Nigerians are too poor because we lack energy. With energy, we'd produce more and earn more and buy even more energy. Just the increase we gain in efficiency alone not to talk of the reduction of wastage and increased learning opportunities, would boost our economy immensely.

What pains me is, many people still haven't learnt how after, "let there be light", there is light, but I'm glad we are reading it because I am very certain more will eventually understand what we read, and why, and how and eventually, when.
