9japride:I used my special eyes to look on UK road, even took photo of a London bus, and can therefore safely inform you that there is no presence of anyone in UK telling anyone in UK, who, if not that its winter 2⁰ would be wearing pant and bra on the streets, that they should wear Hijab. And since I can't take your word for UK that I can see with my special eyes, I'm unlikely to take your word for Europe unless you are actually there or can see Europe with your own special eyes.

Merry100:Some pastors must have loads on their backs or they might not need planes to carry it, I'd have thought. |
Tesla is the world’s largest battery-electric vehicle manufacturer. https://tridenstechnology.com/byd-sales-statistics/ |
Bede2u:You asked for one and I gave you one, stop with the wiggle, I never said it was the norm. My point is, the oppression of women is cultural, though, and rather unfortunately, Abrahamic (and many other) religions outrightly promote it, or what's with the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man, considering God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them? There are those of us who see the anti-hijab movement in Iran and America's my body my choice as the same anti-women oppression, note. |
feedthenation:Message to President Musk. Tesla sales fell last year for the first time in more than a decade, as demand faltered and rivals gained pace. |
9japride:Show me please, in which country in Europe are large numbers of women advocating for hijab enforcement. A link will do. 9japride:And how is it a problem that some women happily wear what they want to wear? Some do wear hijabs because their family compels them to, note. 9japride:Actually, those who japad would inform you that their japaism has made them realise they were imprisoned in Nigeria and are now free. Buy I guess we ought to ask them instead of feeling up crap. |
Candidlady:Leave is not always the best solution, especially if there's kids. She could train her husband to carry a bit more weight. She just needs to know how. |
9japride:Show me one European country where "their women", whom I think are glad to escape the oppression, "start advocating for wearing of hijab and propagation of Islamic law". Even their own women in their country are protesting, you'd find. https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20240915-iran-two-years-after-mahsa-amini-persecution-and-defiance |
Bede2u:Tunisia is about as close as it gets. • Men and women in Tunisia have equal divorce rights • Domestic violence is illegal • Abortion is legal for any reason for the first trimester • Birth control is available over the counter. • There is no law against not covering your head. • Workplace discrimination is illegal. Tunisia still has a lot of problems (being LGBT is still illegal, etc.) but in comparison to many other places they are doing very well. (Quora) |

Merry100:The Bible says, or rather and unless you got a talking Bible, it is written in the Bible that "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God". So yes, the pastors are supposed to be going to hell, though I do have suspicion that "pastors set ridiculous standards" for others but not for themselves. Thankfully, woe! As for you. You make pigs cower ![]()

Ojiofor:It is not religion that oppresses women today. Just like then, pigs oppress women. I'm posting this for the image so you have an idea what my focus is on. https://www.nairaland.com/7959111/helping-man-vs-helping-woman/5#127825720 |
Ojiofor:Sir, this is like me claiming in the days of Mohammed. Fact is, since those "days" of the religious leaders, women are subjugated in both religions and in most other religions and cultures too. basilico:Biden done it! One person has died and seven others have been injured after a Tesla cybertruck exploded outside a hotel owned by Donald Trump. https://news.sky.com/story/one-dies-and-seven-injured-as-tesla-truck-explodes-outside-trump-hotel-13282630 |
Ojiofor:Subjugation of women by some using a corrupted version of Islam, is how I would put it. Christianity did the same for centuries, so I've learnt to not put the blame on the religion itself but on those who practise not as well as it can be. American Christianity has been a horrible place for women. It ignores them, abuses them, assaults them, objectifies them, oppresses them, and then attempts to theologically rationalize it all as being “Biblical” and “holy.” The Church has been a willing co-conspirator in the widespread affliction of women. |
Kukutenla:Even with beat your wife written in the Quran, humans should learn to evolve. We wouldn't after all blame a religion if a father were to put his own son to death because he cursed his father or his mother, his blood is upon him.

Ojiofor:Hausa's, in my opinion, are the most oppressed tribe by Islam in the entire Nigeria, them being ones the Fulani imposed islam on first and the longest. I'm not suggesting Fulani Islam is bad o. Just that Hausa's will do what their Islamic leaders tell them to, and the oppression of women is the first step in the use of religion in controlling and dominating tribes and people. Ref: https://www.nairaland.com/7351620/story-adam-eve-makes-sense#117003826 I found government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid on social media platform X.

I checked for the government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid on social media platform X but couldn't find the post where he said this, though that might be due to my Arabic deficiency. https://x.com/zabehulah_m33 If any one finds a link to the post, it here pls so I can let them hear what Sanusi thinks. In fact, anyone know Sanusi twitter so I can share this with him for comment? |
The traditional educational system in the Muslim north, which forms the bedrock of Islamic scholarship, revolves around a set of books introduced to the region by the Almoravids, centred on Maliki law, with the Mukhtasar of Shaykh Khaleel as the magnum opus. Let me say that the education itself is of a high standard. It is difficult and requires a strong sense of discipline and commitment. Yet despite all its strengths it is bedeviled by all the usual problems linked to a stagnant system. It encourages rote learning, does not welcome imagination and, most dangerous of all, perpetuates the myth that scholars living at some historical point have somehow transcended the limitations of mortal knowledge and offered solutions for problems they had no idea about.Shariah and the Woman Question By Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Check authenticity please. I have not yet confirmed source. And Happy New Year.

If he can pay cash, of course its a good idea, though better is he get a mortgage so his own money is available for other uses. As for it being worth it, I'd suggest he look into what he would do if a tenant refuses to pay and leave or if he incurs a huge repair bill. A person living in his house for free will quickly lose him equity. There's always insurance though, to mitigate losses. |
LandMann:You hear, seun? This https://www.nairaland.com/8306409/defamation-vfd-microfinance-bank-dapromzy333#133536461 Does look like its warranted though. |
ShadowMarking:Do you have contact details for Sanusi? I can forward this to him so he knows not only you is concerned. Here is his facebook (I think) https://www.facebook.com/ThisIsHHSanusi And I found this: info@KanoEmirate.org https://www.gamji.com/sanusi/sanusi16.htm |
Coldrux: ShadowMarking: The6thAustralia:I doubt shaming Sanusi with .1k will compel him to notice you exist, but if you think it might, just write him first so when I send him .1k in your name he'd know who I'm talking about. Please include your plea to him here so I have an idea what you told him when I intercede on your behalf. |
Shokoloko:There are Nairalanders older than me still. Happy New Year. |
Coldrux:My love does not compel me to feed you. |

Coldrux:But I indeed will keep my .1k. |
