Core services accelerated to 4.5% annualized in July from June (+0.36% not annualized), the worst in six months, and the second month in a row of sharp increases, and it wasn’t housing costs that did it (blue in the chart). The three-month core services CPI accelerated to 3.2%, also the second month in a row of acceleration (red). https://wolfstreet.com/2025/08/12/feds-nightmare-cpi-inflation-in-core-services-worst-in-6-months-pushing-core-cpi-to-worst-in-6-months-some-goods-prices-fell-others-rose/

benalvino3:I do agree, Except they might not have the necessary skills. Go on. What skills must a chinese iphone assembler have? And don't just read the first page that comes up, dig the links too then tell me if you think magas qualify en masse as they might in China and as I hope we would too. Chinese iPhone assemblers need a combination of technical, practical, and interpersonal skills. Key skills include strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, problem-solving, and the ability to read blueprints. They also need to be proficient in quality control, basic math, and maintaining equipment. Furthermore, teamwork, communication, and the ability to stay focused are crucial for efficient assembly line work. |
benalvino3:They do outsource burger flipping, just gone are the days to humans. McDonald's has autotills these days. You press buttons for your order and put your money in a hole then collect your big mac. Skills involved in assembly of iphones include turning up on time, attention to detail, dedication and diligence and so on. Pretty much the same as burger flipping to be honest, just as bit more technical |
benalvino3:Factories close because of better lower skilled workers elsewhere too, then production is outsourced elsewhere. My only angst is that "elsewhere" is not Nigeria yet. Americans are not stupid. Least not all of them, which is why some care about the green agenda. It includes not polluting your drinking water with your waste. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2023/aug/17/pfas-us-drinking-water-contaminated-forever-chemicals-epa |
benalvino3:Isn't that the way of the world. Tokunbo boku for Naija, is that not we actually going to the so called "democracies" to import their rubbish for ourselves? Those smart democracies. Cleaning their environment at the expense of economies that are emerging. Those "emerging economies" should perhaps stop accepting money to have democracy's waste dumped on them is what I think. Or is that not the self responsible thing to do instead of asking those who clean their own environment to dirty theirs? Yes. Higher cost of energy for living in a democracy is the price as I should know. It's just a pity the emerging economies have not learnt yet to get a bigger slice of the pie. And with basilicos sort in it, I don't expect that to change soon.

benalvino3:Not only twice. Super powered your General God buda ordered more Nigerians to not "neutrally stood at the corner and watch things played out". Trust me. I am very sad the same powers did not work for Obi or against dump for that matter. I must try harder next time. benalvino3:You are not the first to say and it always brings a smile to my face, because you think it's insulting or a bad thing, when I accept the compliment thank you, and that's apart from the fact your opinion of me and most things matters not an iota in the scheme of things to me. benalvino3:Stupidity must be destroyed ben. |
benalvino3:I might have caught you at use your brain moment. Know I shall stop obliging when you stop using it, but first. You know I am responsibly antigun and not stupid, so how could anything I do or say involve the use of guns? Explain how and what you mean by, "when all you are doing is outsourcing greenhouse gas". I accept your "you" is general. |
PDPGuy:Not only unemployment. Employers are complaining they can't find workers too, and the unemployed can't pick crops nor do they have H-1B skills to make chips. Dump did promise to fight illegal immigration. He just didn't understand his fight would negatively impact legal immigration too. |
benalvino3:You don't understand we are willing to pay more to save the planet because you think everyone is selfishly centred like you. |
LordReed:It's holy indeed my Lord. I got on a plane and came to the NHS where wonderful doctors performed miracles on me while my cousin died in Nigeria. That put a nail in any desire I might feel to moan or be sorry for myself. I'm often angry at myself though for not knowing better despite ma trying hard to convince me it was village people. I should have known better. |
He might have to fire it or teach it to lie. budaatum:7 more characters needed |
cococandy:Same thing happened when Nigerians voted for Buhari. My attitude then was, if the majority want him who am I to say no. My disappointment however was his 2.0 was far too watered down for my liking. I would have loved benalvino3 who wasn't alive during his 1.0, to experience 200 year prison sentences for corrupt officials, but Buhari went democratic on me, sadly. |
bayelsaowei:You wouldn't believe basilico's job is solar panel installation. They must not be painted green, so he probably doesn't think its to do with energy. |

Yes, it is possible for a child to have a different blood type than their father. This is because blood type is determined by genes inherited from both parents, and the combination can result in a blood type different from either parent. https://www.thetech.org/ask-a-geneticist/articles/2016/parent-children-different-blood-type/ |
Sirchiboy:You are speaking all this from training "a female relative"? Is it also a waste of time training your daughter who is a female relative? Would you say it is a waste of time training Nigerians if you train one Nigerian and it does not work out? |
marlow1962:I can deny you sex because you are inconsiderate, insensitive, I'm not in the mood, my hormones are playing up, I don't like the fact you screwing someone else and might give me a disease, and so on. If only we made love instead of you having sex, I'd likely be begging you to. |
Google search with your question as written, then a follow up with "in Nigeria" at the end for surprise. |
It sounded familiiar. Opiti99:https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/108651-my-husband-denied-me-sex-for-10yrs-i-want-divorce-woman-tells-court.html |
Kobojunkieee:I can just about imagine some judge in a court ordering me to lie there and get fuqed. In fact, brave is the person who fuqs on a judge's order. Such can't value their life and existence much. Here's some history on the matter. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restitution_of_conjugal_rights |
LifeOfTrigga:I think she is losing big. For someone keen to shed the weight of Nigerian origins, she appears to make much of them, if negatively. Nigerians in the diaspora tend to obsess about three topics: making money, Premier League football and Nigeria. Of this cohort, Badenoch sounds like a recent “Japa” (a person who migrated from Nigeria usually to the west) who just cannot stop talking about “back home”.

Brahamimo:No I haven't. Have you seen my profile to see how to email me? |
Eastcoastboy:You been reading through my threads? That's impressive. You thank your God for my life, and I say amen. I don't mind your God working on my behalf, and 'amen' is costless. buda does not believe. buda seeks to understand. You don't need my approval to share. |
Brahamimo:No! I'm not a Christian. I do go to church sometimes though. Got this wonderful old woman who walks very slow, the journey from her 5 minutes away house takes an hour. I love walking with her. |
Eastcoastboy:No I did not hide it from my folks, nor did I treat it with kid's gloves. It was my ignorance. I should have known not to bath in that water, but it was not resistable after a hard day of farming. Read about it here. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/schistosomiasis/ And read about my treatment here. https://www.nairaland.com/4437570/gospel-according-luke/1#72867008 buda is not a Christian. |
