Pelicanbrief: How long must we continue to put up with this criminal attitude of yoruba people? As long as you refuse to realise Yoruba people are not the only ones with criminal attitudes. But for that to happen your sort would need to address your bigotry first, since its a crime, or should be. |

nateevs: I told a friend the moment he won that this is the end of America as we currently know it. I think I must have also written it on here that with these idiotic enablers, the US is sleep-walking into 3rd world territory.
It's never been his impending unpopularity at the end of his third team that should be the safety net. It's also never been that 2/3 of the Legislature will not sign up for a 3rd term, even though everything Republican is expected to fall in line.
The worry for me has always been ( and should be for everyone) the fact that he will engineer the Executive government to a point where all vital positions necessary for resistance when the time comes are rendered completely inert. Pro Trump.
And then when the time comes, he'd just do a Babangida and say fvck it, I am not leaving, what are y'all going to do about it? And by then, it will be clear to all and sundry that the Judicial and Legislative arms of government, Federal and State, are just a group of people literally, with absolutely zero power.
Most of the Nigerians supporting this circus have forgotten what it means to live under Military rule and political insanity.
As much as it pains me to say it, this is where the US is heading. Political Anarchy. They are like some Nigerians today crying for a military coup. They likely never knew what it was like then or were the ones benefitting from the anarchy. |

Livelystone01: I dy talk about somebody there about an issue na. If not bias you'd see it was a compound statement I was making. Competition of crack-heads was what I was talking about, not life's competition.
Why will I be against women's natural competition? I have a wife and she's a professional and a career lady. She's her own boss about her life and I do not have any issues with that. My statement was about a lady who do not engage but throw insults like crack-heads. Perhaps be specific instead of generalising so it's assumed you mean all women, especially if you are advocating for maga who's policy sounds like The Handmaid's Tale. Its so hijabish. |

What they didn't know was that the cases helped him and boosted him to become the president as neutrals saw that he was being persecuted. Dems were rather stupid with this. Though he did need to be persecuted for Jan6 if nothing else, Dems should not have been parroting his name all the time and thereby increase his profile. |

annolomy: I'm afraid my girlfriend doesn't love me, but only after the money she receives from me. She loves you before you give her money, and then stops loving you once you've given her money and she's received it? Now that's simple. If you want her to keep loving you, just stop giving her money, since from the above you sound like you are paying her to not love you. But if you want her to keep not loving you, just keep making sure she receives money from you. Those other questions you asked are above my pay grade, but to be honest with you, a relationship where you have to decide to buy or not buy love is not exactly solid, I would have thought. |

cococandy: He lied to them that he didn’t have anything to do with it and they believed him.
How do you communicate with someone whose been lied to over and over again and they still choose to believe the liar? He is an awful good liar though. President Donald Trump has given his party’s frontliners some cover to oppose cuts. He told reporters last month he would “love and cherish” Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. He told Fox News in an interview that aired Tuesday night: “Medicare, Medicaid, none of that stuff is going to be touched.”
But Wednesday, on his social media network Truth Social, Trump endorsed the House spending blueprint that would require Medicaid spending be reduced by billions of dollars — placing vulnerable lawmakers back in a tight spot.

For when Canada is begged to drill baby drill. At issue, the American Petroleum Institute explains, is the fact that despite being the world’s largest oil producer, at approximately 13.5 million barrels daily, U.S. demand is 19 million barrels daily (American energy exports to China totaled more than $14.4 billion in 2023, the group says).
For now that gap has to be filled by imports and Canadian crude oil is plentiful, the easiest to transport to the U.S., and the most reasonably priced. Additionally, the American Petroleum Institute emphasizes, the 4 million barrels imported daily from Canada, refined primarily into fuel for transportation and agriculture, goes to refineries in the upper Midwest built specifically to process Canadian crude. Those facilities are not capable of refining either U.S. or Mexican crude oil.

I’m even also hearing that the housing market in the DMV is reeling in anticipation of the tens of thousands of federal employees/contractors that would soon be laid off, because most of them may struggle to pay their mortgages/rent.
As you may know, most American workers are 2-3 paychecks away from homelessness, so don’t be surprised to see an uptick in rent/mortgage delinquencies in the coming months; unless Congress approves a CR that would actually pay the laid off federal employees from March through September This is so we know where we starting. Down from the 2022 peaks: Prices in 21 metros of our 33 metros are down from their 2022 peaks. Some by a smidge, others by a lot. The list of decliners from their 2022 peaks is led by the metros of Austin (-23.3%), San Francisco (-11.0%), Phoenix (-9.8%), and San Antonio (-9.1%).

I gleaned through and saw this (attached). Just wanted to make sure we are on the same page before proceeding or ignoring. It's an opinion. And one does not believe opinions since that is not what they are intended for. That said, my opinion is, Ukraine is in a good position and has been since Russia invaded, because Western Europe can not just stand by and do nothing, and haven't. They'd have been in a bad position if they had been Mongolia or Kazakhstan, least as far as Europe is concerned. And to be honest, apart from dump kissing up, I do not really see how Russia's position could be said to be better or even good. |
