Chaii are you discouraging me?
If what I wrote, to see if you are worth supporting, is discouraging you, then perhaps aim lower than president of Nigeria.

Try Ward Councillor perhaps, or Super.

Saleem111:
I NEED ADVICE PLS grin
Where are you at in your journey to become Nigerian president?

What learning about Nigeria have you acquired?

What learning about governance and democracy do you have?

What do you intend to do when you become president, and how do you intend to do them?

P.s. I have ignored your grin, because it might be the self chosen destiny that you intend to work at to become president of Nigeria and it would be improper to discourage you.

It's high time we made a law making it mandatory for OND to be the primary requirement for obtaining a PVC and voting in this country.
That would be difficult. Iyalọjas down south would need to go back to school, and the ẹlẹrans and mechanics would need to join her all just to have a say in who rules them. And there's no guarantee a mandatory OND would make a difference since we have lots of ONDs here who've paid others to learn for them choosing wrongly.

An alternative is to educate (inform, enlighten), people about governance and democracy so they choose wisely. And they don't need a certificate for that.

Have you seen the show Westworld? What do you think about it if you have? See it if you haven't, it's quite thought provoking.

Are we now at the point where we do not need evidence of claims before they are believed?

I mean, I know it's about that thief we mostly hate but that's no reason to park our brains unused.

Then again, this just might just be an ingenious test to see who has a brain.

Op, evidence, please!

Havertz10:
Our parents like that, it’s an archaic social norm that our generation would do away with.

Most people on Nairaland don’t know shit, ideally a woman wants to be affectionate, it’s their nature, we men abused that by turning them into useful assets, thankfully a significant proportion of women are getting educated, becoming more self aware and assertive, things will improve, ignore those people, they will adapt, they don’t have a choice

At the end of the day, if a woman loves you, she would easily afford you the same respect and attention, you don’t need a society norm to force her to give you that.

I don’t know how old your dad is but the measures that republicans are proposing doesn’t completely eliminate social welfare broadly, they just want to limit the number of users.

If you think you know thing anything mention me there.
This is an American forum thing.. we digress at times because of circumstances.
You are an obnoxious personae by the way. Look for cash to warm you over winter .. Ill be slaughtering goats, ducks and cows at will in broad sunlight while you shudder why Putin invaded Ukraine. smiley smiley over your next winter
Do you really think I can't pay my own heating bills and pay someone to slaughter goats, ducks and cows for me if that's what I want to eat, or do you think slaughtering in daylight imbues them with extra flavour?

Here you know nothing but what qanon fills your head with, so why would I bother mentioning you anywhere else when it's obvious you'd know nothing there?

You did not take a break from the false mode of thought you had on the religion/islam section.

What you did was replace your god for dump. Your inability to consider evidence and believe in a made up alternative reality remained intact.

Bas, you know very well that buda does not debate you on anything whatsoever so why would buda debate you about Islam when it's obvious you know nothing about Islam, have never read the Islam book, and have never even read the Christian book?

Trump talked about draining the swamp without an understanding who are the swamp creatures and ended up putting more swamp creatures in position of power.
Please stop this, because I don't want to have to respect you, which I'd have to do if you keep being this honest even if it's on this one fact alone.

That's who Democrats are. They genuinely believe in the ideals they speak about. The come into politics to actually make the word a fairer, just place. They deliberate everything, weigh decisions and get paralyzed by it. It makes them weak especially around Bullies. So Garland is being deliberative, debating the consequences of indicating Trump, going through the process, making sure he is being especially fair to Trump. If the shoe was on the other foot and this was Bill Barr, he would have already indicted Biden. I understand it, but when dealing with people like MAGA Republicans, they just see weakness.
Magas see weakness. Most voters see the sensible well mannered good behaviour that they like seeing run their country and they vote for it.

If Dems behave like magas, I'm voting.......

Well got to think about that some, but me and all the dead I raise will not vote for Dems with maga behaviour!

That’s too kind he’s far worse than a hypocrite, he openly lies, never pays enough tax even though he’s a millionaire himself, and never lives the way he wants his constituents to live. All he wants is the ability to Lord over Americans and live a life of opulence while his voters are his servants and living a life of misery.
