If Nigerian Police could operate in the United States of America, that lying Trump would be in jail. |
Samantha125:Are you South African? |
You must have been born post 2010, and don't know you just turn the vinyl anticlockwise to rewind, or lift up the needle and place it somewhere further back from the centre. |
Samantha125:I think your argument here is way outside the scope of this thread. And the way you mention South Africa makes me presume you might be South African (confirm please), which definitely would make you view this issue from a completely different perspective than a Nigerian might. In UK, how black people treat themselves has no bearing on the general treatment of black people, because we are mandated to be blind to race, age, sex, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, religion or belief, and sexual orientation by the Equality Act 2010, which influences my own perspective and view. In Nigeria, tribalism (and genderism, if I may), is more of an issue than race. |
Britain is generating IGR from passers through and those who otherwise entered free. |
I can't see where you gave a reason why a countries passport holder can freely travel or not. Is it because the top countries' passport holders on the Henley Passport Index are more likely to go back home while the lower ones would stay where they travel to? |
helinues:You do know that ancient Rome and ancient Greece refers to like 1000 years before Christ, right? Whether they have or haven't abstained or not is not evidence for "LGBTQ started from the church most especially the Catholic". |
helinues:It is not about culture. And no one is saying "single handedly". If a father has only daughters, those daughters will, in most cultures, fund their father's burial, as extended family tend not to care so much about burying another persons dead parents. Even if "Family is the one making decisions for burial in Nigeria", family are unlikely to be the ones funding that burial, I have found. |
helinues:No, I didn't know "LGBTQ started from the church most especially the Catholic", because I generally do not know things that are untrue and that evidence and facts don't support. Homosexuality in ancient Greece https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_ancient_Greece Homosexuality in ancient Rome https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_ancient_Rome Homosexuality in China (where the catholic church did not exist) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_China

helinues:Male in extended family, not being a son of the deceased, does not trump a single daughter burying her father. |
helinues:Shows how stupid both their adherents are. Hopefully, now the atheists are attacking them, their enemies enemies might become friends, though I'm glad they lack the intelligence for that. |
Nigeria is about to become the worlds largest importer of crude oil due to our own incompetence. |
helinues:It wasn't about Muslims having 2 heads but about the unruly behaviour of the so called Christians who predominated Nairaland and felt their Bibles told them to hate their neighbours if they are Muslims. It is also why we must now have "lā ʾilāha ʾillā-llāh, muhammadun rasūlu-llāh" stuck on our profiles if we post in the Islamic section. It keeps the mindless trolls out. |
helinues:To be honest, I did not remember until you mentioned it. It was like 12 years ago, so easily forgotten and missed. It was: 17. Don't post anything that could be considered offensive to Islam, especially in the muslim section. And uproar got it deleted (as this thread might be now I've posted it here). |
I do not agree that your "desire to go back to school is still burning within me", because if it were burning withing you you'd have gone back to school already. And you are "thinking about learning a skill or thinking about job hunting" instead of actually learning a skill or job hunting. You were 20 once and are 30 now, and will be 40 soon, so stop thinking and go do. P.s. I know it's not easy, but you'd be posting the same thing when you are 50 if you don't get off your ass and put the effort in now. |
You just noticed, lol. https://www.nairaland.com/1284549/rule-17-should-revised#15638876 Seun: |
Samantha125:The colour of the lecturer is irrelevant in Nigeria where everyone is the same black, but I do agree "that the lecturer could've told her to go out and not return into her class until she put her hair in a bun or pony tail". But this is Nigeria, where lecturers treat pupils like 3 year olds, and the 3 year old in this instance should have known better since there are rules. |
helinues:I must add mine to yours. I bet its your gari he is drinking, since he wouldn't bother saving any gari for after his babe leaves. nifemi25, stop drinking your gari with him! |
Samantha125:The institution they attend is not asking them to cut their hair short. It has rules, and if they'd kept their hair according to those rules of their institution, they'd likely not have had it cut, is the point here. If you arrive at work as a nurse with your hair long in a UK hospital, your matron will tell you to go bun it. |
Samantha125:You should at least do some research before posting. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31343535/

I love the fairness with which you don't say he's not guilty. |
basilico: FIRST ON FOX: A New York Court assigned a new judge to preside over the civil fraud case against President-elect Trump brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, seemingly replacing Judge Arthur Engoron, but hours later, the court put him back on the case, sources close to Trump's legal team told Fox News Digital. |
mariovito:Only the very ignorant and the lazy will believe this. https://carm.org/islam/have-there-been-changes-to-the-quran/ |
I remember a time when the word 'merit' carried weight — in schools, in corporations, even in politics. It was simple, wasn't it? The best person for the job got the job.In Nigeria, right? That must be the reason I got the job Seyi Tinubu wanted, and why many companies in America would hire a black person before a white person. Merit. I'm the best person for the job. |
It wouldn't be the first time the holy books have been improved and bad bits edited out. The problem today is far too many people will notice, since they these days have the books in their languages which they can read themselves instead of in languages they are told are spoken only in heaven, and any changes will make the word of the gods impermanent, which will reduce the esteem placed in them. So, instead, we improve our understanding. Some are, for instance, slowly beginning to realise that Adam was not created in God's image, and was an ignorant slave in the garden of Eden until Eve freed him. Such people are now refusing to accept that they themselves were created from mud, since the God in who's image they now assume they were created was not created from mud. The New Testament was published in Britain on May 17, 1881, and three days later in the United States, after 11 years of labour. Over 30,000 changes were made, of which more than 5,000 represent differences between the Greek text used for the Revised Version and that used as the basis of the King James Version. Most of the other changes were made in the interest of consistency or modernization. |
Do you know some model their toes, and some their tongue? Some even model the brain in their head, though you'd need to expand the meaning of model to include that. |

Chemlite:I did not tell him to take the child as his. I specifically told him that if he can not love the single mother with her baggage he should walk away and not stay and make her miserable. No one, least not me, is forcing him to be with the woman he confesses to love. |
Triangles1:I do not believe you watched the video of this teacher "scold a child". Please watch it and tell us if this is how you'd want your child scolded. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyrI8Ckc8hM?si=VmAeMlB65oIHg_tC |
Hushpuppy20:Glad to see you have found your level. You will live long. |
Michaelladi1:And then come and teach us the easy way. |
