His Republican base is gradually thinning out. Its reducing instead of increasing. There are few moderate republicans, and then some so called loyal republicans are just scared of Trump after seeing how he ended Liz Cheney's political career. They work secretly against Trump but come out in public to show support.
Even the si you responded to has thinned out on dump.

That said Donald Trump arrested for 34 felonies is bad look for the less informed. However the rules allow the DA to throw anything and see what sticks. For more information, Google "Donald Trump rule 34".

I think Republicans are finally getting it. The heightened libel standards and the protections offered to even libelous right wing media, keeps them in business. Removing them will hurt Right Wing Media outlets who often lie, (Fox etc) far far far more than Liberal Media. Look at all the lies in this thread and the current Fox News case.

Back in 1978, the dollar’s share started plunging from around 85% of global exchange reserves as inflation exploded in the US, and other central banks got cold feet holding securities denominated in this stuff. In the 1980s, inflation started to come down. But central banks – and the rest of the world – took a long time to regain confidence in the dollar, and the dollar’s share of reserve currencies didn’t bottom out until 1991, with a share of 46%. Then came the bounce until the euro showed up, which put a stop to the bounce. The chart shows the share of the dollar at the end of each year.

I think the narrative that the Trump indictment is some never seen political targeting is an indictment on the Media. Trump has called for Bill Clinton, Obama, and Hilary Clinton to be prosecuted, led chants "lock her up" and asked Bill Bar to prosecute Obama and Clinton. While the House Republicans are currently investigating Biden's son, a current President who is running for President. I wish the media would call it out or ask those who are making the argument to explain the hypocrisy.

Then the idea of bringing so many tribes and religions to form a country is defeated.
No it is not. See below why we are created differently.

sotall:
The constitution of the country that talks about federal character is sham. And the Nigeria's motto that says unity and progress is a charade.
No they are not sham, and charade. Least not all of us. In fact, some of us still sing Nigeria we hail thee. The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain, before we Arise o' Compatriot and Pledge to Nigeria my Country, not because we believe it but because we aim to fulfil it so it becomes factually true.

To some of us, they are words that are meant for us to read and gain an understanding thereof so we may aspire to fulfil our understanding in the long run just as eternal life is fulfillingly gained only after the end of our labour and when we are too dead to benefit from it ourselves.

Never said the writers of the bible didn't write it right.
And i never judged Christianity using a book, rather i reject the concept of God projected through Christianity and her similar religions.
So, you are judging Christianity by the Christians around you when you say "The stories in the bible that fails every form of integrity test...."?

And you "reject the concept of God projected through Christianity".....?

Now that first is judging the finger instead of the moon the finger points to, while the second is a sign of growth and development and independent mind use and indication of your evolution from stupid ignorant enslaved Adam to use her own senses freed from slavery live very very long become self employed populate the earth Eve, and one day you just might evolve into God's Image.

sotall:
My idea of who God is differs from what is written in the bible. I am a living example of a human made by God and hence i would rather believe in a God whose nature is in agreement with the life i see and experience than follow what was written by another man.
You do not believe, that is very clear. And you are wise enough to create your own God in your own Image, just as the writers created (wrote down) their God in their own images in the stories they wrote and which you do not believe and because you use your mind, though you think you did not learn this from reading the Bible, lol.

Regardless, sotall, and therefore. Your learning has made you comprehend, though subconsciously it seems, that Ye are God and a Child of the Most High. And your mission, should you choose to accept it, is below.

This was your reply to my assertion that Nigeria's political space is being intentionally dominated by muslims while Christians are relegated.

Though i feel this is a deliberate falsehood from you denying the obvious Mr Budaatum. But then i will give you the benefit of doubt that you aint aware of the religious dominance that is eating up the secularism of Nigeria.

Now i will ask you quickly go through the cabinet members of the outgoing president of Nigeria right from when he was elected in 2015.
Compare this with former administrations of Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan.
I expect that if we elect a person of a particular tribe or religion, that person will form a cabinet predominantly made up of people of the elected person's tribe or religion.

And I expect this because I am aware that "secularism of Nigeria" is a myth and we Nigerians are not secular. We are religious. And tribal.

If you elect buda, buda's cabinet will be made up predominantly of those who disbelieve like buda.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is Christianity Failing Nigeria? by budaatum:

This is because i have decided after careful and time-taken investigation of religion that it is a tool invented to manipulate man and keep him from using his brain.
Not true. Christianity is a religion with a book. A book you must mature enough to read and grow to understand, which makes the book a tool to exercise your brain on so you know how to use it better.

As chewing stick is to teeth, so is Bible to brain.

sotall:
The other major religion in Nigeria aside Christianity is islam. Over the years , islam has been expanding and crossing the boundary of secularism in Nigeria because Christians have become docile and politically asleep.
I do agree that Islam is going through a renaissance while Christianity is in its twilight, but believe that is because of the increase in the availability of the Qur'an in local languages, while Christian youths are into xbox and playstation and mobiles and porn and not so much into reading the Bible.

sotall:
But when a place is dominated by islam, it is hell on earth for the minority that are not Muslims. They are either forced to convert or are killed.
I wonder if this is true in most cases.

sotall:
Now we are seeing a dangerous trend in Nigeria where only muslims are fit to occupy top political positions. Christians and Non-Muslims are being relegated from leadership positions.
I myself can not say I see any such trend, but if true, the smarter rule the ignorant, and I don't think Christians read anymore.

Just listen to your very own self.

sotall:
The stories in the bible that fails every form of integrity test as well as the many actions of bible characters that clearly shows immorality, unrighteousness as well as falsehood which was not reprimanded by the bible God put paid to my leaving Christianity and by extension any form of religion that has the Adam and Eve creation bruhaha.
You saying the writers did not write it right? Now, isn't that amazing. But If you never had a book from which you now judge God, your mind would never have developed so much that you can judge a whole religion, and your society, and most especially yourself, and end up doing greater things than He did.

When I kill a fetus its "first degree" murder because I've killed a human
You took a life other than your own and external to you, so yes you are a murderer.

kkins25:
But, when you get pregnant the same baby that is human when killed by another suddenly becomes a bundle of cells. grin grin grin grin grin
Pregnant is internal to me, like my precious heart is internal to me, and my kidney and my womb and the toto you impregnated your diq into, all are internal to me, and is all my body, so, if I choose to cut off my heart or cut off my hand or cut off my diq or cut of my foetus, my body my choice!

And it's not nonsense, since I may have valid reasons to cut off my hand or cut off my heart or cut off my foetus, as oppose to you calling it a life and a baby. You take it out of my pregnant body at 3 months and see how long your 'baby' lives.

Again, I ask the pro-abortionist, when an aligator kills its own offspring, we classify them as unintelligent and lack self awareness. What do we call a human that does what the crocodile does?
If it has offspinged from her it is not inside her, and a human that kills an offspring outside of it is a murderer. In some places, we'd even imprison you for murdering an inspring foetus, like if you kick a 3 month old in her pregnant belly or if a pregnant person aborts a 7 month foetus. But on the whole, prior to offspring, my body my choice.

I'm quite sure if a baby was being grown in an incubator and is just 4 months old, would the mother have the right to abort it?
The foetus is 4 months old in an incubator, I think you mean, because, aborting a 4 month old baby is murder!

Of course the mother has no right to abort it. She has donated from inside her body into the incubator, so it's now, 'incubator and foetus baby's choice'.

kkins25:
Or does the incubator negate motherhood and my body my choice?
Incubator does not negate motherhood. Just that the foetus baby in incubator is no more in your body, so at best, it's my foetus baby in the incubator choice.

kkins25:
I think you uploaded the wrong photo.
That usually happens. Instead of trying to think out what it means they think the wrong things.

kkins25:
I will not mind the percentage of society irrespective of development that sees abortion as a normal practise.
Most abortions aren't reported to society. But you provide that instead of your baseless "most"!

What about the science, though? There are no studies showing the long-term effects of gender childhood gender transitioning. This is quite self-evident too, as this whole thing only really caught on recently.
Science? I am very absolutely certain that if I teach my minor to affirm its own gender then science would play a large part. After all, it will see with its senses dogs fuqing on the street and fowls chasing hens and zoos will be part of its education, so science indeed, as in what minor sees with its senses. But if some parent's science tells them they are dogs or want to be stupid and ignorant or commit suicide or chop off their tits and their diqs or not vaccine, who da fuq made buda god to say they must not in America, the land of the free and the home of the brave and where medical scandal are expensive? Purdue Pharma, Sacklers reach $6 billion deal with state attorneys general

The settlement doesn't give the Sackler family protection from criminal lawsuits

Some advocates for people who use drugs are angry at the time and money spent on this case rather than on addiction and overdose prevention. Drug overdose deaths rose to a record high of more than 100,000 people last year.

More than a million Americans have died from overdoses during the opioid epidemic. Others are angry that Sackler family members are not being forced to give up more of their wealth. Court filings show the family took in $10 billion in profits from OxyContin and could recoup much of what they lose in this settlement.

While the Sacklers have never faced criminal charges — and have denied any wrongdoing – their alleged role pushing opioid sales have brought a growing public backlash. Museums, universities and other institutions around the world have stripped the Sackler name from buildings and programs.

The Sackler-Purdue bankruptcy deal is one of several settlements that are expected to provide state and local governments with funds to help reduce overdoses and deaths.

https://www.npr.org/2022/03/03/1084163626/purdue-sacklers-oxycontin-settlement
Scandal do is scandal pay in America, and I can live with that. It's not as if I will feed my Nigeria minor so belle full that it has time to think its a dog.

Lastly, we like to say that trans people need gender affirmation as minors to reduce youth suicide. However, youth suicide rates in America have been relatively steady since the 90s despite increased trans rights acceptance.
Kentucky say they have 70 trans. Suicide is like 2 or 3. But those who feel it know it more and opinion of others is moot, as far as I am concerned at least. Besides, most learnt the cost of homosexual crimination and are minding to not repeat it.

See here persons who want cut of their hand and cut off their head and buda is sharpening knife. They not minor though.

You're kicking the can down the road a bit. The essence of the question is to your take on its legality.
If a thing is legal it is legal, and my opinion changes that not.

CoolUsername:
Do you think the administration of puberty blockers to minors should be legal for the purpose gender affirmation?
Si's MiR version is, of course I think and accept "the administration of puberty blockers to minors should be legal for the purpose gender affirmation".

But personally, before people are allowed to get pregnant I would love it if they were made to go for parenting lessons and pass a test for a licence they have to renew every 3 years till their first born is 25 years old. That way, parent would not neglect their duty to educate their minor to be comfortable in their born gender such that their minor now needs puberty blockers for the purpose of gender affirmation since I consider the affirmation of gender to be first and prime most duty of the parent, and if not the parent then the education system, then medical professionals whom I expect will also check the parent for sanity.

I am liberal, see. And I'm democratic. I may opine have sex at 18 years old at least but know many might at 15 and some might get pregnant, so I can't possibly impose nor want to impose my own personal opinion on anyone's body, not even on my own body even. Besides, It's puberty blockers, cool. And minors already condoms 13 (8 in some cases), parents at 15 and OxyContin, suicide, etc, and with AR15 at 12 they can shoot others with and parental choice in schools!

If a parent is so irresponsibly insane with the affirmation of their minor's gender that their child is convinced it wants puberty blockers, then their body their choice. They not cutting the minor breast and diq off yet, but by 14 I'm letting child decide. Their body their choice, and that includes voting and detesting the ignorant parent if that's what the parent sowed.
