I so wish we Nairalanders could be as organised as these propagandists. |
benalvino3:I feel you do not know enough about colonisation, or you think you need to be chained to be enslaved. Nigeria under the British was solely for the benefit of the British. All your work in your garden was for their benefit, which in my book made you their slave. Amazingly, they were so smart that just as you can't see Adam was a naked ignorant slave, so do you not see you were enslaved under colonialism. Thankfully, those who fought for independence, having stepped out the garden, knew better and returned to free you despite your claim of being a lucky slave. I can just about see you then fighting to retain your chains. |
Verstappen penalized all the way down to 10th.

benalvino3:Hopeful, Martians will be too smart to be colonised by you humans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VJT2JeDCyw?si=f_9aTAPRJxjeMjk_ |
benalvino3:I never said colonisation was all bad. It is my opinion that if you had not been colonised, you'd still be selling yourselves and killing twins and believe the spirits in the forest are killing you. My argument is, you had no choice in being colonised because you were less knowledgeable than those who colonised you, and along with that colonisation was your enslavement, which you think was good for you. |
Spotlight001:Read the rest here: https://www.nairaland.com/8440080/opinion-trumps-talk-pardoning-diddy I wasn't aware dump was pardoning Diddy. Makes me think Weinstein will be pardoned soon too. He sure has enough money to pay for one. |
bemeruca:The text says, "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made". Tell me. When you rest do you not start work again afterwards, or does rest mean retired and worked no more? I do not expect you to see what I see, or you understand how your interpretation encourages ignorance, which is what those who refuse to eat fruits of knowledge are. Look at Nigeria where we are afraid of knowledge. When we say "Let there be light", the response is not, "and there was light", it is Nepa! But look at China's development over the past 25 years. Not only do they eat fruits of knowledge, USA is screaming China is stealing their fruits of knowledge. Put buda in the garden of Eden and the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is all buda will eat because buda does not want to be knowledge malnourished and a slave to anyone. Kill me if you don't like it, but if your killing is anything like God's supposed killing of Adam, I'm guaranteed at least another 50 or so years at least, and would leave a decent number of descendants behind. |
bemeruca:Babies too can reason, one might argue, but I doubt you'd lose a reasoning competition to either. |
bemeruca: Genesis 2 King James VersionVerse 5, along with the others bolded, explicitly imply the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" on the eight day after he had rested. After the Lord had then formed the man from dust did he "planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed". But that's not even the conclusive evidence. The fact Adam was not given the same duties and pay as the Image shows they couldn't possible be the same creation unless you want to argue God decided to demote the Image to a naked ignorant slave, which he's unlikely to be able to do since they are themselves in God's image with the same powers and abilities and might resist being enslaved by their peer. Hence, slave Adam. |
The below is my response to your https://www.nairaland.com/4508641/american-politics-thread-trump-47th/5145#135566029 that bot got.

basilico:See the bold? That's like claiming one can understand Chinua Achebe's Thing's Fall Apart by not reading the pages in their published order, but by jumping around the chapters like church reading is. And if that is a philosophy you adopt when reading anything, it would explain the numerous unfounded conspiracies you post here without bothering to see if there is any connection apart from you love for dump. You are a Christian, so I would suggest you go pick up a Bible and start at page one and work your way to the end. You might even see Yahweh evolving from some angry fire and brimstone god into meek and gentle forgiving Jesus. As for your "If Jesus didn't resurrect then xtianity falls flat in it's face", it's a pity you think this way, as it's like claiming if the tortoise in Things Fall Apart did not claim his name was All of Us it would not have the sections on its supposed cracked shell, or that there is nothing to learn in the stories of the hare and the tortoise you read as a child. Jesus does not have to have died for Christianity to have merits, because, regardless of his death, love your neighbour and turn the other cheek still has immense value, along with a lot of other fictional stuff in the Bible, if understood. In fact, the Bible has merit as a book in its own right whether you believe it or not. In case you don't know, your Christ is risen indeed only when you understand, otherwise, you just crucify your Jesus all over again. |
basilico:Adam was not created until Chapter 2, so that instruction could not have been given to Adam, who after being created on day 8 after God had rested on the seventh, was put in the garden to tend it. You don't rule and subdue the earth if you are a naked ignorant enslaved gardener. |
Maeve7:They'd rather be lied to, and the liars know their sheep. Hence their alternative facts for the gullible. A US government report on children's health cited "totally fabricated" studies to back up its findings, academics wrongly listed as the authors of those studies have said. |
bemeruca:Is that not why animals can not reason and plan and dominate and rule and subdue? Humans who do not eat fruits of knowledge are not much better than animals. |
This just shows an inability to comprehend due to the inability to use ones own senses to look for oneself and see, and it is a mistake many make too that allows them to accept they are slaves made from mud as opposed to rulers and dominators and subduers in God's image. But I am not in the least surprised since you already admitted a preference for knowledge that is revealed to you (which includes how you must understanding the text concerned), over experiential knowledge (which is how your own eyes and your own mind might see), so I don't expect you to see what I see with my own senses. bemeruca:Genesis Chapter 2 clearly provides detail of additional creations after God had created both male and female in his own Image in chapter one and found them to be good, rested on the Sabbath, and then created ignorant slaves from mud to tend a tiny portion of what was created in chapter 1. Damn! God didn't even bother finding Adam good, which to the discerning might imply less effort was inputted to the molding of the mud, which makes sense since its job was to slave in a poxy garden. What God told Adam is not what God told his own image, and the food Adam was to eat is less than what the image was given to eat. One might argue that Adam was slaving in the garden to tend the fruits of knowledge for the Image to eat, since it's eating is a requirement for gaining the knowledge and ability to rule and subdue and dominate and multiply, but I think that might stretch you way too far. |

basilico:Adam was not supposed to multiply and fill the earth. He was put into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Period. Those who do not eat fruits of knowledge can not possibly "multiply and fill the earth"! And its precisely because enough of us Nigerians do not eat fruits of knowledge that makes our multiplying slow and our dominating and subduing next to zilch. At the moment, we are even struggling to tend the Garden of Nigeria just because we do not eat sufficient fruits of knowledge. |
bemeruca:God could not possible have been talking to Adam in Chapter 1:28 because Adam was not created until Chapter 2. See above. |
benalvino3:No it is not talking about Adam and Eve when God created humans in his image in chapter 2. And if you had been paying attention you would have raised this point so we thrashed it at the start of my stretching where I said the following, which at the time I knew hadn't been understood by you. budaatum:Genesis Chapter states clearly that Adam and Eve were created on the eighth day, after the God had rested on the seventh day, and after "creating the humans in his image both male and female created he them" on the sixth day. Their job descriptions are different, the image being told to rule the earth and multiply and subdue, while Adam was told to tend a tiny poxy garden. And their pay/reward is different, with the image being told to eat every fruit from every seed bearing tree while Adam had a pay cut of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Besides, God can not possibly have created humans in his image from mud because that would be a hypocrisy that contravenes the second law as given in Exodus which states, "You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below", and unlike magas forgiving grab them by the pussy, billions in the world would not have forgiven that God (though I'm sure they would, considering the wuruwuru most do to justify the ungodly). Saying Adam and Eve is the Image of God is step one in your enslavement by those who brought you the book. They themselves were not working in any tiny garden and not eating fruits of trees of knowledge. They were using the knowledge they nourished themselves with to get on ships to go dominate the entire earth to subdue the people they found where they got to so they themselves can plunder your wealth and multiply while you eat there fearing fruits of knowledge is deadly poison. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlYE6vgGeSQ?si=MeoqJbprQQBUwTBq The above is a song the Brits sang on their way to enslave you. Note how its full of rule and subdue and multiply, and tell me if it does have similar sentiment to "free Palestine from the river to the sea". We might have resisted them more, I'd think, if we had heard them singing it when they first arrived on our shores, because it clearly hints at their intent. |
basilico:Do you understand what you wrote at all? Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. God was not talking to Adam in Chapter 9! Adam died in Chapter 5. |
benalvino3:Yes you do need to possess superior knowledge in order to enslave people. Ignorant people don't make ships to travel hundreds of miles with guns they made to go enslave anyone. And if the people you want to enslave have superior or at least equal knowledge, it will show in their ability to resist being enslaved. benalvino3:If you shoot me and I die 10 years later, it could still be said that you killed me with your gun, but if you say I will die if you shoot me and I live another 10 years after you shot me, most might conclude you are either a lousy shooter or your gun is fake. Regardless, Adam was very very fruitful after he was supposed to die but instead gained independence, for not only did he bear Seth and Cain and Abel and a few others, his descendants are said to have populated the earth. If that's death, kill me now please. |
basilico:Show me where God told Adam to "Go ye forth, be fruitful. Multiply and fill the whole world". |
benalvino3:The dominion Adam had over the garden was no where close to “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground” that was given to the image of God who was also paid a whole lot more than Adam was paid, including the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. benalvino3:The fact that you are not joking is what makes this sad. If you read what you wrote carefully and stretched a bit, you would hear yourself say you would rather be a slave than a free man so long as you are fed. This is the ignorant mentally amongst most blacks. They refuse to pluck the fruits of tree of knowledge and emancipate themselves because they are programmed to think knowledge will kill them. It's however not only a black people thing. Britain was enslaved to Rome for like 1500 years until an Eve gave King Henry knowledge to eat which opened his eyes so he could see to tell Rome to go do one. We Nigerians will do the same when we too finally eat fruits of knowledge and our Eyes open and we see. And thankfully, it wouldn't take us 1500 years because time moves faster now. |
benalvino3:Pull the other one, why don't you. Adam was 130 years old when he was kicked out of the Garden, which showed he was only willing to obey his master for that long, or rather, had to because it took that long for Eve to have had enough of slaving. Point is, Adam never asked for any eternal life, and I don't think eternal life is even worth it if it meant eternal naked ignorant slavery. Arguing otherwise is like claiming Nigeria would have been better off it it had remained colonised today, or the blacks in America and South Africa would have been better of if they had remained slaves and apartheided respectively. Some may indeed like the little they have as slaves, but some of us would trade die for our freedom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV-fKSbe92U https://www.nairaland.com/attachments/19304942_screenshot20211030173535_jpeg7b7036d3fc64c74d6a91f769e7622369 |
benalvino3:Did you not say its a fairy tale? If that's true, no God revealed anything and we are talking about a story in a book, likely written by ancient men who by nature were anti-feminists. And if that's the case, one must consider the years of programming some have done with the book. I put it to you that in order to enslave people you must have more knowledge (power) than them for starts, and you must deprive those you enslave of that knowledge least they acquire it and rebel against you. https://oaklandliteracycoalition.org/literacy-by-any-means-necessary-the-history-of-anti-literacy-laws-in-the-u-s/ https://www.britannica.com/event/Bantu-Education-Act https://www.aa.com.tr/en/world/almajiri-a-legacy-gone-bad-in-nigerias-north/183887 benalvino3:If Adam had died when he ate the fruit of knowledge I would agree with the above, but in the case of Adam it was more like saying not to have sex without protection or you will turn into stone, since Adam did not die as he was told he would if he ate the fruit of the tree he was told not to eat. The God in that narrative lied, but I guess you can't admit that least you burn in hell. |
benalvino3:I doubt you would see the flaw in the above, but I'll try. Revealed knowledge is like CNN, Breitbart, MSNBC, Fox News, Wiki, dump, pastor, Imam, Wapo, etc,. Today, they reveal the so called knowledge, but you are suggesting I just believe them and don't use my own senses to experience and gain knowledge. Its like saying, just accept what you are told and don't seek with all your own heart and all your own soul and all your own mind and time and strength for knowledge and the understanding that comes with it, and sounds like braindeadness to me. If you put buda in the garden and say "don't eat fruits of knowledge", just the mere fact you labelled it so positively I'd eat nothing else. Otherwise, "if you want to hide something from a black person" would have to apply to my ignorant self, for which I'd consequent myself by bashing my own unused head against a rock. I can assure that such an ignorant person is more likely to fail if you gave them all the money in the world and the information to farm land, since personal verified experience is required for successful farming. |
benalvino3:The so called warning was a warning against a lie, since Adam and Eve never had to bear the consequence of "surely dying on the day they eat thereof". In fact, they so did not have to bear that consequence that the God just threw them out of his garden so they had to bear the consequence of life itself, "eating from the sweat of their own brow". Adam was after all not 130 years old before he became free and bore Seth, after which he lived another 800 years as a free self employed responsible bearing individual. Bem, if you tell a child, "I will beat you if you....", you are not informing that child nor are you educating it. What you are doing is creating a person you want to control, and is similar to earth is fallingnism. benalvino3:I think you place far too much support on funding. I personally do not think all the funding in the entire world would make a difference if those you give it to do not have the knowledge the long term farmers had about climate and storage and what to plant or rear when and where to ship to and sell, etc. Or do you think those you take the land from will hand over that information too? benalvino3:I suggest you go read Genesis 3 again where the consequences of eating the fruit of knowledge is clearly stated. First, the fruit was "good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom", all consequences. And "they realized they were naked", another consequence. "So they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves", thereby going even much further by mitigating some of the consequences of eating the fruit. But I'm certain you meant the supposed punishment the God is written to have imposed on them, so lets look at those. I'll ignore the snake for its comedy. The first, I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children, is just a fact of life. The animals that God never said this to also have childbearing pains. Besides, its not so painful to make most women avoid childbirth considering how many have more than two kids. And the process of making those kids is usually enjoyed, to boot. The second sentence, Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”apart from it really having been written by male chauvinistic pigs to control women just as God tried to with his "on the day that you eat" lie, men actually do desire women more, and now that womens' eyes are opening more, men are even being ruled by women. As for the man's supposed punishment of "you must work before you eat". I can't see why that shouldn't be desired as government policy, unless you want people to eat without working. I am not blaming external forces for South African blacks being unable to farm land or we Nigerians failing to manage the industries we took over. The facts however are that we did not have the knowledge had by the people we took over from, and therefore were bound to fail. |
basilico:I keep telling you to go sign up as dump's lawyer but it seems you like litigating your case on Nairaland. He needs you! All tariffs imposed on 2 April, plus the fentanyl tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico are blocked. |
I am often amused when humans complain about inflation especially home owners. Would they prefer their major asset to deflate I wonder, but I'm sure I'm just stretching it or the complainers are not. The gradual deflation in house prices began about with covid (my conspiracy mind wants to say before way back when the Fed Rate went zero), and has gone on since even while many were yelling inflation. https://wolfstreet.com/2025/05/26/the-10-big-cities-with-the-biggest-price-declines-of-single-family-homes-from-their-peaks-through-april-7-to-21/ |
