Putin was not happy that the Ukrainian people revolted and ousted their pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych.

It Nigerians revolt and oust our current president and some country (Cameroon perhaps, or Niger or Chad) our ousted president supports invades us.

If we revolted against our president and ousted him, I'm certain we'd fight his friends too, or don't you think so?

Ukraine doesn't really need to be threatened by Russia to want to join Nato. Ukraine is a sovereign nation that doesn't need Russia's permission to join whatever organisation they want to join. But Russia invaded them in 2014, so they sought allies. Or do you not expect them to seek friends if they are attacked?

And its no way like Cuba, but more like Nigeria attacking Cameroon to get Bakassi back. Though I'm certain you'd say Cameroon should just let us have it and not ask Nato to help them fight back.
