten on a plane and come here if some Africans hadn't been enslaved.

Or is it perhaps it's that they wouldn't have let me in if not for? I wonder.

"Rubber stamp senators in the hands of the president" is not as powerful as your single vote that put them there, I want you to know, and this thread is proving.

Even if the current administration is not counting votes and is rigging, they are providing us with the opportunity to learn to count better someday.

Siraj Wahhaj (the elder, imam):Named an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing due to associations with figures like Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, raising suspicions of ties to extremist networks. However, he was never charged, and there’s no evidence linking him to terrorism support or his son’s 2018 activities.

I change my perception based on the situation.
When Ukraine was at a disadvantage and things looked bad, yeah, it makes sense for them to take a deal and surrender. NATO and Biden did not know what they were doing. Now, Ukraine has built its capabilities, and Russia is afraid that Trump is going to send more lethal weapons, so it wants a deal, but the deal Trump is talking about is nonsense.
Think boxing. The challenger is down on points going into the tenth. All the champion need do is last the final 3 minutes and his belt is his. Should the challenger surrender based on the situation?

Or say Formula One. Should Verstappen accept defeat already?

Incidentally, dump's deals are always nonsense, including the nonsense one he's trying to impose on Hamas and Israel, which neither side intends to agree to.

Let's first be clear about something. The reason you want your "girlfriend" (I love how you slyly promoted her by the way), to not move so far away is because she'll not be so easily accessible.

Now that's clear. What exactly do you want?

And how much you willing to pay?

That second question is because you might want to consider putting the sister and friend on your pay roll plus their rent.

How does a country build such prosperity? By applying free market capitalism. When people get rich, they tend to voluntarily spend on healthcare and are more willing to pay private market prices.
Surely you mean, "when everybody gets rich", unless you want me to think the rich will pay for the poor peoples' healthcare.

Socialism in healthcare works on the premise that the poor will always be amongst us and the rich often don't give a damn. And besides it made economic sense to care for the sick or their family would have to and thereby reduce the workforce by more.

It, socialism in healthcare, has had its time, I think, because education and the promotion of healthy lifestyles has helped mitigate quite a lot of illnesses, some perpetuated by free market capitalism - cigarettes and coca cola and bleached chicken come to mind.

I don't agree the market should be so free it has no oversight and I bet you don't too. And while I might concede that it's we the people who should organise and oversee, we don't seem to be able to without forming a government, so it's kind of circular, it seems.

I chuckled when I read, "though policy makers must keep the Lafer Curve in mind as they plan for revenue generation", and had to look it up to remind me, having recently read the following which shows the getting around curves by kicking Lafer into the future.

Asking staffers to list 5 things they worked on this week and send to their managers caused so much anger and uproar. Things that are normal for many private sector workers
You seem to like to not associate who's asking from the question or think it doesn't matter, and you don't even consider whom you are asking.

I'll skip the first as there's no point rehashing Musk, but imagine the binperson. All he does is wake up at five 5-6 days a week and collect bins till say, 10am, done. What 5 things does he write?

And imagine the lawyer, juggling lots of cases in court. Can you understand the disdain at being asked such a question of which one would be, I responded to your stupīd question?

I worked in both sectors, and no one has ever asked me to "list 5 things they worked on this week and send to their managers". As a manager, I'd be insulting my own intelligence if I don't know what my staff that I am responsible for paying are working on such that I need to ask them to send me a list. In fact, my staff will not respect me ever again if I disrespect them that much, and I think that is so not normal, it is abnormal.

They need DOGE
A better directed DOGE, yes. And past governors have tried, mind.

Bisi Akande, Governor 29 May 1999 – 29 May 2003, told his kitchen staff to stop killing 2 cows everyday in the governor's house because only his wife and he lived there and they can't eat 2 cows. From now on they must buy only 2 kilogramme of meat a day.

The people said he's selfish, that only he wants to eat. They labelled him Baba kilo, and kicked him out in one term.

Aregbesola, holding my nose, Governor 27 November 2010 – 27 November 2018, said he can't pay the bloated wage bill of Osun State, he had to let about a third of them go. The unions said no. "How could you? Don't you know government wage is all many families live on?"

So he offered half wage for a short while, that ended up like half wage every second month, and many wailed.

Which is why I'd argue that it is the people who are responsible for the leaders they elect and how or whether they monitor what they do, and for letting them know if it's liked or not by voting them in or out.

This, after all, is why you blame Palestinians for what the Hamas they elected did on October 7, no? And why we blame maga yous for dump.

We know healthcare is the number one justification for socialism. We know.
A good one, no? Considering the current system leaves so many without healthcare because they can't afford to call an ambulance?

I've benefitted from UK socialist healthcare. I used to moan at my National Insurance Contributions until it saved my life. There's no way I could have bought the care I got if I'd been relying on my personal insurance or funds, and trying would have significantly negatively impacted my living.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC1127305/

Add education as co number one justification for socialism, because it reduces the uneducated in the society.

US can not socialise healthcare, though I should never say never. And UK is trying hard to privatise more of ours.

The more important parameter is the FUNCTIONS of government, which determines the size (number of employees).

Good Luck to Nigerians
I am not disagreeing with you. My own Orolu Local Government is bloated because every local government chairman employs more staff, though there's no work for them to do. Those who come to the local government just sit around doing nothing, and there's loads more collecting wages without ever working at all. Some have even lived in UK for years. Yet, we can not find anyone to staff the local government library.

Which is why I've selected the above from yours, and even left in your "Good luck", though I don't agree with luck.

Is it really "the FUNCTIONS of government" which determine size, or the purpose of those that are elected to form the government?

I ask because I'm trying to figure out what the function of my Orolu Local Government might be, if we have one at all.

I'd have appreciated dump's staff cuts if they were not biased and unAmerican.
