ngwababe:His sister wanted to fuq him. A consequence of putting boys and girls in the same room. |
CodeTemplarr:I disagree! Any reasonable person who wants to doctor results of the last election will not doctor a mere 8,794,726 votes out of a legible 93,469,008 registered voters. And the sooner we start being honest with ourselves, the sooner we'd find a remedy. |
First, well done for seeking help here, though it is not the right place. You were brought up in an unhealthy home where you were abused as a child, and should seek professional psychiatric help before you are completely destroyed. |

VIO knows most Nigerians are ignorant of the law and so they continue to exploit Nigerians. You should just show them the ruling and sue them if they persist. Annoyingly, this lawyer did not appear to sue for costs! https://businessday.ng/news/article/vios-dont-have-the-right-to-ask-for-vehicle-worthiness-appeal-court/

Shawarmagirl:Nigerians did not bother to elect anyone. Less than 9 million Nigerians elected our current president while the majority Registered 93,469,008 voters sat on their lazy irresponsible asses. We deserve what they dish out!
|
Obrigardo:I don't need to believe you. I know basilico is a stark illiterate. Just read his last post where he described his racist white bosses as good people. Only a stark illiterate would think so lowly of himself. |
Minjim:I've read government has threatened private companies with imprisonment if they don't pay the 70k minimum wage, but I of course don't believe they will carry out the threat. They sure will not find it easy to imprison a person who pays their driver or house help less than 70k, and they will close their eyes to local governments who can't pay it neither. |
Brendaniel:We must wake up from our slumber and realise that democracy os government by we the people for we the people, and elect competent caring leaders on election day instead of letting a mere 8 million people elect ọmọ wa ni and my religion leaders in a country of over 200 million people. Untill we do that, we shall continue to be led by the ignorant selfish leaders that we deserve. |
Branco6:The government does not give a flying fuq about my welfare! And yes, we don't produce anything. But that will not stop the government from taxing me. In fact, the fact the government does not care about my welfare is the reason they will tax me even more. Government does after all need my tax to pay themselves millions and buy presidential planes and treat themselves in UK and send their kids to Harvard, especially now that income from crude oil is drying up. As a side, less than 8 million elected the current president while I couldn't bother to vote. I ignorantly believed my vote does not count so I stupidly refused to cast it. Now listen to me wailing ebi npa wa, lol. The sooner I wake up from my slumber and realise that my government does not care about my welfare, the sooner I might start taking more interest on election day so fools don't elect my government.

Brendaniel:No, Brendaniel, I am not saying I believe the promises of an incompetent government, since an incompetent government can not fulfil its promises. Besides, the incompetent government did not promise the astronomical increase in prices that I have predicted. What I am saying is an incompetent government will introduce inefficiencies which will be reflected in price increases, so expect things to cost a whole lot more than they currently do. Our incompetent government has already threatened private industry with sanctions if they do not pay the 70k minimum wage. That increase will be reflected in prices across the board. Just think. A private school teacher who was paid 30 or so k will now have to he paid 70k. How much do you think school fees will need to rise to cover that increase. Ditto, gari and transport, and wages, eventually. |
basilico:You obviously did not go to school, so I don't expect you to understand what you read. Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) has proved ineffective in treating patients hospitalised with Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), but uncertainty remains over its safety and efficacy in chemoprevention. Panadol is likely as effective in treating patients not hospitalised with Coronavirus Disease 2019, but it wouldn't be used to treat hospitalised patients now, would it!? Here's an anecdote. I once fell ill, and during diagnosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome was suspected and I was given an intravenous treatment that was 3 doses. After the second dose it was determined I did not have Guillain-Barré syndrome, and the drug I was being given was pointless. I searched the drug online and found a dose was £500. I had received 2 doses, which was 1k, and so told them not to bother with the third. But they insisted I take all 3 as it would do me more good than harm. All I could think was, what if I was paying for this? £1500 down the drain! Have you paid the school fees of those you are responsible for? I don't want them to turn out stupid like you please.

Brendaniel:Our government is incompetent. No argument there. Before subsidy removal, the World Bank and co did numerous studies on the impact of subsidy removal, and money was given, which the government should have added to to help alleviate the impending sufferings, but here we are. Fact is, government can not continue to afford to subsidise, and fuel and most other things are bound to become a lot more expensive. Tinubu said the Nigeria economy will be in trillions, and this is how we will get there. Minimum wages of ₦70k is likely to be ₦700k in a very few years time and it still would not make fuel any cheaper.
|
Brendaniel:2, perhaps. Or maybe 3 or 4. |
Brendaniel:Which people? Facts are, some people will afford it and some won't. Same as some can afford to buy cars and some can't. Or do you want government to subsidise it for you? |
Brendaniel:Next, it is sold at the price the seller wants, and buyers have a choice whether to buy or not. We will have to ensure there is no prize fixing of course, and that sellers don't collude to set prices, which, considering iya loja setting gari price in the market might not be so easy, but its still the way to go. And before you ask, yes, it will be more expensive than it currently is, just as free market has made the dollar dearer. |
Biodun556:In Nigeria? Tax has been added? How much tax? Tell me please. |
Biodun556:Don't I? When Nigeria stops subsidising my fuel use and charges me fuel tax instead like many nations already do, I'm very certain I will understand the news then. |

Biodun556:Tinubu should remove subsidy and add tax? Guess he has 2 more years to do just that. We are being prepared for it. |
Made me think to add the following to show the lies some live. Ruby Franke, a mother of six who gave online parenting advice via a popular YouTube channel, was sentenced to four prison terms of between one and 15 years each, on aggravated child abuse charges on Tuesday.

Dominique Pélicot tells French trial: ‘I am a rapist’ A 71-year-old man accused of drugging his wife so he and scores of strangers could assault her has told a French court: “I am a rapist,” as he returned to the dock after illness. “I am a rapist, like the others in this room,” Pélicot said, referring to the 50 other defendants in the mass trial – men he allegedly recruited online to rape his then wife, Gisèle Pélicot. He added: “I am guilty of what I did – I say to my wife, my children, my grandchildren … I regret what I’ve done and I ask for forgiveness, even if it’s unforgivable.” He added: “She [Gisèle Pélicot] did not deserve this.” Alluding to the other accused men sitting on benches in court, he said “they all knew” he was inviting them to rape her. “I am guilty of what I did,” Pélicot said, saying he admitted “the facts in their entirety”. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/sep/17/dominique-pelicot-france-rape-trial-testimony What we know about the 51 men accused of raping Gisèle Pelicot https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/gisele-pelicot-men-accused-rape-1.7324328 Mass rape trial in France sheds light on what women say is a ‘rape culture’ https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/gisele-pelicot-dominique-mass-rape-trial-france-drugged-wife-rcna170776 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hX9vB1ueOH0?si=5InhI7yku6NOQbhu |
