Factcheck0001: so are u telling me all APC members are yorubas?
So it can't come from a northerner or any other person
N besides d last time I checked u are igbo, so what's your business if anyone insults a south south man
This idea of putting your head into another man's fight is what I dont understand
But it isn't another man's fight!
Since it has to do with Nigeria as a whole, it's every Nigerians fight regardless of tribe or tongue, an observation Tinubu himself has made, and which is one reason I criticise him much less than I otherwise might have.
Factcheck0001: one thing about all u obi fans is that u are empty.
Pity you feel the need to inform us that in your own opinion us Obi fans are empty.
It kind of warns us not to bother engaging you since you've already decided we have nothing inside us and would only be casting our pearls before swine.
Temidayo9: Cameroon, to go and buy cocoa come sell in Naija
I must agree, lol. Op, I hope you know that 2 million naira is like 1000 Pound sterling?
For reference, I checked Lag-Lon-Lag on BA (you need the return for visa), and it came to $1,276.80, which equals 1,027.77 Pound sterling. So, I suggest you limit your japa to inside Nigeria, like the next town in the same state so returning home wouldn't be too cumbrous.
soartrends: Tinubu step aside or be kick out of Aso rock Nigerians are tired of your incompetence
I couldn't be bothered with the video, note, because it is Nigerians who incompetently allowed Tinubu to be president, and they should start doing something now about kicking him out at the next election when we are given the opportunity to, or he'd rule for another 4 years, when, hopefully, we'd really truly be tired of incompetent rule.
I must add though, that even bring Obidient, my jury is out on Tinubu, and I don't think he's incompetent.
Nnamdipapa: Buda nwanne, I consider you as a brother, you might not know it. I am on a crusade to the the mentality of the "AVERAGE" Nigerian on the street. That is the only way we can have a better Nigeria.
Sister, I think you will face problems with your crusade because you will be pigeonholing people into what they might not be.
Nnamdipapa: Sex is glorified in Nigeria and Africa in general and someone has to do something about this.
Please start by cutting off the pigs' diqs. I would gladly be your knife sharpener. But I don't agree that sex is glorified in Nigeria. There's a lot of women for instance, who don't glorify sex, and just let the pig do his business and get the fuq off me.
Nnamdipapa: Go back to Threads on NL and see how how boys deified ....
The opinion of loud ignorant immature kids does not prove what you think it does. Many who read about the dude from Equatorial Guinea just shook our heads and did comment about the ignorant deifiers.
Nnamdipapa: Is " deserving of criticism" Not a subjective contraption?
Any comment by a subject is subjective.
Nnamdipapa: If you feel, he is not deserving of criticism and, the other guy feels otherwise, does it make it a tribal affair?
Of course it doesn't make it a tribal affair! I after all do find Yoruba me criticizing Tinubu to Yoruba people who defend him. Hence my criticism of your "average".
Why blame criticism, or support for that matter, on tribalism if your own perspective is not tribal?
Nnamdipapa: Are you going to teach people how to criticize their president? Don't you realize, for the most part, emotions play a major part in criticisms?
I'm obviously not "going to teach people how to criticize their president". He's their president, they can go murder him for all I care, though I'd rather they got off their asses and elect a better president at the next opportunity.
And no, I don't realise that for the most part, "emotions play", since I'm fully aware that many ignorantly choose whom they voted for, and selfishly stupidly collected ₦x000 to vote for the president, or didn't even bother voting at all so the current president won, etc. I'd say ignorance played a more major part, but put that down to my very subjective opinion since I have not done statistics on the matter.
Nnamdipapa: The average African man with the mentality of sex being a big achievement. I can bet with my smooth-shaved balls he has no plans for the kids to follow.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to generational poverty!
Here's you with that "average" again!
I know you feel you must educate buda, but I hope you learn the error of averages in this context. Its a word used by those who refuse to see individuals, and is an excuse for being a bigot.
Nnamdipapa: You are wrapped up in confusion brah and I will try my best to provide valuable education to you are your ilks.
I am Igbo and it does not matter what my moniker says. What matters is there is no way you can disprove my claims of being an Igbo.
OK, let's play your game. You are a Fulani!
Also, you accused me of tribal bigotry and you are totally wrong? I find no meaning in tribalism and it has never made sense to me. You can pull up my history and you will see nothing that supports your conclusions of tribal bigotry.
Not everyone is like you brah and you need to change.
Now, my dear Budaatum, how do you feel when people from other tribe criticize Tinubu? Do you see that as a tribal slur?
The tribe of the criticizer is irrelevant if Tinubu does bad and deserves criticism. And a slur or insult or whatever against and about Tinubu does not in any way affect budaatum.
If you catch a Yoruba thief in Onitsha market, you will not put tyre and pour petrol and light match on buda because buda is Yoruba. Unless you are an ignorant bigoted fuq, of course.
And for your information, a slur against budaatum on Nairaland is not seen by budaatum as a slur against budaatum. At best, is just the slurrer sitting somewhere making crap up about the buda they know nothing about, (just as you have accused me of doing about you, note).
sonmvayina: I know the musician the OP was talking about. He is late now. When I saw him last two years. He was almost 90 years old, his skin was like that of a new born baby...that is all I will say.
He is a famous musician. Well all those saying that mammy water don't exist are still sucking their mothers tities..
If I open my mouth...let me just leave it.
There is a different between water spirit (people like me) and mammy water. Just as God made the earth for human habitation, he also made other living things in the sea. . That is their dorman just as earth is our dorman.
They are not wicked more than we are. If you hurt me, I know what I am capable of doing, so if you hurt them...well, just swallow sniper, Because you are as good as Dead...
People in cold climates rejoice that the 4090 has helped them reduce their heating bills, while those in hot climates are complaining their aircon is overworked. So, a 5090 might have to be placed in a freezer in Naija, I'm thinking, or we can perhaps reengineer it to convert heat to electricity.
Nnamdipapa: Now, to the cruz of the reason for this thread, why does an average Yoruba feel criticizing Tinubu is tantamount to a tribal insult to the Yoruba race?
You see that your "average"? To me it screams ignorance, and is an attempt to hide your own bigotry that you are trying to impose on others as if there aren't many Yorubas not only criticising Tinubu but daily insulting and heaping curses on his head.
abba190b: gambling is very big curse oo. I wonder why I sold all the things that I own. Even a phone I can no longer afford. In the morning I was hungry and begged 500 naira instead of me use it buy garri, I told myself why not double it nd have a proper meal now i have lost it and my hunger continue. Truly I am in a deep shit
Gambling is not a curse! It is something you chose to do and didn't stop doing and now its got you in trouble!
Fortunately for you, you are getting ready to beging to heal yourself, or you would have continued lying to yourself that it is village that made you choose hunger over gari when you know it is you who told yourself to choose hunger.
abba190b: Its not my fault I am certain my village are behind it if not I would have stopped since
You keep irresponsibly lying to yourself that its not your fault but your villages fault.
If you don't take responsibility and accept its your fault, and go and seek help at a gambling addiction clinic, you'd be posting 'kidney for sale' threads eventually if you don't first turn to armed robbery and kidnapping, which I wouldn't be surprised to find you've turned to already.
9japride: They will eventually be conquered totally as being done in other middle eastern countries that were once Christians.
You obviously know nothing about UK. If you knew how almost impossible it was to impose Catholicism on UK after they had decided them no want, and how difficult it was to impose their own home made protestantism on its people, you wouldn't be here falsely claiming Islam is being imposed on UK.
I'm posting this for boasting rights, knowing many had it much harder and tougher and had to do a lot more than I did.
budaatum: My life back then when I started going in 79-80, was selling 5 boiled eggs for ₦1 or canned Coke for 50 kobo at Lagos-Ibadan Expressway tollgate from 8am to 6pm on Saturdays during term and Monday to Saturday during holidays.
Money earned went to buying school uniforms and shoes for me and my 4 siblings, and I'd make extra for myself by buying eggs and coke cheap off the lazy sellers and selling it after selling all mine.
Motor tyre will roll over my pre-teen foot often while I chased the bus so they don't run off with my money which they sometimes did.
Before 79, like in 75, ma would buy too much orange at Onipanu market and put some on mine and my older cousins head to go sell on the streets of Obanikoro. I was not yet 10 and sold only few of mine, but I think she sold lots because punters were buying a look at covered tits.
Factcheck0001: so what will he b eating for d 2 years he's learning?
He already has a job. It pays him 85k a month, he can continue buying food from that. The apprenticeship is like Sunday school. He can attend after work and weekends.
I think some of you think my suggestion of mechanic or computer mender or photo etc were to make him an expert in any of those skills, when in fact, just changing oil, which he'd learn in month 1, for his friends and those they recommends, if done right, could likely earn him 85k a year. And that's not counting transferrable skills he'd find more marketable and profit from in the future.
Perhaps consider my suggestion as a seed. You never know how big and productive it would be until you grow it and it produces fruits so you may see.
papadivi: Yoh, that's the truth. Play along first. However, when they transfer money to you, don't be in a haste to check your account balance or open your app. The scam is in you checking your balance, using your correct pin, which somehow gives them access to wipe clean your account.
So, when they send you the money, use a wrong pin deliberately the first time. This cancels what ever pending request they sent.
It takes two to tango. This bird has learned to fly without perching. 🤣🤣🤣
deluckiest: we've been married for the past 11 years. I can't really tell why she's doing it. But it started when I was in the University and warned me not to have any female friend. Guess, she's feeling insecure.
11 years and she hasn't found anything incriminating on your phone yet?
If so, consider her a blessing, and continue as you have. You'd appreciate her more when you celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary.
And yes, she's doing it because she's insecure. And your trustworthiness is her blessing, and the fact you are not a pig.
bluefilm: But why would you suggest mechanic job for him?
Mechanic job is not for the faint hearted at all
It is a very tedious and highly technical work
Only those who really have passion for fixing cars should go into mechanics
It is not recommended for someone who is looking for how to increase their earning power, within a few years
And it's true, mechanics don't earn that much
It is mainly the well established ogas in the business who are earning quite a lot because of years of experience, expertise and referrals
I am an engineer but nothing on this earth will make me go in mechanics!
I suggest that the OP go into businesses like solar and computers
Did you miss my "Do note, other apprenticeship opportunities (like computer mending, or photography etc) may exist and be more up your line"?
I suggested an apprenticeship because becoming rich is not for the faint hearted, and learning mechanic will teach him a skill, which he lacks, and show him the hard work required to become rich, which he'd need even if he decides to take your advice and go into business.
Please see telim's post below regarding his rich mechanic.
telim: your are wrong those that fleece there customers are often poor because they hardly get refferals or recurring customers due them being criminal minded. My mechanic is not in any high brow area and it is difficult to locate is shop as first time customer. He relies mostly on refferals and recurring customers but one thing is certain with him if you follow is advice your engine will last for a very long time.
Have being using my car for 5 years plus without any major engine problem due to his advice. This is the main reason we all like him. Things like car scanning is free and he also import original benz part and engine oil from abroad.
And Blitzking's who listed other things one can apprentice in.
Blitzking: Learn bricklaying Electrician Pop...wall screeding etc Phone and laptop repair Fish farming Poultry farming Tiling Photography..a very lucrative job Keke driving if u are street..just look for hire purchase and learn the street rules Barbing...not expensive you can learn in 4 to 6 months and become a pro Aluminium Dry cleaning Catering...small chops...shawama..pizza Carpentry and interior design Data analysis if u are into tech Programming..time no too dey for u..u need to start earning fast Pos stand Tailoring Making shoes Look for anything g you can buy and rent Snooker stand..Once u ahave started making money from other sources you can have it by the side Food stuff business..but u need family support for this one or good savings. The list is endless...hustle while you still av energy..time is going bro.
LordBiden: But I have never seen a rich mechanic. Except for the abroad based ones. And the trade is not for the weak.
And who told you you might not one day be abroad? Or that it is the mechanicism I am sending you to learn?
But I guess I can now clearly see why you are scared. You are weak, meaning you are lazy and not willing to learn to work hard for your future, which is what the mechanic I suggested will teach you.
No need to argue. UK is already conquered by those from Islamic countries. They only have themselves to blame. It's not really my business. We shouldn't shouldn't pretend about it. Change is constant, so if the UK prefer that kind of change there is nothing we can do about it.
UK is the land of Darwin and evolution. It constantly changes just like every where else. But UK is not conquered by those from Islamic countries, and you have not provided any evidence that it has been.
Even Christianity that had once conquered UK has been defeated, as UK evolved into a more secular society, so why would you think they'd let themselves be conquered by some other religion?
