Try this, take the number of those laid off in your article(95,000) and divide that by the number of employed Americans (~131,000,000). Tell me what percentage that is. That will be the percentage of those laid off to the overall percentage of people working. I'll let you do math. Let me know if you need help with it.

The problem in the US isn't employment at the moment, it's the FED's belief that in order to tame inflation they need to increase the unemployment rate by 1% and that's what they are doing by increasing the interest rates. And the FED is a wholly independent agency whose Chair(Powell) is a Republican reappointed by Biden (Dems will be Dems, see how well Comey worked out). The fear in the Biden circle should be that the FED causes these layoffs in the midst of the 2024 campaign and that these layoffs don't stop at a 1% increase in the unemployment rate.
Easy to tell if school fees were paid or not.

That fear is what screwed Jimmy Carter. Yet Biden is letting Powell do his job as he rightly ought to.

So are you for or against giving puberty blockers to minors?
Whether a minor is given puberty blockers or not should not be up to my for or against as I have no intention of dictating to anyone.

Whether a minor is given puberty blockers or not should first be up to the parents of the minor, then the minor, then the professionals caring for the minor, because they are all best placed to determine what is best for the minor.

I've placed parents of the minor first before the minor, who is really first, only because your question includes the oxymoronic word "given", like "let us drug this child". But even if you'd ask about minors taking puberty blockers, the order still stands as parent-minor-professionals, since the parents are responsible for educating the minor to make the right choice in the first place.

Basically, if you want to drug your minor, your body your choice. Except where existing law prohibits it of course, for I wouldn't want the stupid idiot coming up with his maths is racist version and claiming buda said, 'your body your choice abortion cocaine and heroin minors'.

Funny about jobs. The plan is for unemployment to rise to loosen the overtight job market so there's no dreaded inflation in wages because those hit business and government revenue most.

That's why Powell is raising the cost of doing business. Hard to understand though if market and economy knowledge is the sort one never paid school fees for.

Thankfully, this is from this same thread, where I maintain as I do everywhere, my body my choice.

Now try using your brain just a little.

If I carry my buda body to the abortionist and say abort what is in it, my body my choice, right?

And if I decide for my buda body after foetus has reached the point of viability, no abortion except in very extreme circumstances like the life of the mother; who's body, ben?

This people are saying blacks are too dumbed to perform well on maths and its because of white supremacy and Tdotbluejays1 and budaatum are falling for it. Shameful
Ben, above is from very near the beginning of your stupid ignorant maths is racist. Note how when you began, it was "blacks are too dumbed to perform well on maths and its because of white supremacy", and which has evolved into your "maths is racist" and which basilico is going with you on. I've copied below what you posted as your evidence at the time, so it can seen that you can't read!

This tool provides teachers an opportunity to examine their actions, beliefs, and values around teaching math-ematics. The framework for deconstructing racism in mathematics offers essential characteristics of antiracist math educators and critical approaches to dismantling white supremacy in math classrooms by making visi-ble the toxic characteristics of white supremacy culture (Jones and Okun 2001; dismantling Racism 2016) with respect to math. Building on the framework, teachers engage with critical praxis in order to shift their instruc-tional beliefs and practices towards antiracist math ed-ucation. By centering antiracism, we model how to be antiracist math educators with accountability. While primarily for math educa-tors, this text advocates for a collective approach to dismantling white supremacy. This school-wide approach ensures that anti-racist work is not left alone to one individual (i.e., math teacher or the director of equity), but to enlist the support and voice of all stakehold-ers in the school ecosystem. • Teachers should use this work-book to self-reflect on individual practices in the classroom and identify next steps in their anti-racist journey as a math educator. • Leaders and coaches should use the framework during observa-tions and walkthroughs, annotat-ing the behaviors and providing targeted feedback. • Administrators should examine programs and policies and how white supremacy impacts student outcomes (e.g., tracking, course selection, intervention rosters). In addition, they can hold teachers accountable for completing the activities in this workbook.HOW TO USE THIS TOOLCONTENT DEVELOPERSSonia Michelle Cintron Math Content Specialist UnboundEdDani Wadlington Director of Mathematics Education Q

The racism is systematic in my understanding.
And not necessarily an interpersonal racism from say the teachers and staff.

Sorry I don't have much knowledge on this particular topic.
But it is a characteristic of cons to allows deny the existence of racism in institutions and systems. They have a very limited understanding and engagement with the topic.
So, as long as it's not a white man calling a black man the Nword then it can't be called racism.
It is systematic, is exactly what is being inferred, as opposed to maths is racist as that magafool implies. And I do have lots of knowledge on this having been a teacher and worked on school exclusions where blacks are excluded the most despite being in the minority.

Here in UK it was teachers telling black and lower class white students to aim low (nurse, bus driver, bookkeeper etc), while encouraging whites to aim high (doctor, lawyer, accountant). It's even done in school selection in boroughs, whereby wealthy whites go to the best schools while everyone else goes to the dump school. But to the cons on here, white man calling a black man the Nword is the only racism they recognise.

I call it the Adam Syndrome, where you tell some not to nourish themselves with fruits of knowledge least they die. So they dare not touch the tree of knowledge least their eyes open and they gain wisdom and free themselves from slavery in Eden and become self employed. Except now we have generations who don't accept that rubbish and want to be like Eve who tests what she's told.

But I guess I'm telling cons to listen to serpents, and we know that's not done.

Ben, it is exactly the same thing as ignorantly claiming don't say gay as you stupidly claiming maths is racist!
