I guess judges can't be bribed with a loaf of bread. |
bemeruca:They didn't know? Despite what they were being paid to post was lies and antiamerican? Guess their only crime was ignorance then, and that's okay by you. |
bemeruca:Guess we need to disregard the fact they were paid by foreign agents, or be ignorantly convinced that Putin is a pro-America patriot. |
bemeruca:Like these ones? They must have been very bad "students" indeed. |
IjeBos:Why only some? Its illegal to broadcast without a licence in UK. There was a time we had lots of unlicensed pirate radios that specialised in music and or conspiracies, but after years of whackamole they all got shut down. |
Sounds like God telling one to marry a pastor. Bet the pastor offers himself, the sneaky git. |
Sukdiq fuqass. And its not Japanese! |
Ay04z:How dare you call me mir! And before you respond with a correction, How dare you call me ma! budaatum:This might help ![]() https://www.reddit.com/r/NonBinary/s/Nq7q9i9i8E |
Ay04z:That's like asking what's under my skirt, but since you asked, budaatum was born on August 08, 2006, as stated on my profile. I do too lie though, so figure. How dare you call me sir! |
MrBrownJay1:My laptop broke a few weeks ago and I've found myself emersed in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on 5USA. The sex crimes on there are mind boggling, and makes me wish it was shown in Nigeria to help educate some though I fear some might learn to do the crimes instead. An episode had a couple buying babies just to abuse them on webcam, and another was stealing girls to prostitute. And then there's Andrew and Tristan Tate, detained in Romania as part of an investigation into allegations of human trafficking and sex with minors. Some here call him their G-man, and they don't mean agent of the United States Government, but something to do with redpill. There's sick people on this earth. |
MrBrownJay1:The guilt he did not feel in 1991 or 1999 that he all of a sudden has started feeling now? That pig did not care who he harmed and feels no guilt whatsoever apart from the guilt of being caught! |
MrBrownJay1:Or the girl! |
MrBrownJay1:I didn't know he'd raped before, but I'm not in the least surprised. If he'd wanted to be caught as you claim, he could have just walked into a police station and given himself up, which he didn't, so I think his luck ran out. In the fall of 2022, already under arrest, he was charged with the 1991 rape and murder of Sophie Narme, 23, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. He denied the accusations brought by the cold case unit, dedicated to serial or unsolved crimes and based in Nanterre. These are accusations “based solely on conjecture,” denounced his lawyer, Béatrice Zavarro. But Pélicot was also charged with an attempted rape in Seine-et-Marne in 1999. In this case, his DNA was found at the scene and he admitted the crime, but denied having used a weapon. The modus operandi was always the same: both women were drugged with ether “during a visit to an apartment; both victims were real estate agents,” according to the Nanterre prosecutor’s office. Dominique P. was also involved in the buying and selling of apartments. |
Helpme08:Well, since you are not seeking solution and just want to vent, a new monicker might be a good idea. But if you are seeking help, I'm certain the details you send for the help will link to your LinkedIn and to your own moniker, and then bust you. Reputation, you see. What we write here is like the fruits by which we are known, and using a new moniker is like trying to hide from one's fruits, which yells fraud. |
IjeBos:I think the closest to radio would be infowars, which is not broadcastable in UK, and I only get it because..... Those others I listed definitely aren't, and I only get them because.... In fact, I don't think Fox News is available here (get that too because...), but I do agree "Talk radio is more vitriolic", especially over there. You got a thing called freedom of speech, which we thankfully don't have. We charge for speech instead, so people are more cautious what they let out their mouths here, or they might get sent a huge bill. |
MrBrownJay1:Actually, they all paid a nominal amount, and I was still in charge of my own home, just that I let them be. Or do you think my younger sister can be in charge because she contributes to where she lives? MrBrownJay1:My mother did not live with me and pay the rent! And I didn't "throw what she did in the past (in order to raise you the best she could), back in her face today". She asked a friend to travel from South London to North London at 2am to come and do her hair, which I am certain she'd not let anyone tell her own daughter's to do. And when confronted she insisted she is mother and can do whatever she wants, and was kindly told to go do it elsewhere and not in my home. This mother will make the family of those who come to ask to marry her daughters eat food her first son cooked so she can show them how their older brother is slaving in the kitchen and they must therefore not think her daughter will slave for them. The food is always ẹfọ riro with fine amala he learned to cook in Ibadan, so you know he cooks very well. For the one in Nigeria, it was iyan he cooked. As she wants done to her daughters must she do to the daughter's of others or go do it elsewhere, is the rule. |
MrBrownJay1:Imagine me needing help and resorting to a new monicker instead of the one I'm known for. Its either I don't want help or have become a scammer, I'd think, because I bet I'd find more helpers as me than as some new monicker. Hmm Perhaps I might try it instead of assume. |
IjeBos:I listen during the night mostly. Bad habit of radio for sleep. And you know I watch Newsmax, and OANN and Newsy and Infowars often, but not much of it sticks on me I think. Its not catching. Same way God isn't catching despite living in Nigeria, I'd say, the effect of being in control of ones own thinking and reasoning. If it were, black lives wouldn't matter, and dump for president and there is only one God and Jesus is Lord and Mohammed is a prophet. To be honest, I think its the fact that critical thinking is in our school diet over here, and you can't homeschool and indoctrinate, as the curriculum must still be followed. Can't even church school, lol and thankfully. |
DiamondsAreFore:I have, a bit. Just thought it is cruel to be that prepared and willing to video such an encounter, but then I remembered Jerry Springer, whom I mentioned to reorient my self to these modern times where phones are smart enough to record things by themselves. |
MrBrownJay1:He is my cousin, lol. And after we agreed terms, he was not squatting, we shared. Then my sister joined us and we continued sharing. Then my mother and other sisters joined us and we shared until some decided they were the boss in my own home and I stopped sharing with them. My mother threw me out at 15 for not obeying her rules, so she can't exactly change the rules because she doesn't want to obey her own rules in my own house. And she's not exactly a person I can send anywhere, since she's here in her own right too and bore me here. I'm a first born you see, who, due to circumstances, grew up early being responsible for my siblings like they were my own children, and my cousin was like my adopted son. |
IjeBos:I listen to C-Span a lot. They have phone-ins with separate numbers for Democrats, Republicans and Indys. The vitriol and lies are comical, but that's because I'm here faraway over the pond. Our alternative on tv would be GBNews and TalkTV, but their reach is very small and there's Ofcom. I'm sure there's radio too, but I can't stand radio with adverts. Funny that. I can stand vitriol and lies but not adverts, lol. |
MrBrownJay1:Oh, you found a room for them after they ramped up your bill by calling sex lines, you very kind hearted considerate human being. My own cousin was my age, a couple of months older than me in fact, and should have known not to heartlessly exploit me as he did. And I did not throw him out, but negotiated terms with him by which he could stay, and he did for like 3 years. Years later though, I did throw my own mother out for insisting my partner should do what she wouldn't ask her own children to do, and it was in the very cold bleak winter too. Luckily, she had other family to go to. If you want consideration, be considerate! |
And someone decided to video it all? Then again there's been Jerry Springer, so I'm not surprised. |
CJStarz:You'd be surprised to know I usually keep this sort of stuff off here so those young people don't feel the need to respect age and not throw insults whenever they like, and now, damn it, I'm busted! ![]() Someone, please be rude to buda so I know nothing has changed. |
MrBrownJay1:You are joking, lol, to suggest that because a person hasn't got many friends and its cold, I should let some modafuqa exploit me and if I don't I'm heartless. Next you'd be telling me I'm heartless for kicking him out abroad for sleeping with my husband too because he hasn't got any friends and its cold, lol. Anyone anywhere who is inconsiderate and heartless to their host deserves to be shown the door! And if its abroad where its cold and you're their only friend, that modafuqa person should consider their own heartlessness before someone finds reason to be heartless to them in return. |
The yearly availability of fresh corpers have ruined many jobs and contributed to the lack of employment of many, and completely destroyed the education system in many places. My local government in Osun State, knowing they will get up to 100 corpers each year, have not bothered employing teachers, and keep a headmaster or principal only and use the corpers instead. Unfortunately, of course, the corpers are not trained teachers, and often don't know the subject they are given to teach, so teach badly or not at all, and some are so morally debased that they think sleeping with 13 year olds is a fringe benefit! The regular influx of new corpers means the experience that permanent teachers would have gained is lacking, which is detrimental to the education of the students. Transpose this to a company and you'd see how long term knowledge and experience is killed off too, and that's apart from its effect on training and wage suppression, since employers are guaranteed cheap labour of corpers on allowee, which is no different to paying peanuts to monkeys. Personally? I want NYSC Scrapped

Whenever I receive a call I don't want, like from a salesperson or people talking nonsense, the latest being some Indian sounding person saying I've won a free iPhone, I just leave them talking and don't respond and they eventually cut the call off and don't call me no more. It costs them to call, you see, and the payback they get is your attention. So why not be responsible for your own time and just not attend to them so their money gets wasted at no cost to you? They'd get bored and take you off their list eventually. Though you must in future be aware where you've sent your number so it don't get on multicaller list. |
Larryfest:Things do look much bigger when we are small. I think the kids end started at 1.6ft, then 2 or 3ft, then 6, from where it slopes down to the deepest end. When you swim lengths, you'd literally be crawling on the floor at the kids end. We used to gbo'fe from school sometimes. There was this one of us who had lots of money - his father sold Peugeot - so everyone was his friend except me because he was a bully who usually picked on the smaller size people like me especially if you didn't kowtow to him which I didn't, not being one who cared much for the meatpies and suya he bought for his 'friends'. In order to get away from him and his bully mates, I'd swim in the deep end where they couldn't. That pool was fun to escape from them. Damn! The memories, lol, is worth more than the 30k, so thanks mmadu4. |
MrBrownJay1:Funny people, are some. I once had a cousin stay with me in my one bed and living room in UK, and gave up my bed for him because he had stinky shoes and snored. Whenever I cooked, he'd ask me if I'd eaten my portion and all the rest was his. I got a phone bill of over £200, and on checking the numbers called found it was him calling his friend in US, which he denied, stupidly not knowing about itemised bills. One day, I went to market, bought fish and Guinness and went home to cook rice, and as I was eating my cousin came home. "Ah, good", he said, "like you knew I was hungry. Have you taken enough for yourself?" "No", said I, "I surely haven't. I plan to eat it all by myself and drink all my Guinness myself too. And when I'm done, I'd like you to sit down so we can talk". After eating all I could and rubbing my belly while he sat and watched me, I asked him if someone had told him my family owes his family, like if the dowry my father paid was not enough or something (his is my maternal side), and they've told him to come collect from me. "Oh", said he, "I thought government gave you all for free being as you are citizen". "Seriously?" I asked, angry and livid. "Like you don't see me doing night shifts 5 days a week to buy the food you been eating and pay the rent so a roof is over your head?" We sat down and negotiated he pay half rent, buy his own food and never ever touch my phone again without my permission. My younger sister joined us a couple of months later, and he sat down with her to share the house bills, and when ma and my other sisters joined us much later he did the same with them all. Funny that by then, I had given up my bed and the sofa and was sleeping in the bath. |
mmadu4:My life back then when I started going in 79-80, was selling 5 boiled eggs for ₦1 or canned Coke for 50 kobo at Lagos-Ibadan Expressway tollgate from 8am to 6pm on Saturdays during term and Monday to Saturday during holidays. Money earned went to buying school uniforms and shoes for me and my 4 siblings, and I'd make extra for myself by buying eggs and coke cheap off the lazy sellers and selling it after selling all mine. Motor tyre will roll over my pre-teen foot often while I chased the bus so they don't run off with my money which they sometimes did. |
Larryfest:Diving board was 6ft indeed, and 12 ft or was it 18? (It had 2 levels), but depth of the water was 24 feet, I think, and 2 metres in the middle. You can't dive from a 6ft board into a 6ft pool or you'd bash your head on the pool floor, much less from an 18ft board. I didn't go from 88 till mid 90s, as was far away, but by the time I returned in late 90s, that board was decommissioned, with the ladder leading up removed. Even in the late 70s when I first went there, the lifeguards will screen you before they let you pass the 2m water depth, much less let you dive from the board. |
