Sounds like the law. The Guinean argument sounds valid under it, but the Nigerian one not.

Black people is not Obama. This is the problem with you guys. You Will lie to stand a chance in an argument.
Black people depicted as apes is not Obama neither, is what you can not comprehend. And you obviously lack historical knowledge of such despictions, knowledge which you also seem to be claiming dump lacks and which just shows he is ïgnorant.

This your post shows you refused to use your head. It shows a zealous person. Your murder analogy did not map at all. Murder is a specific with a clear legal category. If you kill one person, you are still a murderer by definition. Racism does not work in the same way. A better parallel might be: someone can commit an act of violence in a moment of rage without being a "violent person" in general character, but the act is still violent.
First, racism is specific with a clear legal category, at least here in UK. If you call someone a N you'd be done for it here. But apart from legal, there's also individual and societal opinion, which is what dump bowed to and removed said post.

Now, would you'd argue that a person who commits an act of violence in a moment of rage is not a violent person?

How about a person who steals in a moment of say, hunger, is that person not a thief too?
CareerRe: Should Such Be Appropriate In Nigeria System? by budaatum:
Employment in most countries have a probation period during which you can be sacked without notice, so I don't see why Nigeria should not have a similar policy.

Besides, an employee in Nigeria or anywhere can just decide they don't want to work for you anymore, and quit without notice.

It would be unusual however, to "introduce a clause after two months" when such clause should have existed in your employment contract, which would include your terms of employment and may be in supplementary documents given to you when you were employed.

Do know that "employee’s performance does not improve" is in itself notice, since a period to improve is implied. And your employer does not need to have explicitly included this in your contract of employment since it would have been assumed that you are good enough when you were employed and were only found not to be up to standard and needing improvement after being employed.

The probation period would be in your contract however, so it is not exactly the introduction of a new clause, but the pointing out of said clause to you.
Foreign AffairsRe: How European Leaders Rejected Trumps Invitation To Join Iran War by budaatum: 7:02pm On Mar 18
It's probably not easy for some to understand that Europe would rather their tax money be spent on fixing healthcare and on schools and mending potholes than spending it blowing up Iran that has not attacked Europe.

Would you want Tinubu spending Nigerian money bombing Iran too than providing light and security, or is it that you can not comprehend that European leaders serve at the pleasure of voters?

Oga, again, you are using racist tropes/slurs to attack me and my opinion on a discussion about racism. The irony is glaring here, you condemn rightly or wrongly any perceived racial dehumanization in the ape video as unforgivable racism yet you immediately turns around and deploys your own racial insults Uncle Tom/Rukus to demean and delegitimize me as a Black person for the sin of wrongthink.
In your own opinion then, and assuming your allegations are true, is Deepsight being racist or not, and was dump being racist in depicting Obama as an ape?

Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by budaatum: 6:38pm On Mar 18
benalvino3:
AI feels you don't have an argument. Emotions are not arguments
An act can be racist (involving racial prejudice, a slur, trope, or dehumanization based on race) toward one specific person in isolation — driven by personal spite, anger, rivalry, or a desire to insult/humiliate that individual — without the perpetrator necessarily holding generalized racist beliefs about the entire racial group, or being "a racist" in a broader, consistent sense.
So, basically, one can be racist towards you but that wouldn't make them racist?

I guess if I murder only individual you, you'd argue I'm not a murderer, according to your AI.

The below is from your link. Try not to "maths is racist" it if you can, though I will not be holding my breathe.

Is Deepsight right that it's "impossible"?

In the realm of social perception, Deepsight has the stronger hand. Most of society operates on the "Integrated Character" model: we judge people by their output. If a car consistently leaks oil, we call it a "leaky car," even if it only leaks on Tuesdays.

However, in psychology, Benalvino3's point has some (albeit controversial) weight. Humans are capable of "compartmentalization"—holding a value in one hand while acting against it in another due to stress, peer pressure, or malice.
The last paragraph is you claiming you can be "driven by personal spite, anger, rivalry, or a desire to insult/humiliate that individual" "due to stress, peer pressure, or malice" to be ïgnorant but that doesn't make you îgnorant. It sounds like ïgnorant maga illogic to me, and what you'd call contradictory if done by one.

My own opinion is, AI is not a substitute for paying schoolfees and attending classes so you may actually learn. Try reading a book on racism in USA. It might help you understand better.

Can you imagine black men who say that a video depicting the Obamas as apes is not not racist?
Black men can say that?

My word.
I don't need to imagine what I can see with my own eyes. What I can't imagine is me letting such low self worth black men consuming my time by me considering whatever they have to say, because, if they can not value their own black selves, they sure wouldn't value black me.

Claiming "Yo won't understand", is you trying to make out like your situation is unique and you are the only suffering thus. It is not unique, and there are millions suffering like you.

BusinessRe: How Much Do I Charge A Client To Create AI African Stories by budaatum: 2:51pm On Mar 17
You should start here by listing your costs for the tools you would use and state how long it would take you to produce the work, at least.

In fact, since this is a new thing for you, obvious because you don't quite know what you are doing, I'd suggest you go for a revenue share after costs subject to review after 3 months.

This person is not your client, but your partner. And you should be working together instead of charging.

You're arguing for participation, which is valid when people believe the process can produce change. But you're ignoring that boycott is also a legitimate form of resistance when people have completely lost confidence in the process.
The process can not produce change if you do not participate, and your boycott just leaves you out of governance while not shielding you from the suffering those elected to govern will inflict on you.

If you want to be confident in the process, participate!

SmartPolician:
Many Nigerians don't believe in the electoral process. Someone quoted my comment on Nairaland days ago and was saying that electoral results are written in people's houses.

It's quite worrying that people still hold these views in 2026 when the country has adopted modern technologies like BVAS and iRev to improve the process.
They say that, and my response is, that's the best way to rig an election. Convince people their vote don't count so they don't bother voting, while my few supporters will vote and win the election for me.

Thankfully, the more we don't vote and leaders who increase our suffering are elected, the more we might start taking elections and voting serious.

PoliticsRe: For The Record: Nigeria's Democracy Is Facing Imminent Collapse — Opinion by budaatum: 5:01pm On Mar 16
givedemwotowoto:
No doubt, people haven't fought hard enough to protect democracy, as democracy is not self-executing, but that doesn't discount the fact that state capture can and will destroy democracy. If people go out to vote but bandits and thugs are sent to intimidate them, and votes are rewritten, then voting alone isn't going to solve the problem.
Indeed, voting alone is not going to solve the problem. It is however a start.

We should go out and vote first and find out if bandits and thugs are sent to intimidate us and then deal with that problem instead of not going out to vote at all.

Other actions are joining a party to participate in primaries, volunteering with Inec to count votes, and recording and sharing bandits and thugs sent to intimidate so we all know about it, but as I reread that last one again, I feel like adding, and most importantly, do not sell your vote for a loaf of bread.
