There is no need showing you evidence. Their presence are seen in UK and all European countries.

UK is almost conquered now.
I used my special eyes to look on UK road, even took photo of a London bus, and can therefore safely inform you that there is no presence of anyone in UK telling anyone in UK, who, if not that its winter 2⁰ would be wearing pant and bra on the streets, that they should wear Hijab.

And since I can't take your word for UK that I can see with my special eyes, I'm unlikely to take your word for Europe unless you are actually there or can see Europe with your own special eyes.

I was just pulling your leg. The "eye of the needle" that the verse refers to is an entrance in Jerusalem. Camels can only conveniently pass through it without a load on their backs.

Many pastors are well-traveled and enlightened in several areas. Information like this should be so common so that we will not just assume that the Bible encourages poverty.
Some pastors must have loads on their backs or they might not need planes to carry it, I'd have thought.

that's great. Hope you realise though that this is an exceptional case. Which means it doesn't represent the norm
You asked for one and I gave you one, stop with the wiggle, I never said it was the norm. My point is, the oppression of women is cultural, though, and rather unfortunately, Abrahamic (and many other) religions outrightly promote it, or what's with the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man, considering God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them?

There are those of us who see the anti-hijab movement in Iran and America's my body my choice as the same anti-women oppression, note.

---Message by 'President Musk'---
Message to President Musk.

Tesla sales fell last year for the first time in more than a decade, as demand faltered and rivals gained pace.

The company, led by billionaire Elon Musk, delivered almost 1.79 million cars last year, down about 1% from 1.8 million in 2023.

This comes despite the company lowering prices repeatedly last year in a bid to woo buyers and hold on to its rank as the world's top-selling maker of electric vehicles (EVs).

China's BYD, however, looks set to close the gap after reporting 1.76 million EV sales in 2024.

The Shenzen firm's total vehicle sales jumped more than 41% in 2024, year-on-year, to more than 4.2 million.

In all hijab enforcement in European countries, there are large numbers of women advocating for it especially during protest.
Show me please, in which country in Europe are large numbers of women advocating for hijab enforcement.

A link will do.

9japride:
And many of them happily wear it in European countries.
And how is it a problem that some women happily wear what they want to wear?

Some do wear hijabs because their family compels them to, note.

Actually, those who japad would inform you that their japaism has made them realise they were imprisoned in Nigeria and are now free. Buy I guess we ought to ask them instead of feeling up crap.

The funny thing in all these is that when their women eventually travel to other European countries, they then start advocating for wearing of hijab and propagation of Islamic law.
Show me one European country where "their women", whom I think are glad to escape the oppression, "start advocating for wearing of hijab and propagation of Islamic law".

Even their own women in their country are protesting, you'd find.

tell me one Islamic society that gives women equal rights as men?
Tunisia is about as close as it gets.

• Men and women in Tunisia have equal divorce rights

• Domestic violence is illegal

• Abortion is legal for any reason for the first trimester

• Birth control is available over the counter.

• There is no law against not covering your head.

• Workplace discrimination is illegal.

Tunisia still has a lot of problems (being LGBT is still illegal, etc.) but in comparison to many other places they are doing very well. (Quora)

Christianity requires wisdom. Lazarus managed his life and still ended up in Abraham's bosom. Some of you are just like Lazarus; you are content with anything, even if it is not convenient, while some of us are like Abraham, we will enjoy life here on earth and still have some of you in our bosom in Heaven. 🤣🤣🤣 Or are all those pastors with private jets, while you don't even have money to buy a bicycle, going to hell? 😂😂😂
The Bible says, or rather and unless you got a talking Bible, it is written in the Bible that "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God". So yes, the pastors are supposed to be going to hell, though I do have suspicion that "pastors set ridiculous standards" for others but not for themselves.

Thankfully, woe!

As for you. You make pigs cower smiley

Even in early days of christianity women played major roles and women was dignified when Christ himself ruled one man one woman unlike in Islam. There is no comparism between Islam and christianity on rights of women in the society.
Sir, this is like me claiming in the days of Mohammed.

Fact is, since those "days" of the religious leaders, women are subjugated in both religions and in most other religions and cultures too.

Subjugation of women in Islam for sexual exploitation is pathetic.
Subjugation of women by some using a corrupted version of Islam, is how I would put it.

Christianity did the same for centuries, so I've learnt to not put the blame on the religion itself but on those who practise not as well as it can be.

American Christianity has been a horrible place for women. It ignores them, abuses them, assaults them, objectifies them, oppresses them, and then attempts to theologically rationalize it all as being “Biblical” and “holy.” The Church has been a willing co-conspirator in the widespread affliction of women.

Regarding the most important issues related to family, education, careers, healthcare, finances, politics, safety, and even spirituality, Christianity has continuously prioritized men at the expense of women. To question this status quo is to be branded a “troublemaker,” “heretic,” and other terms too demeaning to even utter. This toxic religiosity, often branded as “Christianity,” has socialized its adherents to dehumanize women related to every aspect of our society.

Islam represses women
Women can be beaten by their spouses in Islam
They can be enslaved for sexual purposes
Their words are less than that of a man
And a man can have four of them with enough concubines as he wishes
Lastly, Islam teaches that there will be more women in hell than men, and also those women in hell will be taken to Paradise to serve as sex slave to the men there
What repression is worse than that? Suffer for life, suffer for heaven cry cry
Even with beat your wife written in the Quran, humans should learn to evolve.

We wouldn't after all blame a religion if a father were to put his own son to death because he cursed his father or his mother, his blood is upon him.

But Hausa people still dey build windowless ba shiga houses.
I no no whether they use women swear for them in Islam.
Hausa's, in my opinion, are the most oppressed tribe by Islam in the entire Nigeria, them being ones the Fulani imposed islam on first and the longest.

I'm not suggesting Fulani Islam is bad o. Just that Hausa's will do what their Islamic leaders tell them to, and the oppression of women is the first step in the use of religion in controlling and dominating tribes and people.

IslamMuruna And Tatawwur by budaatum(op): 8:58pm On Jan 01, 2025
The traditional educational system in the Muslim north, which forms the bedrock of Islamic scholarship, revolves around a set of books introduced to the region by the Almoravids, centred on Maliki law, with the Mukhtasar of Shaykh Khaleel as the magnum opus. Let me say that the education itself is of a high standard. It is difficult and requires a strong sense of discipline and commitment. Yet despite all its strengths it is bedeviled by all the usual problems linked to a stagnant system. It encourages rote learning, does not welcome imagination and, most dangerous of all, perpetuates the myth that scholars living at some historical point have somehow transcended the limitations of mortal knowledge and offered solutions for problems they had no idea about.

The system confuses belief in the universal and eternal applicability of the Shariah with the need for a wholesale adoption of its historically specific interpretation to meet the requirements of a particular milieu. This confusion in turn throws the ulama into a cul-de-sac of sorts. If society changes and evolves, new questions are thrown up and, consequently, new priorities are set and options are re-evaluated if the Shariah is to be relevant. But the flexibility (muruna) and evolution (tatawwur) which are needed for the law to be applicable and relevant to every time and place are denied the Shariah by the very failure to contextualize rulings (mazahib) in their historico-culturally specific milieu. We have thus foreclosed the option of academic space, within which a discursive trend may evolve, strictly based on the hermeneutics of Islam and not derived from or reducible to alien concepts, and on the basis of which we can amend, adapt, extend or abrogate previous rulings and priorities and arrive at new, equally valid but more relevant ones.

If he can pay cash, of course its a good idea, though better is he get a mortgage so his own money is available for other uses.

As for it being worth it, I'd suggest he look into what he would do if a tenant refuses to pay and leave or if he incurs a huge repair bill. A person living in his house for free will quickly lose him equity. There's always insurance though, to mitigate losses.

Most of these problems are because of years and years of you refusing to innovate and improve Nairaland. It seems you believe in the crude mentality of using force/ban to resolve everything, hence Nairaland problems keeps growing daily.
